Welcome to prayer. I’m Jeannie. This is my husband, Mike, at the keyboards.
Holy Spirit changed what was on the docket for today based on the songs that Dave is going to be presenting. But Alan is also ready to do the object lesson.
So, Holy Spirit, thank you for being such a “funster.”
Fun can be a weapon…
You know He’s fun, right? Because fun is a weapon. And weapons, we wield to reinforce the win. Because Jesus finished it on the cross. So what do we do? We walk out that win. We are enforcers of the win, enforcing His kingdom here on earth. And we have the honor and the privilege to call things that are not as though they were.
Did you hear that? We’re already.
Okay, so here’s the deal. We will be declaring and decreeing to establish some things. And so I’m going to talk about a passage from the Word and we’re going to get some things established through worship. And that’s our foundation from which we are enforcing the win. Okay?
Prayed and declared…
So, Holy Spirit, you speak through us, you speak to us.
Your yoke is easy, and your burden is light.
I thank you for that, even right now.
In your precious name, Jesus, the name that is above all names, who is the Lord of Hosts, the Lord of angel armies.
Declaring things in Jesus’ name…
So when we declare and decree things in Jesus’ name, we do it in the name of the boss of all the angels! And He lives in us. The mystery of faith. Man, it just can’t help but make you smile.
Instruction to Alan for object lesson…
Alan’s already ready for the object lesson. Okay, come on up. So you can just stand here first. Just stand next to me.
Sharing revelation of Minister Nancy Dufresne…
I had a whole plan and then it changed this morning. I was listening to Nancy Dufresne; she shared a revelation of the scripture regarding taking up your cross to follow Jesus. The “bugaboo” scripture that brings down the room. And she said, “That scripture is framed within the concept of endurance.”
(Speaking to Alan) Like, go ahead, do this.
So you take up your cross, crippled, because you’re following Jesus. Look at you. Who wants to be this? I don’t want to follow Jesus, do you? Look at that. So I’m going to read it now. Alan can barely stand it. Stay there. Just stand up please now.
Here’s the scripture from Luke 9:23: “And he said to all, ‘If any person will…’” Now stay with me, because we’re going to get to the revelation. And then we’re going to pray from that place. But Dave’s going to keep going. Holy Spirit’s going to keep worshiping through Dave.
So, “And He said to all, If any person wills to come after Me, let him deny himself [disown himself, forget, lose sight of himself and his own interests, refuse and give up himself] and take up his cross daily and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also].” (AMPC)
Example of dying to self…
And really dying to ourselves. Dying to… Give the example again. Do that painful, awful role play. Yeah, go ahead. Go ahead.
Alan: “It’s heavy. I’m suffering. I don’t think I can bear it any longer.”
Jeannie: Okay, please stand up. This is what religion teaches us about that passage. That if you’re suffering, if you’re heavy burdened, if the yoke is heavy, if you literally feel like you’re dying, okay? That’s what religion says.
And then it says, “For whoever would preserve his life and save it will lose and destroy it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he will preserve and save it…” So Nancy said, “Look, that scripture, we daily take up His cross, and it lifts us up.” That’s what it means. We daily… So here’s the cross. It’s actually lifting Alan up because we daily take up His finished work. And how do we do that? We deny carnality. We deny our carnal thinking. Let’s do example one and example two.
Example one…
So example one is listening to your stupid carnal thinking, condemnation. That’s example one and religion. Okay?
Example two…
Example two is the truth, which lifts us up. So we deny anything that doesn’t line up with the Word, and the cross lifts us up and we follow Him.
When we do anything in our own strength, it becomes a heavy burden…
So, when we would try to preserve things in our own strength, it is going to be a heavy burden. When we pray for our country, when we pray for our state, for our families, for anything that concerns us in our own strength, it is a heavy burden.
When we take up the finished work, it lifts us…
But that’s not what the Word says. It says He preserves our lives. Every day we take up the cross, which is the finished work of Jesus. Jesus already took this for us. Now, daily, we do this by denying ourselves, by denying carnality. Because Pastor Dustin said it last night. In Romans 8, “Carnality is death.” That’s this. “The spirit is life.” That’s this. Before Dave gets started, I want you to listen to the worship from the perspective of daily. It’s a daily decision to take up the finished work and let it lift you. And then we’re going to soak in that revelation and declare and decree from that place.

Jeannie: Now let that sink in.

My fears are drowned in perfect love.

What does a child of God do?
Jeannie: Dave, just pause for a minute. So slave to fear. What does a child of God do? Takes up that cross and he walks right… He splits the sea and we walk right through it. The impossible, that is taking up the cross. Not this. Do that slave thing again. Anytime we interpret scripture and it does this, that’s not God.
If it drains you, it’s not God. Go ahead, Dave.

Jeannie: Let’s pray in the spirit.
We establish ourselves in your goodness, Father. We are established.
We continue to reinforce and agree with you that we are established in you, that the finished work has already been accomplished.
Out of survival mode, even as Pastor Ken was saying on Monday.
We go from survival to winning right now.
We enforce the win today. Because it’s already been finished.
The Lord instructed Jehoshaphat to praise…
Thank you, Father. We thank you, just like when Jehoshaphat feared and sought you first when it looked really bad. What did you instruct them? “Praise Me. Thank Me and watch Me perform My word. Watch My promises play out.”
The time has come that we see His goodness.
The acceleration, the accumulation of the declared Word.
It must come to pass. It must be performed. It must.
