Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Heather…

Well, good morning. Welcome to morning prayer, everyone. Thank you for joining us.

Prayerful Worship…

Father, thank you that your faithfulness and your mercy endures forever.
Thank you that you love us with an everlasting love.
Thank you that we can never exhaust that love. It’s an unconditional love.

Help us to remember Your love…

Help us remember when we’re busy, when we’re frustrated, when we’re disappointed, when things don’t look how we hope they would look, that we have a love of our Father, an unconditional, everlasting, powerful love that holds us, that sees us through every difficulty, every trial, that champions us, that cheers us on, that gives us every tool we need to be successful, every weapon needed for our warfare, every shield that we need, that we can run to you for safety, that you keep us in the cleft of your rock, under the shadow of your wing, and that nothing is impossible for you, and if you’re for us, who can be against us?
Nobody and nothing can stand against your love. Nothing can stop your love. Nothing can lessen your love. Nothing can dim your power or your light.
And so now we just focus on you, on your goodness, your faithfulness.
Not because we deserve it, not because we earned it, but because you gave it.
Because Jesus paid a price to wash us clean that you see us as righteous.
You see us without spot or wrinkle when we know that we’re far from that, Father.
You see us washed with the blood of Jesus.

Instruction…

And you say, “Come, come, come to Me. Boldly come to My throne.”

Response…

And so we do that today. We see ourselves the way you see us: righteous, holy, without spot or wrinkle.
We see the gifts, the callings, the potential that you’ve put into us.
And we come also humbly, Father, and we say, “Oh, how we need you.”
Holy Spirit, we need the breath of your life, of wisdom, of insight, of boldness, of strength, of peace, of comfort.
We put our eyes on you today.

Instruction…

Just take your eyes off of yourself now. Off of every situation, every problem you might be trying to figure out.
Just lay it at His feet now.
Like an offering, you just leave it there. We’re to cast our cares onto Him because He cares for us.

Response…

And so we do that. Just like little children, we just come running to you. And we just know that you are big enough and good enough to fix all of our problems.
And so we see you now as that good, good Father wanting to scoop us up in your arms. Hug us, kiss us, and make it all better, and tell us, “Everything’s going to be okay. I have a plan.”
And so we just remind our hearts of that today, that our good Father is holding us, that He has a plan.
And we put our trust back into that, Father, not into our own knowledge or our own striving or figuring things out or other people’s plans.
We put our trust back into your plan, your goodness, your power.
That you’re big enough, strong enough, wise enough, loving enough to take care of everything that we have on our plate right now.
That before we even run to you, you already had an answer.
You already walked out before us and prepared the way.
And so now we just come to you knowing that you have a roadmap.
You’ve already put everything we need within our hand’s reach.
You’ve already equipped us for every battle that waits along the way as long as we just stay close to you.
And so we do, Father. We stay close to you.
We remind ourselves that we have the Living God living inside of us, working upon us, working around us, working in the spirit realm to turn around things in the natural realm.
If God be for me, who can be against me? I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Thank you, Father, for your goodness.

Exhortation…

I speak peace over every heart, over every mind.

Instruction…

And I know a lot of people are struggling and trying to figure things out or walking through really difficult things right now, but just bring it to Dad. Bring it to your Father. Just know that He has an answer. Crawl up in His lap and just know that He’s going to make everything work out for your good.
But you have to trust. He has to be your all in all.

Response…

So we do that, Father. Thank you for loving us like no one else can.
Some of us, you were faithful before we even knew you, but you knew us.
You saw us, and you had a plan.
And so today, we thank you for that plan.
We thank you for the story that you’re writing about us.
And if we’ve gotten off of some of those pages, Father, you just bring us back.
Bring us back to your heart, to your will, to your way.
We just fasten ourselves to your plan.
You knew us before you even created us in our mother’s womb, you knew us.
Just think of what kind of love that is, that knew you before you even came to be.
Thank you, Father, that you know the number of hairs on our head.
You know every turning of our heart, our rising up and our laying down.
And you say that you love us like you love Jesus. You see us like you see Jesus—righteous, holy.
You created us in your image.
You made us your dwelling place, that you don’t dwell in buildings.
You chose to dwell in us, that you chose to make us your temple.
We say thank you, Father, for living in us, for dwelling with us, for abiding with us.

Prayer if repentance…

Forgive us if we’ve ever taken that for granted or just got in our head about situations and talked to a bazillion people and researched a bazillion ways to fix a problem before we ever talked to you.
I repent for that. I’ve done that.
So we just come back now.

