Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Sister Jeannie…

Good morning. Thank you for coming to prayer today.

Special morning prayer guest leader…

I’ll probably mention this a few times, but Pastor Ray is leading prayer tomorrow. Huge highlight. Huge! I think it’s just because I miss praying with him that he’s going to be here tomorrow. That’s just what I’ve decided.

Opening prayer…

Father, I thank you that what you speak through my mouth today gives clarity to the body of Christ, gives clarity to every hearer today. I thank you that my tongue is articulate, and I thank you for Holy Spirit urgent utterance. Let’s just pray in the Spirit a little bit.

You bring the kingdom with you wherever you go…

Everywhere you go, you bring the kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. That’s you. So when you walk the earth, and even today as we pray things out, we are enforcing the kingdom. And we have just received a massive victory. And I’ve heard this many times through people that have mentored us, that many times we’re the most vulnerable after a victory. And now the work begins.

Now the work begins…

I was on a group text and I had texted, “Now the work begins and what happens when the people of God pray.” And his response irritated me. Now granted, he’s like my brother and he just loves to kind of lighten up the moment, but he said, “I’m done with praying. I just want to watch Netflix and eat Haagen-Dazs.” Right? Well, me being true to form, in one of my intense attitudes, I didn’t respond to him. But my first thought was, “Well, then you’re not praying correctly.” In fact, I think I’ll mention that to him the next time I see him.

But we pray with an easy yoke and a light burden. Why? Because we have the name above every name. Because our prayers create results. Our prayers encounter heaven and bring the encounters of heaven. Have you ever prayed with people that don’t believe that? Don’t do it anymore. They’re laughing because they all agree. Let’s pray the spirit a little bit more.

Minnesota is connected to her destiny…

We give you the highest praise. We thank you that the standard is being raised and even in Minnesota. Would we ever release Minnesota from her destiny in our praying? No. No. Minnesota is connected to her destiny. St. Paul, the Capitol. St. Paul! Do we remember that Ananias did not want to pray for St. Paul because he still saw him as Saul? Do you remember that? Do we do that? Let’s not do that.

Isaiah 54, enlarge your tent…

So, I’m going to start out here with Isaiah 54. “Enlarge the place of your tent. Stretch your tent curtains wide. Do not hold back. Lengthen your cords. Strengthen your stakes for you will spread out to the right and to the left. Your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.”

Desolate cities! Kingdom people settling in desolate cities.

“Do not be afraid. You will not suffer shame.”

When Lance was here, he articulated things that we’ve been praying out for a long time now, that during times when we are contending to see the kingdom of God, to see the things that we are enforcing from the spirit to see them here on the earth, what’s truly happening is that we are enlarging the place of our tent. Because, we are not praying from a place of “God give us relief.”

Did you know that? We have not been praying from a place of, “Oh, just let it end.” Yeah, your flesh does that. But your spirit never does. Your spirit, which is the place that you pray from with the name and the identity that we pray from is the place of enlarging the place of our tent. What we have been doing is we’ve been creating space now to take ground because we know that now the work begins. We know that this is not the time to relax.

We keep taking ground…

Yes, we pray with an easy yoke and a light burden. We relax in Him, but we have been strengthened through this time. And now we take ground while keeping the ground that we’ve already taken. We will not have to go back and pick up things that we thought we had already taken. No! We’re moving forward now. We’re moving forward and we are taking massive ground. We have been in the gym and now it’s time to take ground.

The beginning of victory upon victory upon victory…

Because we’re just at the beginning of a victory upon victory, upon victory, upon victory. In fact, we declare today that our tents have been enlarged. The places of our tents have been enlarged. We are stretching those tent curtains even more and more and more and more. We are stretching them wide, and we do not hold back. In Minnesota! When God says, “Pray for Minnesota,” we don’t say, “Well, don’t you know what Saul did?” We don’t say that. We say, “Yeah, Minnesota. You are getting in line with the name of Jesus. Massive revival has already begun in Minnesota. Living Word, you have been stretching your tents and you have been ready for the harvest that is upon you.” That’s what we say. And that’s how we pray.

It didn’t move God a bit…

In the genealogy of Jesus, it mentions Joseph, Mary’s husband. Now isn’t that amazing? And this was before Jesus was even on the scene. Well, how did God know that Joseph would get on board? How did he know that? God has never once had an insecure thought regarding Joseph. When an angel told Saul, “Ananias is going to come and pray for you, and you will see clearly,” it did not move God when Ananias said, “Well, don’t you know all of the awful things he’s done?” It didn’t move God a bit. How did God know that Ananias was going to obey?

