Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Sister Jeannie…

Good morning! I just love these people here because we’ve been praying before the clock started and they joined right in. Thank you for coming. I’m Jeannie. That’s my husband at the keyboards.

God is working…

Thank you, Father, for today and that you are who you are. No matter what anyone else says, no matter what anyone else does, regardless of what it looks like, you are working. Your plan is being played out. Holy Spirit have your way today.

Is your fatigue talking?

So we were praying with some friends yesterday and they’re going to be getting test results from the doctor today. And so we were going over a few things and they’ve been dealing with some health issues for a long period of time right now in other areas. And it occurred to us as we were praying that fatigue was talking. You know what it’s like when fatigue starts talking to you. So if you’re feeling discouraged or afraid… I’m actually going to read a text that we sent to them. It encourages me.

If it drains you, it’s not God…

“Remember, if it drains you, doesn’t encourage or uplift, it’s not God. It’s just fatigue talking.”

I remember Pastor Ray would say that to me: “If it drains you, it’s not God. It’s just fatigue talking.” Sometimes it’s the enemy. Many times it is. Sometimes it’s just fatigue. Sometimes you’re just tired. But we know that in our weakness, He’s strong.

Deut. 32:13, suck honey out of the rock…
And then He gave me a scripture that I’d never, ever heard of. It is Deuteronomy 32:13. Let’s read it in the Amplified. This is the second part of it. “And he made them suck honey out of the rock and oil out of the flinty rock.” Even in the hard places, we can suck the goodness out of it. God causes us to just like… We have that like not the sucking sound that when you walk in the room and people have that sucking sound… not that kind. The kind that says, “God, here’s a hard place. You are causing me to get the honey out of it. You’re causing me to get the oil of gladness out of it.”

And why would He do that? Because He knows that the hard place is about to change. He knows that He’s good and He knows about His plan and He knows that these things shall pass. When we go through tough times, it’s so good to have the foundation of His plan planted in your heart. The foundation of His promises planted in your heart. The foundation of His plan for the cities in Minnesota planted in your heart. You cause us to suck honey from the rock. I just love how He can sound kind of weird sometimes.

There’s honey in the hard places…

Father, we love you. It’s not optimism with you. It’s the truth. The truth that frees us. The truth that says, “Do you see that hard place? There’s honey in that hard place. There’s sweet things in that hard place. And you’re causing me to get the sweet things out of the hard place.”

Psalm 65:11, You crown the year with a bountiful harvest…

Let’s do another one. Psalm 65:11. “You crown the year with a bountiful harvest, even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy. The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep, and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy.”

We declare our land is healed…

We praise your name. We rest in the assurance of your plan… That your plan hasn’t changed… you haven’t changed your mind. You are healing our land. We declare our land healed. We get into the flow of the Holy Ghost. We keep and set our minds on your promises and your goodness. Even the hard places overflow with abundance… we contend and put pressure on that promise right now. We let the pressure of that promise put pressure on the hard places. You overflow with abundance. You overflow with healing. We go from the mundane to the miraculous right now. Even in prayer, we go from the mundane to the miraculous.

We keep our minds on you. Father, even in that scripture, “hope deferred makes the heart sick.” You didn’t end there. You finished it with desire realized. We thank you that the desire is being realized. Your desire is being realized for Living Word… for prayer… for every plan… for every purpose. It has not changed. It’s not going to change. But we change. We change our focus. We change our words.

We expect miracles…

From the mundane to the miraculous. We expect miracles in this house… right now. We change our focus. That you always have the answer. We’re never left without answers… without support.

Have you ever wondered why joy strengthens? Because you need strength to get it done and run. You need strength to keep your word. You need strength to keep moving forward and be disciplined. The joy that we get from God strengthens us so that we can do all things in joy. So even now, if you’re tired, we keep our minds on Him. We let joy bring strength to every cell, to every thought. Strong thoughts, thoughts of strength and plan and purpose and promise.

We shout joyful praises to God. We sing about the glory of His name. We tell the world how glorious He is. We say to God, “How awesome are your deeds? Your enemies cringe before your mighty power.”

What are you doing to darkness?

I was listening to Lance Wallow the other day and he said, “Instead of thinking about what darkness is doing to you, start thinking about what you can do to darkness.” There’s the honey! There’s the joy in the battle, because we know we’ve already won. He doesn’t relax His hold on you. He doesn’t leave you without support.

I’m not waiting any longer…

Why did so many of the things that Jesus did come after a long, drawn-out trial? I don’t know. But they come. The Word says that He did so much that not even all of the books on earth could contain everything He did while He was here. Yet the things that He did do that made it into the Word for His people came after a long, drawn-out trial. And what’s even more compelling and poignant to me is the very first miracle. Think about this. The very first miracle where Jesus was going to be introduced on the scene, completely exposed as the miracle worker causing people to think, “Is He the one?” It happened when Mary said, “I’m not waiting any longer.”

I’ve got to have it now…

Do we have permission to say that? I think we do. Have we been religious about waiting? It says we’re to wait on the Lord and our strength is renewed. And we do. We minister to Him. We receive from Him. We give Him our thanks. We give Him our praise. And then we get to a place where we say like the woman with the issue of blood, “I’ve got to have it.”

