Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Pastor Ken…
My name is Ken, and it’s good to have you guys here in the chapel this morning. I hope you had a great Mother’s Day weekend. Welcome and happy Monday to everyone. Good to have you with us today.
Prayed…
We thank you, Lord, that you’ve already gone ahead of us on this week in May of 2026.
We declare a way has been made for us to advance as the sons and daughters of the most high God.
We declare advancement, promotion, furtherance’s into the plan of God.
…in the progression of our miracles and signs and wonders that you are unfolding in our midst, Lord, even in our bodies, in our minds, in our relationships, in our finances, in our churches and ministries and businesses.
We declare, Father, that we will rise in your goodness.
We are going from one degree of glory to a whole nother degree of glory this week.
We will not be denied, but we will glorify you.
For you have called us to be platforms from which you can put on display the goodness of your redemptive work.
A decree of strength over the church…
I just speak strength over you this morning.
If you’ve been feeling feeble or famished in your physical or emotional, maybe mental strength, maybe spiritually, whatever the case may be, I just decree, may the anointing of God the Holy Spirit be released upon them.
May their spirit lives be strengthened and edified and built up supernaturally in the name of Jesus.
I decree, Father, where people are flagging in their faith, I speak encouragement. I speak connection today.
Connect people where they are discouraged.
Connect them to their courage, that they would see the vision, that they would be reminded of the promise, that they would be stirred in their faith regarding your faithfulness and goodness and follow through.
I speak strength emotionally.
I speak strength physically.
I speak strength to relationships.
I speak strength to our stance today, Lord, that we would stand strong.
And as your Word says, Lord, after we’ve done all that we know to do to stand, because there’s some listening to me right now, Lord, they’ve done all that they know to do to stand.
I pray, Lord, may the wind of heaven blow upon their souls, upon their spiritual legs, and cause them to stand and continue to stand even after they’ve done all that they know to do to stand, that they would stand, that they would see the goodness of God come through for them in every way, even today, even this week, in new and unexpected ways.
A word came forth: Answers are coming…
Yes, Lord, I just decree blessings be released, answers come forth and materialize.
Yes, Father, help cometh now to you, even where you don’t realize it.
In fact, I sense that God has some answers and some solutions and some divine shifts and changes that are coming to you today that you don’t even realize that you need. That you think the answer’s over here. You think the answer is “doing more.” But the answer actually is coming through spiritually, and may come through human agency, like a boss or a spouse, or a child, or somebody unexpected who shows up and makes a change or makes a decision that for some might even seem like, “What? That doesn’t sound good to me.”
But just trust Him. Trust Him in the middle of this. Trust Him in the chaos. Trust Him in the unknown and where you don’t see a way forward. Just say, “Lord, I trust you, that you’ve got my best interests at heart and in mind, even through my boss or my supervisor or a spouse or a situation where somebody’s in leadership or a decision-making capacity. Lord, we just trust you that you are working in the details. You are working in the midst of what we don’t understand or see, and you are working things out for our good.”
Decree regarding setbacks…
Even setbacks. I declare where you’ve experienced a setback, I declare in the name of Jesus, may that work out in just the right way. I declare that over you in Jesus’ name.
Word came forth: Don’t settle for less—expect more
There’s more. Don’t settle. Don’t get satiated because you’ve experienced a little breakthrough. Expect that God is pouring on more. More, more. There’s more grace. There’s more supply. There’s more purpose and assignment for you to step into. You’ve not come to the end. You’ve not exhausted all of it. There is no exhausting of the goodness and the purpose of God.
So just say, “Lord, I am available for more.” Lord, we’re available for more today. We’re not going to settle. We expect that you are pouring on “the more.” More of your glory, more of your goodness, more answers, more revitalization, more breakthrough, more strength.
Word for someone who is settling…
Oh, there’s somebody, I feel like you’ve been settling for your current physical state. You’ve experienced a breakthrough. You’ve received a little healing, and you’re like, “Oh, this is better.” Oh, but God has more. Expect the “more-ness” of God to deliver and set you free entirely, where you are perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
And that means physically. The provision of Jesus brings total healing, a complete restoration, complete obliteration of cancer cells and broken parts in your body, and things that are out of joint, and pain in your muscles or tissues or rashes on skin. I speak the healing mercies of Jesus over you. A complete work! I decree a complete work over you and yours, a complete work over your physicality. No more putting up. No more adjusting your expectations to say, “Oh, I can put up with this.” No, there is so much more.
Declaration of His more-ness and goodness…
So, Father, we declare your more-ness today. We declare your goodness today. We declare advancement today. We declare progression today
…in the plan of God
…in the goodness of God
…in the healing virtue of Jesus
…in the power of your hand
Father, by the anointing to work miracles, to remove burdens, to destroy yokes, to do what no man can do on his or her own, but only you can do. In Jesus’ name.
Exhortation: “Don’t grow weary in well doing”
So let me just add this this morning. I just have to add this. And that is, don’t grow weary in well-doing. And I understand when you’re in the thick of things, when you have pain in your body, when something has not changed for the umpteenth time, when the dream hasn’t come through, when you’re still looking at a very limited balance in your checking account, whatever the case might be, or the impossibility of a situation in the midst of your business or your ministry, understand we are in a war.
