Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Worship leader Goke…
Hello, good morning and welcome to morning prayer. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord.
Our God is good and His mercy endures forever. Can you say that with me? For the Lord is good. And His mercy endures forever. Let’s say it again. For the Lord is good. And His mercy endures forever.
Oh, we can say it a little louder. For the Lord is good. And His mercy endures forever.
All right, we’re going to say it three times now. Can we do that? One, two, three, let’s go. For the Lord is good. And His mercy endures forever. X3
We give thanks to the Lord because He is good, and His mercy endures forever. Hallelujah.
Prayed…
Father, we come this morning with thanksgiving. We enter into your gates with thanksgiving, into your courts with praise. We’re giving thanks to you, and we’re blessing your holy name, ministering unto you because you are good, and your mercy endures forever.
We love you, Lord, because you first loved us. And our worship is just a response to you saying we love you too. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Hallelujah. Oh, to you, Lord, is the lifting up of our hands and our voices and of our lives, declaring that you are good. Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah.
Prayer leader Cindy led praise…
I could sing of His goodness forever!
Lord, thank you that you fill our mouths with good things.
We speak out and express your will and your purpose which are always good, giving us an expected end.
We thank you that you are the embodiment and the definition of good.
And you created us and said, “It is very good.”
And you created us in an inhabitable world of goodness.
That we would reign and rule with you.
And He said, “Very good.” Thank you, Lord.
For your Word is good, and it is the joy and the rejoicing of our hearts.
And the goodness and the mercy that you’ve extended and we’ve obtained.
Now we find abundance of grace, grace upon grace upon grace.
Because it’s all about your goodness toward us.
Yet while we were sinners, you died.
And because we have your love is because you loved us first.
And you’ve deposited your love in us, that we would release it into this world.
Thank you, Father, for your goodness, that you are good.
I thank you that you are who you are.
Lord, if you never did anything more for us, we would praise you forever because you are good, you are perfect, you are holy.
Thank you that you have made a way for us to boldly enter into your presence.
Your body was torn on that cross, and the veil that separated us from the Father was torn from the top to the bottom.
You said, “Now boldly enter in. Enter into My presence. I love you, and I paid to get you back there.”
So now, Father, it doesn’t matter what baggage we have.
We release that baggage.
And we run into the Father’s arms where we belong on that mercy seat because of what Jesus did.
Thank you, Lord, and our hearts truly do cry, “Abba Father. Abba Father. Abba Father.”
And our ears are attentive to hear what you’re saying and what you’re showing us because Jesus is our salvation.
He is the head of the body.
And whatever He is saying, we listen and we do it.
We do those things because He is well-pleasing to the Father.
And we’re well-pleasing in Christ Jesus.
Mary said, “Whatever He says, just do it.”
We don’t have to be super smart. We just have to hear you.
And we’ve been granted access into your presence. And we hear you.
And we release the love that you’ve given us.
We release the words that you’ve given us.
We do those things that you have showed us to do.
The witness of men… people stand with the witness of men, but the witness of God is greater.
It’s a greater witness. It’s a defying everything witness.
Our confidence, our boldness comes from the love that you have for us.
And the things that you’ve invested in us to be an expression of you in the earth.
A doorway for your presence.
A doorway for your astounding and amazing grace to flood the earth in experiential knowledge of bringing others into the presence of the Father’s love.
That they would taste, touch, and feel, and see, and experience for themselves the love of God that never fails.
You’re never going to let us down.
And I was like, “Lord, one word from you and we can step out into a place where it looks like it’s never going to work out.”
But one word from you is filled with love.
Love for us and coming through us.
So we will not fail.
We will not stumble.
You uphold us.
You maintain us in what we are doing in being directed by your Spirit.
We live in the Spirit.
We speak in the Spirit.
We’re strengthened by your Spirit.
The strong spirit of a man sustains him even through those things that would be injury or infirmity or even a fiery furnace.
We’re with Jesus. Not even smelling of smoke.
We come out ruling and reigning.
So bringing glory to your name before all kinds of authorities.
Earthly… must come to the knowledge of who is truly among us, who is in us, coming through us.
Thank you, Father, for your grace. Thank you, Lord, that you get the glory. You get the glory.
The eternal glory that you had, you’ve given to us.
We release the glory into the earth!
That they would know you.
Come into the arms of the Father.
The eternal life is to know you, the one true God, and that power outflowing from your resurrection.
So we wait for and earnestly expect your coming because we’re here doing those things you working in us.
You’re working in us, both to will and to do.
Heart directives, heart flowing, outflowing.
Your bride on the earth with our lamps lit, full of oil.
You make our faces to shine.
You give our hearts strength.
You enable and equip us to do everything.
Because we’re boldened by faith and the love that never fails.
Thank you, Lord. You are a merciful God. The gift of life.
We didn’t deserve it.
I wasn’t even looking for it, but you found me and you drew me out of deep waters.
Put my feet upon a rock.
Lord, it’s your goodness. It’s your goodness that leads man to repentance.
You came to seek and save that which was lost.
Thank you, Lord, that I was lost, but now I’m found, found in you.
Thank you, Lord, that others too can be found in you, because we were created to know you.
We were created for your purpose, for your will.
We just thank you, Father, for the restoration of purpose and destinies in those that are being in the currents of dark waters.
Thank you that you can reach in and save them.
Because your arm is not short and that it cannot save.
We just ask, Father, for the heathen.
We ask for those that are outside, that they would see a great light through your church.
We have this light in our earthen vessel that the grandeur and the exceeding greatness would be shown to be from you. We’re just saying shine through your church today. Shine. Make known the goodness of God.
The goodness of God which leads man to repentance.
Turning away from all that would distract to the author and the finisher.
And thank you for doing some finishing today for that which you began.
You said, “It is finished.” Already finished.
So, Father, we enter into the finished work of God.
And we receive today everything that you planned and purposed.
For your joy, we’ll walk it out.
You said, “For the joy of the Lord.”
For the joy, you endured that cross, despising and rejecting the shame and the vitriol and all that you went through for the purpose of seeing us walking free where we are meant to be.
In you and you alone, giving glory to you, for you purchased us back from death.
Translated us out of the kingdom of darkness into the son of your love.
And right now, our hearts are saying, “Abba Father. Abba Father.”
Thank you, Jesus, for you are so good.
I thank you, Lord, that every day you’re revealing more and more of your goodness.
It will never end.
You are awesome and wonderful, and I look forward to getting to know you more and more every day for all of eternity.
So do your good work through your church.