The woman with the issue of blood broke the law…

Did you know the woman with the issue of blood broke the law to get it done? And then Jesus, He had to meet her. He called her daughter. Okay, now hear me by the Spirit. I’m not saying go rob a bank. Okay? But hear me by the Spirit. Mary, when Jesus said His time had not yet come, she had relationship with Jesus. She knew who Jesus was and she said, “Whatever He says to do, do it.” And you know it wasn’t the third miracle. It wasn’t the 10th. It was the first one! It was the one that was going to expose Him. And it was when Mary said, “Nope, it’s time.”

Father, what are the things in our lives right now where we have settled into the mundane, where we settled into status quo and somehow kind of been a little bit deceived thinking, “Well, I’m just going to be a good Christian and cope.” But you’re saying, “Rise up and say, I’m not waiting any longer. I’m expecting miracles today. I’m expecting breakthrough today. In fact, angels, whatever the Word says to do, you do it.”

The woman with the issue of blood, she was not only putting herself at peril, but according to Jewish law, she was putting other people at peril too. If they would’ve touched her with, they would’ve been considered unclean. But she had to have what she knew Jesus had for her. And nothing else mattered. The hyper focus of “Jesus, I am receiving all you are and all you have for me right now.” Think about that with Mary… the timing. If it didn’t happen now, it wouldn’t have mattered.

Holy Spirit, show us the things where you’re saying to us if it doesn’t happen now, it’s not going to matter. In fact, let’s pray into that now and out of the boldness of relationship and intimacy with Jesus, we can say “It’s time for things to turn. It’s time for things to move.” In fact, you already said it is finished on the cross.

If it has to do with school, if it has to do with a job, if it has to do with a relationship, if it has to do with something in your body or someone else’s body, if it has to do with a city, a library, a country, a province, Father, we thank you for your goodness right now in these situations from the mundane. Let’s move right now from the mundane where we’ve settled into… “Ahhh I’m just going to be a good Christian and cope.” We know that’s not God. And we suck the honey out of the hard places. He causes us.

I’m going to read it again from Deuteronomy 32:13. This is a kind of a nicer version. “He nourished them with honey from the rock and olive oil from the stony ground. Honey from the rock by the spirit from the stony ground. Okay, let’s go to the Amplified. Deuteronomy 32:13, “He made Israel ride on the high places of the earth. And he ate the increase of the field. He made him suck honey out of the rock and oil out of the flinty rock.” God caused His people to get the sweetest things out of the hard places.

We crush hope deferred, we crush fatigue…

Right now in the name of Jesus, we crush hope deferred. We crush fatigue and we allow ourselves for you to minister strength to us to rise up and to say, “Right now, things are turning. Right now, you’re healing our land.” If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and repent, I will hear from heaven and heal their land. It doesn’t end at “humble yourself and repent.” It ends at, “I will hear from heaven and heal their land.”

It is time to rise up and step out…

It is time. It is time for the winds. It is time to rise up, to expect miracles, to declare His goodness, to step out and see what He’s planned for you. That’s part of repentance, you know. Did you know that? Did you know that boldness is a part of repentance? The boldness to believe that you are who God says you are. The boldness to receive what God says is already yours. If you know you are who God says you are, and if you receive what God says you have, there’s your land healed. Is your land healed? Does your circumstance all of a sudden start to look way better because you changed your mind? Because you changed your vision. You think God thoughts. You see the way God sees. Your land starts to heal.

We repent of needless repenting…

Father, we repent today of needless repenting. And we repent for real. And we change our thinking. And, Father, we stop all this stupidness that you’ve been talking to us about for a long time… those old habits, maybe it’s habits of panic… maybe it’s habits of low self-esteem. Whatever those weirdo habits are that don’t lift you up, repent, and your land starts to heal. I’m so glad that’s all we have to do, aren’t you? Aren’t you relieved? I’m so relieved.

Did Jesus wink at Mary?

Revelation of what Mary saw that day, the first miracle when she said, “Whatever He says to do, do it.” Do you think Jesus winked at her? I don’t know. I kind of think He winked at her and said, “It’s not my time yet. Come on Mary. Tell me. Agree with Me that it’s now.” What if Jesus was just looking for some agreement?

I know I’m getting off on some theologies that you don’t agree with, and that’s fine. Just don’t put it on then. But it’s in the Bible! You can’t get away from the fact that it’s in the Word. Why is it in there?

And at a wedding! And because the church was out of wine. Because the church needed some Holy Ghost. And Mary’s like, “Oh no, we have to have Holy Spirit in this wedding. We have to!” And isn’t it amazing that Jesus not only cooperated with her unwillingness to wait, He gave the absolute best. Isn’t that something? Think about that for a minute. What if today you said, “Okay, this thing I’ve been waiting a long time to see this. I’m not going to wait anymore. In fact, I’m expecting the best. Oh… and this over here. I’ve been waiting a long time. But I’m expecting the best so much that other people notice.”

Let’s go! I’m not going to wait!

Do you remember that? It was the best wine to the degree that the in-laws had to say something about it. What about that? What if He is that good? What if He is that excited about what’s about to happen in your situation? He’s just waiting for you to say, “Let’s go. I’m not going to wait. I’m going with this. Let’s go for it.”

Father, we thank you that massive revival is coming…

Father, we thank you that those things that we have been believing for, we thank you that they are turning now. We thank you that the words that you’ve spoken over the Twin Cities, the massive revival is coming out of this area, that it’s already turning. And we thank you that it’s so incredible and amazing that even the in-laws notice the best wine… the best outpouring. We thank you for it. And we today say it’s time. It’s time. It’s time.