Yes, the war’s rigged in our favor. In other words, we’ve won. And we can declare the victory even at the beginning of the fight. Because you and I are more than conquerors through Him who loved us, right? So we’re in a rigged situation, a rigged fight. Fight the good fight, the Bible says, of faith. Lay hold on eternal life.
And so I just want to encourage you…
If you’re struggling, and maybe God forbid, but hey, we know the Devil. He’s got nothing new. And even for some, he might be tempting you to give up, throw in the towel, compromise. “I guess I’ll just get by with this deal.” Or maybe even, like, “Maybe I just want to go to heaven early.” Because of how you feel or what it looks like or what’s not happened or what’s going on around you that’s out of your control and quite chaotic. I understand. The Lord Himself can identify and is empathetic toward us because He took on human flesh and knows how easily we can be tempted and how we feel.
But let me just stir your faith this morning to remember that this is all rigged in your favor, that you can say, “No, I am not going to be governed by and controlled at how I feel or think or the decisions I make based on what’s going on around me or what hasn’t happened up until this point or what somebody did to me or the pain I feel in my body.” I empathize. I understand. It’s real.
But can I just tell you that while the fact of the situation is real, there is something (excuse my English) that’s “realer.” There’s something that trumps facts and that’s truth. And the truth of the matter is, if you don’t grow weary in your believing, in your stance on the promise, and you’ll continue to lean into Him and believe and hope.
And guess what?
Hope is a blueprint. It is what you look at so that you’re more informed by what the truth of His promise says than the circumstances and the symptoms and how you feel. Because God is coming through for you. You may not feel it. You cannot see it maybe. But He’s coming through for you. So…
Continue to keep your faith engaged.
Continue to use your words.
Choose and use your words. They release life and healing. They can also release other things we know.
Choose to use them to release victory today.
Choose to use them to release the promises of God today.
Choose to use them in the spirit to rise instead of fall back.
The Bible says…
“He who prays in an unknown tongue edifies and rises him or herself.” Rises! Not falls back. Rises. The Old Testament prophesies of this great devotional gift of speaking in other tongues when it says, “Very well then, with foreign lips and a strange tongue will I speak to this people to whom I’ve said, ‘This is the refreshing. This is the place of repose or replenishment.’”
So I just encourage you, be one who chooses your will to say, “This is how it’s going to go today. I may not feel it, it may not look like it, but guess what? It’s all rigged in my favor according to the Book.” His Book!
Quote from Dutch Sheets…
Let me read something to you really quick. I’ve read this before, but I was pouring over it again this morning and I thought, “Gosh, I think I need to read this. If you don’t get anything out of it, I’m going to read it to myself.” But Dutch Sheets shared this back in March.
He said…
“It comes as a surprise to many Christians when they hear that the basic concept behind intercession does not necessarily have to do with prayer. The English word basically means to go between.”
So this might apply to somebody who feels hopeless about a situation in your family or in our nation or whatever, that the enemy’s going to do his best to get us to give up. He’s going to try to do his best to get us to flag in our faith, to back off.
But God is saying, “No. Lean in all the more,” because when all of hell is breaking forth, that means your answer’s on its way. And that things are beginning to materialize and the forces of darkness are really nervous and shaking in their boots. Because they know the answer is tried and true and coming through for each of us where we’re believing Him for it.
“Mediation is one of its intercession synonyms. Intercession is used in the context of prayer because when interceding for someone, or perhaps for a place, we are the go-between—between them and God—mediating for them with our prayers.”
To be in the midst of the messy middly…
Wow, what an amazing opportunity! To go between, to go in the midst of the messy middle of what’s going on in our nation, churches, lives, households, and stand up for what’s just and right, and contend so that God gets His way in lives and nations, et cetera.
He says…
“What many more Christians don’t realize, however, is that our intercession on behalf of individuals and places is not just heavenward going between them and God. But it is also placing ourselves between them and the powers of darkness.”
Don’t get it mixed up. If you don’t see anything changing with a loved one or a situation. In fact, maybe it goes further south. Stay in there. Stay in the middle. And remind the Lord and put the enemy in his place through the power of binding and loosing, and wielding your sword of the spirit, and professing the blood of Jesus.
He says…
“Intercession, therefore, involves two very different activities. One, a reconciling, a connecting, becoming a bridge in order to unite individuals with God and His blessings. The other is a separating, a breaking, a disuniting from Satan’s influence.”
So in other words, intercession as we pray, we’re dislodging darkness and the enemy’s tactics and deception and lies and strongholds. We’re detaching and disuniting them from people’s lives. In addition, we’re being a bridge in prayer to give people an opportunity to walk across and step into the goodness and favor and salvation of the Lord.
He goes on to say…
“These two opposite activities are what Christ did for us through His work of redemption.”
Ooh, isn’t that good? Isn’t that beautiful though? Prayer really is a mirror of what Jesus did for us through His redemptive work. He broke the stronghold the Devil had over humanity. And He became the door. He said, “I am the door. All those who walk through me through relationship and acceptance of my work,” Jesus said, “they will find freedom and forgiveness and salvation and forever fellowship with the Father once again.” Which was always God’s plan.
And that’s what prayer, intercession, does. It breaks enemy strongholds so people can be free and cross that bridge of salvation into a whole nother reality—a reality of God’s goodness and sonship and becoming a part of the Father’s family.