God sees us by the spirit…

I would propose to you that God sees us by the Spirit and not by our flesh. He knew the spirit that Ananias walked in. He knew that Ananias’ heart was toward God. He knew it. He saw his prayer life. He walks with Him. He walked with Him. And so he thought, “You know what? Ananias is going to come through.” He never one time had an insecure thought about Ananias.

Even when Ananias said, “What? Don’t you know I just killed a bunch of us.” Didn’t move God at all. He didn’t think, “How am I going to explain to Saul that I just had an angel tell him that Ananias and is going to come and pray for him. He didn’t, not one time.

America shall be saved…

His plan is true. When he told Dutch Sheets years ago that America shall be saved. There are moments coming now where we will remind ourselves of that. So when you think about Ananias, when you think about how Joseph was in the genealogy before any of this. That’s exactly his thoughts toward us right now in this time. When our flesh responds one way, He sees us by the spirit. Let’s see us by the spirit. Let’s see how co-laboring with God is a joy, has a purpose, and it creates results. Let’s see how absolutely demanding nothing short of God’s perfect plan and going for more and more and more.

Pastor Lynne will not leave it alone…

It’s one thing I love about Pastor Lynne. When I saw her praying with Billye Brim in Missouri, she would not leave it alone. That’s what built this church. Why would we stop now? Why would we even wonder about Minnesota? That’s just your flesh. It’s not your spirit. And God knows that.

Dutch Sheets “Give Him 15”—Burn the Ships…

And I am declaring that we begin to know this now, that we recognize ourselves by the spirit. So I’m going to read Dutch Sheets “Give Him 15” from October 31 called “Burn the Ships.” I’m going to first though read just what burned the ships, that metaphor, what it means.

Definition of metaphor “burn the ships”…

So the phrase, “burn the ships” is a metaphor that means to commit a course of action without the option to retreat. Especially when faced with challenges or risks. The phrase is said to have originated from the 1519 Spanish Conquest. Cortez ordered his ships to be burned, so as men would be forced to win or die. Cortez’s actions motivated his crew to succeed and they ultimately achieved their mission. In modern terms, the phrase can be applied in a variety of situations. Leadership: a leader can burn the ships to show their team that they’re fully committed to a transition.

Are we fully committed to this transition? Yeah, we are.
Have we been fully committed the entire time by the spirit? Yes, we have.
Can we do this? You bet we can.
Have our tents been enlarged on the inside? A resounding yes. A resounding hallelujah. A “yes and an amen.”

Now just listen to this again…

Isaiah 54:1. “Enlarge the place of your tent. Stretch your tent curtains wide. Do not hold back. Lengthen your cords. Strengthen your stakes for you will spread out to the right and to the left.”

Did you hear that?

You, the Gospel will spread out to the right and to the left, coming together united. Why wouldn’t we? Why wouldn’t we believe for that? Your descendants will dispose nations and settle in their desolate cities.

Do we have desolate cities? Yes.
Do not be afraid. You will not suffer shame.

From Dutch’s “Give Him 15”

“In 1519, the Spanish Explorer Cortez set sail for Mexico with 11 ships and between 6 and 700 men. His goal was to conquer the Aztecs and establish a Spanish settlement. The Aztecs were a very cruel people and performed thousands of human sacrifices to their gods every year. They also captured and possessed many slaves. Their population at the time of Cortez arrival was approximately 5 million. 6 to 700 men versus 5 million. Does that sound like the Israelites in the Promised Land? Mathematically, the odds were stacked against Cortez and his men by the ratio of 7,541 to 1.

Two previous expeditions had failed.

Ananias. “Well, don’t you know what he did?” “Well, don’t you know what’s been happening in Minnesota?”

Yet he succeeded and conquered much of the South American continent. What Cortez did at the beginning of his endeavor is the stuff of legends. Some say the actions were a result of his men becoming so intimidated by the odds. Yeah, that’s just your flesh. So intimidated by the odds and hardships that they decided to give up and go home. Just your flesh. Others say Cortez didn’t even wait for that to occur before taking this drastic measure. Either way, Cortez left no doubt that they were staying. Burn the ships! Cortez commanded his officers. Cortez removed the option of leaving, turning the mission into an all or nothing proposition.

Jesus burned the ships…

Jesus had the opportunity when it was all or nothing. And He burned the ships. Before he called it finished, He didn’t want to go through it either. It was just His flesh. Jesus came here as a man, fully submitted to God. We can do this because the one that already finished it… I gave an example of a man fully submitted to God, the Son of man also endured absolutely everything we will ever endure. And we are in an all-or-nothing time. And you have been really the entire time. It’s just you’re awake to it now.

Thank God, we’re awake to it!
