Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Good morning, everyone. How are y’all doing today on this Wednesday?

I have it in me that we’re going to pray about some things in regard to these days and what lies ahead of us and the church and awakening across our nation. So get ready. We need everybody to be involved here this morning, because God is at work in our praying.

Ezekiel 22:30…

I want to share with you a scripture found in Ezekiel 22:30. It’s good to start with the Word, isn’t it? The Word is our platform. It’s our foundation from which we pray. We stand on God’s Word. We stand on His promises. We have confidence in what He has said and what He said should be so.

And Ezekiel 22:30, God says in this passage, “And I sought a man among them, who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land that I should not destroy it. But I found none.” My prayer is that that would not be the case in our generation, in our day, in our church, that He would find a man, a woman. And that that would be us.

Let’s ask the Lord to help us to level up…

I found myself driving back from yet another volleyball game for my daughter, just three in a row, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday this week. And it was out of town. And I found myself driving back last night just praying and lifting things up in my heart to the Lord and just really feeling prompted that… And I’m just sharing this to challenge you to do the same if you aren’t already. And that is simply to just invite the Lord to expand you on the inside and to help us, as a people to pray, to help us to level up or be promoted in our level of discernment, to help us to be more accurate and effective in our praying, to be more aligned and synchronized with the Spirit of prayer.

God wants to leverage our prayers…

Because, without a doubt, God wants to leverage our prayers. He wants to leverage our voices to this generation, to the land we call America, or whatever country you find yourself in. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. God, for whatever reason, chose to do what He does to accomplish His will, to perform His intentions through humanity, through the church.

That involves us.

So I challenge you to talk to Him plainly regarding your prayer life, regarding your desire to be involved and to be more effective, to be more accurate in what He would have you to do individually and collectively.

Commentary for “stand in the gap…”

There’s a commentary on Ezekiel 22:30 that says Ezekiel 22:30 is the primary biblical reference for the phrase “stand in the gap.” In this verse, God is searching for someone to intercede on behalf of a nation that has fallen into sin and is facing destruction. And I believe, at some level, that’s America. The imagery of standing in the gap suggests a person positioning themselves between God’s wrath and the people pleading for mercy and forgiveness.

And so that’s my desire for us to do today as the Holy Spirit leads and guides us. So be responsive to Him. Give Him permission to express Himself through you… through your known language… through your unknown language. That would be tongues.

God is searching, and God is listening for those who would yield themselves to Him, make themselves available. I want to make myself available to Him. I want Him to pour Himself through me. Yes, in my actions… yes, in what I do daily but also in prophecy and in inspired prayer. Which has on it, the spirit of prophecy.

Prayed…

And so, Father, we thank you this morning for your faithfulness. We thank you, Lord, that you have in mind something that you want to accomplish through us today. We stand up and say we want to stand in that gap. We want to build up the hedge. We want to call out to heaven. We want to call out and invite you into our generation, into our cities, and our nation, and our churches, and our families and households, that you would truly have your way in this time.

Worship leader Kathy…

There’s something I want to say that really keeps rising up on me. I’m sensing there’s at least a few people that are struggling to jump into this stream that’s already going on because you’re discouraged by what you’re seeing, right? Maybe there’s a long-term family thing. Maybe it’s the world around you. Maybe it’s just watching the news. Whatever it is, right?

David learned how to encourage himself…

But the Bible verse that keeps coming to mind is that David encouraged himself in the Lord. Well, David was a worshiper, so I believe that one of the ways he did that was to sing all of those songs that he knew. So we’re going to throw off that discouragement, and we’re going to worship the one who already knows what’s going on, already has a plan for it all, who’s not up on His throne worried and fretting and wondering what to do. He already has a plan. He already knew what was going to happen. He knew the days we were living in. He knew what’s going on with our families. He knew all of that. And He is not freaking out about any of it.

So sometimes we need to remind ourselves the kind of God we serve. And we just need to bless Him. And we just need to worship Him. And so we’re going to do that this morning.

As we seek His face, He’s here in this place. There’s that verse in First Chronicles that talks about if we seek His face, revival comes, the nation turns, families turn around. We can’t look for revival in another place. It’s only found in Him. Some have tried to manufacture it. It’s not going to work. It’s not going to last. It’s found where He is. There’s revival in His presence. As we seek His face, He is here. There is nothing like the presence of the Lord.

Pastor Ken…

Let me share with you a passage from Malachi4:2. It says, “But for you who fear my name,” one translation says “Worshipfully fear my name.” “The son of righteousness will arise with healing in his wings, and you will go free leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.”

Decree that the healer is in the house…

I want to speak and declare over you this morning. I want to start here. If you’re in need of healing physically, if you’re in pain, if you’re suffering from some symptoms, if you’ve recently received a negative doctor’s report in some way, however small or significant that report was, I want to announce to you this morning that the healer is in this house. And His name is Jesus. And according to this prophetic passage, He brought healing with Him in His wings. And that His desire and will and full payment through redemption made available to us, allows us to go free from those symptoms and that sickness.

And so, Father, we come to you. We thank you, Father, that your promises are yes and amen. We thank you, Lord, that you are faithful, that your anointing has not waned or diminished, not one bit. And that your anointing is flowing right now. Heaven’s flow is here.

And for all of those who are experiencing symptoms, who have received a negative report, who have a cancerous growth, who are dealing with neuropathy, who are dealing with neurological issues, Parkinson’s disease, arthritis, fibromyalgia… I call you out in the name of Jesus! I say in the name of Jesus, let the light of God, let the power of God shine on you and expose you.

I pray, Lord, that your anointing and your healing virtue would be a sign to every last one online and in this chapel this morning, dealing with something physically. I speak to it on the authority of the name of Jesus, and I command the healing virtue of the Lord Jesus Christ to penetrate that part of their being and their physicality to address that need.

I command cancer cells to die right now in the name of Jesus. If there are cancer cells in your body, if there’s unregulated, unwarranted growths of some kind, I curse them at the root right now in Jesus’ name.

Every viral infection, I command you right now under the name of Jesus and by the blood of Jesus, you cease and desist and you begin to diminish and go in Jesus’ name.

Every diabolical, emotional attack, every diabolical and devil-inspired attack on minds, on souls, on wills, on emotions… Somebody woke up today and you just feel dreadful, like, “Where did this come from? Why do I feel depressed? Why am I ideating suicide or quitting in some way?”

I speak to that today, and I command you under the sound of my voice in this chapel online, I command you to stop it, Devil! You get under our feet now in Jesus’ name. Go! Loose that one that you’ve tried to harass in their soul. Loose them! Go! Be released! I decree freedom over the household of faith. I decree freedom over this place today over your heart, over your life today.
