Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Heather…

Good morning and welcome to prayer.

Magnification makes everything get bigger, more clear…

When you magnify His name, think of a magnifying glass. What happens? It makes it larger. It makes it come into focus. Everything around it becomes blurry, becomes small, but that one thing that you’re magnifying becomes clear, becomes big. And so when we magnify Him, our troubles are put in their proper place. Because compared to God, what are our troubles? They’re nothing. They’re like little ants, annoying ants, but they’re little ants. And when we exalt Him, when we magnify Him, we remember to put all those things in our lives in their proper place and to put Him on the throne of our hearts above every situation.

When you go thru hard stuff, that’s when you need to magnify Him…

And I know a lot of people are walking through a lot of stuff right now. And that’s when we magnify Him. That’s when we remember who our God is—the Creator of the universe. If God be for us, who could stand against us? Nothing and no one.

I want to read Psalm 34 out of the Amplified Classic…

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My life makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble and afflicted hear and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.
4 I sought (inquired of) the Lord and required Him [of necessity and on the authority of His Word], and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked to Him and were radiant; their faces shall never blush for shame or be confused.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe] and each of them He delivers.
8 O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.
9 O fear the Lord, you His saints [revere and worship Him]! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear.
10 The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing.
11 Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you to revere and worshipfully fear the Lord.
12 What man is he who desires life and longs for many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Depart from evil and do good; seek, inquire for, and crave peace and pursue (go after) it!
15 The eyes of the Lord are toward the [uncompromisingly] righteous and His ears are open to their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.
18 The Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for sin and are humbly and thoroughly penitent.
19 Many evils confront the [consistently] righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
20 He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall cause the death of the wicked; and they who hate the just and righteous shall be held guilty and shall be condemned.
22 The Lord redeems the lives of His servants, and none of those who take refuge and trust in Him shall be condemned or held guilty.

Worship, “magnifying the Lord…”

Hallelujah! Oh, magnify the Lord, and let us exalt His name together.
Just meditate on that. Magnify the Lord.
Let us exalt His name together.
Magnify. We magnify.
I will bless the Lord at all times.
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My life makes its boast in the Lord.
Magnify. So we magnify You, Father. We magnify You, Lord.
We will bless You.
Your praise will continually be in our mouths.
No matter what the enemy tries to bring, to distract, to pull down, whatever fiery darts are coming towards us, we say, “No. No, no, no. We will bless the Lord. We will magnify the Lord. We will exalt Him. His praise will continually be in our mouths.”
For we know who the conqueror is.
We know who wins the battle.
We know where we are seated. We are seated with Him in heavenly places.

Rebuke of the Devil…

And though the Devil roars like a lion and walks about, he’s seeking whom he may devour.
And we say, “No, you may not!”
You may not devour us.
You may not devour our families.
You may not devour our churches.
You may not devour our communities.
You may not devour our blessings.
You may not devour our health.
You may not devour our peace, our wellbeing, our peace of mind.
You may not! You may not! You may not!
Every assignment of the enemy is broken.
We break it now in Jesus’ name.
Over our lives, over our families, over our futures, over our finances, over our health, over our minds, over our churches, over our communities, the Lord shall reign.

Exalting the Lord in our lives…

We magnify Him. We exalt Him.
We put Him back in His rightful place now. King of Kings, Lord of Lords.
We refuse to cower at the roar of the enemy. No, no, no, no.
Be brave and courageous, for you have a Lion within you.
You have the power of the Holy Spirit within you.
Dynamite power. The power of the resurrected Lord within you.
That same power that raised Jesus from the dead is inside of you, living, dwelling, breathing.
So right now we say, “Be exalted, Lord. Be exalted.”
Your praise will continually be on our lips.
We have no reason to fear.
We have no reason to be downcast. No, no, no, no.
We lift Your name on high. You’re so good.
You’ve given us every blessing freely.
Freely, You’ve given us every blessing.
Oh, we thank You, Father.

Prayer of thanksgiving…

Yeah, so we quench every fiery dart of the wicked one now.
We thank You for the shield of faith.
We thank You for Your Word.
We thank You for the helmet of salvation.
We thank You, Father, for that armor that you’ve placed about every part of us every part of our body, every part of our lives you have protected.
And so we thank you for that today.
We thank you for the Holy Spirit living inside of us.
Oh, thank you, Holy Spirit. You guide, you direct, you speak, you pray on our behalf.
You are ever interceding before the Father on our behalf.
Jesus, we thank you. We are never without help. We are never alone.
Yes, so we exalt. We magnify your name, Father.
And thank you all so much for joining us today for morning prayer. We appreciate you. My name is Heather Sibinski. I’m one of the pastors here at Living Word.