Prayer of adoration…

We come back to knowing that we have the Holy One living inside of us…
Our Creator, the wonderful Counselor, our Father, our Friend, the Lover of our soul, our Savior, the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, the Revealer of things.
That you’ve given us the ability to be in communion with you, be in fellowship with you.
You say, “Come, let us plead together,” that we can work in cooperation with you, Father.
That there’s no problem that you haven’t given us an answer or a way of escape.
So we thank you for that, Father.
We remind our souls today that we are well-loved, we are held, we are safe.
We are loved with an unconditional, everlasting love.
You loved us first. You chose us first.
The Bible says we didn’t choose you, you chose us.
And so today we say thank you for choosing us, for saving us in every sense of the word.
So we bring our hearts back to that… to that knowing, to that trusting, to that abiding.
We worship you because you’re so worthy.
It’s our reasonable service. It’s like the bare minimum that we could do, Father, is to worship you because you’re so good.
We worship you from a heart of thankfulness today.
We say thank you for your faithfulness.
You’re so good, and we love you so much.
We just magnify your goodness today.
We magnify your faithfulness.
We magnify who you are today.
You are beautiful in every way. Everything you do is good. Everything you do is right.
We don’t have to understand. We just have to trust. We just have to worship.
We just have to obey and know that you have the plan, you have the way.
Your ways are not like our ways.
Our ways are limited. Our ways are shortsighted, but you see the end from the beginning.
You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
Just think of that intelligence that we have, that wisdom, that insight, that at any time we can ask the Creator of the universe, “Hey, can you help me figure this out?”
So why would we worry?
Why would you be troubled, O my soul? When the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, the Holy Spirit is living and breathing and dwelling inside us and among us.
Nothing is too difficult for Him.
Nothing, nothing, nothing.

Prayer of faith and trust in Him…

Faithful and true. There’s no shadow of turning in You.
You are the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The Commander of angel armies is on our side.
We put things into perspective today.
And those problems that felt like mountains are under our feet when we put our eyes back on You.
When we seek first the Kingdom of God.
And so we do that today.
And all those problems grow dim when we put our gaze upon You, Jesus.
We just make you big in our hearts.
We put you back up on the throne of our hearts, on the throne of every situation, on the throne of our days.
You are high and lifted up. You reign above it all.

Question to Holy Spirit…

Holy Spirit, what do you want to pray today? What do you want to say today? We just yield our hearts, our mouths, our minds to you now.

Answer: Keep looking to Him, trust Him…

I just hear Him saying, “Eyes back on Me. Bring your eyes back on Me now. I’ve got it all worked out, little one. Just trust Me. Trust Me.”
And it might feel like things are shaking, it might feel like things are uncertain, but I have a plan, so trust Me, I hear Him say.
I never said you wouldn’t have trials and tribulations, but I did say that I’ve overcome the world.
Yeah, so put your trust back in Me now.
Don’t put your trust in situations.
Don’t put your trust in the world.
Don’t put your trust in temporary things that are fleeting, here today, gone tomorrow.
Put your trust in Me, for I am the everlasting rock.
I am immovable.
I am the same yesterday and today and tomorrow, I hear Him say.
I am immovable, I hear Him say.
Immovable. So when things are shaking, get your feet on the rock.
Trust that I have a plan that’s bigger than you.
And I will bring things to come to pass when the time is right.
So keep your eyes on Me now. Things are moving, things are shaking, things are happening.
And I need you to be in the place where I need you to be, I hear Him say.
And it might not always be comfortable. But it will be full of My presence and full of My power.
And what is comfort anyways, but a sense of everything being well, everything being good?
And I will bring that comfort, for I am the comforter, I hear Him say.
Everything is melting away. Everything is fleeting. Everything else is temporary, shifting sand.
So come back now to My purpose. Come back now to My plan, to My way, which is greater than your way, I hear Him say.
And I will be with you every step of the way, every step of the way.
I’ve never left you, and I never will.
But instead of kicking and screaming and pulling and pushing and being stubborn, just come with Me. Come with Me. Go with the flow now. Go with the flow now. Trust that I have a plan, and you don’t have to understand that plan.
But if you go willing, it’s so much easier.

Response…

Oh, help us, Jesus, to be willing, to go when we don’t know, to go with your flow.
Even when we don’t know.
Because you know. You’re the all-knowing one.
How silly of us to think that we know better than you. Or to demand our way over your way, Lord.
Oh, show us, show us, show us to lean into your way.
To not lean into our understanding, but to lean into your way.
To flow with your way.
To flow in the Spirit.
To go the supernatural way.
Because that’s where the power is.
That’s where the peace is.
And that’s where the battle is… in the supernatural realm, in the spiritual realm.

Father’s instruction…

So eyes off the natural now.
Eyes off circumstances.
Eyes off the news.
Eyes off what your neighbor is saying.
Eyes off the economy, your bank account, what your doctor says.
No, eyes on Him now. Eyes on Jesus.

Response…

Yes, we seek first the kingdom of heaven. And you’ll take care of all these things.

Instruction…

Keep asking. Keep knocking.
Because your Father is a good Father.
If you ask for an egg, will He give you a serpent? No. He’s a good Father.
He gives good gifts. Good gifts.
So keep asking, keep knocking, keep seeking.
