Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Prayer leader DJ…

Good morning, everybody.

We started worshiping the Lord early because He wants our worship. One time, He said to me, “People starve Me from My worship.” Worship. Thanksgiving. Don’t starve the Lord from your worship and thanksgiving.

I saw a sign that said, “Before you ask for a need, get to know Him first.” Before you ask, know Him first. Let’s worship Him for a minute or two are.

They say when you start worshiping, the enemy flees. It’s all about worship. Worship brings healing. Receive your healing while you’re sitting here this morning. Receive your healing by worshiping Him.

We’re talking about worship today…

The Lord is speaking this morning through the worship. Fear not! For His name is holy. The Lord is my light. You see how outside there’s light? The light is shining. The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. I shall not be afraid. When evil men come against me, I will not be afraid. Fear not.

Word came forth about fear…

While we’re worshiping, the word coming to me is fear. When we get up, fear attacks our minds, fear of many things. I bet there are many people sitting here this morning, you have fear about something. Fear about your children. You ever worry about your children? Fear of money. Fear of good health. Fear of many things. But the Holy Spirit says this morning, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Tim.1:7)

Father, in the name of Jesus. I will fear no evil, for thou art with me.

Isaiah 41:20 says “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” This right hand. When somebody holds right hand, that means they’re strengthening us. They’re going to guide us, lead us. He’s talking about the Lord. “I will guide you. I will lead you with the right hand of my righteousness. So fear not.” Do whatever is in your heart, go and do it.

Parable of the talents…

He said, “I was afraid.” You know that story about the Parable of the Talents? A lord gave talents to three of his servants and then he want on a journey. Verse 15 says, “And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability…” When he came back, he asks, “What you did you do with my money?” Then is says, “He who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money.”

Fear kept him from doing anything…

The servant with the one talent said to his master, “I was afraid. I did nothing.” Why? He said, “I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground.” Then the master called him a “wicked and lazy servant.” The master said he gave him time, and he did nothing. You wasted time.” Didn’t you do anything? “Nope. I was afraid.”

Go get it!

But the Lord says to us, “Fear thou not, for I am with you.” I am in you. I will strengthen you. Go do it. Go get it done. Remember? The sign said, “Go get it.”

Fear thou not, for I am with you.
Do not be afraid.
I am your God.
I will strengthen you.
I will uphold you.
Fear thou not, for I am with you.
Do not dismay, for I am your God.

Keep worshiping. I will strengthen you. I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness. So fear thou not, for I am with you. Do not dismay, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness. So fear thou not. I am with you. Do not afraid, for I am your God.

Fear is like cancer…

What is fear about? Is this like cancer? Is it a financial problem? Is it marriage? What is the “fear thou not”?

The Holy Spirit is speaking through our worship this morning. Fear thou not. Fear not. When God is for you, who can be against you? Nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus.

Joshua, do not fear!

In the Book of Joshua, the Lord said to Joshua, “Be strong and very courageous. Do not be afraid.” He said, “My servant Moses is dead. Now you’re in charge. I command you,” he said, “Be strong and very courageous.” That means we do get weak sometime, from time to time in this life. But he’s trying to tell us, “Be strong.” He told him, “Have not I commanded you, be strong and very courageous. Let this book of the law,” which means this Word,” not depart from your mouth.” He said, “Speak this word.”

Speak the Word…

He said, “How do you become strong and stay strong?” Speak the Word! Let this book of the law… what did He say? In Joshua 1:8, He said, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

He said to not let the Word depart from your mouth. We are to meditate on it day and night.” Day and night means day and night… 24 hours. How do you do that? You put it inside of you and then speak back.

As He was with Moses, so He is with us…

We don’t need to fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind. Fear not. Have not I commanded you? As I was with Moses, I’m with you. Not only with you, I’m in you. He was with Moses, but He’s in us.

You know what? Jesus said so many times, “Fear not. Fear not.” Somebody took me to church for the first time in 1991. I didn’t know anything about God yet, but God had a plan for years. Long story short, the very first week, everybody left me. I was so lonely and afraid and downcast. In the nighttime, I didn’t know anything about God, just started. I was sleeping. At around 3 a.m., I felt somebody hold my feet like this, tight, and it shook. I didn’t know God or His presence back then or His Word. Somebody was holding my feet and I shook. I said, “Oh, who’s this?” The first thing I heard in my life from God was, “Fear not. It’s only I.”

I didn’t know who “I” was. “Fear not. It’s only I.” Later I found out who was there. It was the Holy Spirit. God sent Himself. Fear not. From that day, it’s not that I’m not in fear from other things, but the spirit of fear left.

Prayer leader Cindy…

What God wants from us is our trust. And the highest expression of love is trust. If I say I love somebody, but then I say, “Well, I don’t really trust you,” then you’re not feeling that I love you. Like, just trust Me.

And the parable that DJ was citing, I got Matthew 25 about the landowner who goes away on travel, and he entrusts some stewardship over certain amount of money, talents. And he doesn’t give people more than what they can handle. The servant that he gave one talent, you can see that he didn’t trust him because he didn’t know him and have relationship with him.

He didn’t know his lord…

He says, “But the next man who had the one talent in his keeping came and said,” when he was going to give an account after the man came back. He said, “Sir, I knew you to be a severe man.” Oh! Can you imagine saying that to your boss? “I knew you to be a severe man, so I didn’t do my work. I didn’t increase. So here, just take what you gave me. I was afraid.”

It says, “Sir, I knew you to be a severe man, reaping where you do not sow and garnering what you have not winnowed.” Not only did he know him to be a severe man, he also knew him to be a man of no character. I mean, he’s like a thief. “So being afraid, I went and buried your talent in the ground, there you have what you belongs to you. Take it.” And then then the Lord said, “You wicked and slothful servant.” Because he’s being a hypocrite, because he said he knew all these things.

And the Lord said, “Well, if you did know all these things, why didn’t you at least put it in the bank? That’s the least that you could have done.” I mean, if you see me as being severe and that I expect you to give me a return, why didn’t you just do that? You’re kind of hypocrite. You’re just complaining. And, so that’s why he was so harsh with him.

And your duty then was to deposit my money in some bank so that when I came, I should have gotten back my property with interest. So take away the talent from him and give it to the man who has 10. “But as for this worthless servant, put him out into the darkness outside. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

We all at times have to deal with fear…

It’s kind of a hard pill to swallow because we all can be that way at times because we get afraid. But the Lord showed me… Because every time He brings this up, I think about it as God is like wanting us to… because he said “cast out that servant.” Well, who is the unprofitable servant? It’s the spirit of fear. So, it doesn’t serve us. It doesn’t serve us, but we have the spirit of fear that comes up to us and says, “I will serve you. I will protect you. Don’t trust. Just rely on yourself, … dig a hole and put it in the ground because the world is scary and you can’t trust people.”

So that’s the servant, and he’s like, “I’ll protect you. I’ll serve you.” But the Lord is saying to us today, “Cast out the unprofitable servant.” Cast it out.

We are to never bow down to or serve fear…

Hell was never created for us. But if we hold hands or we bow to that fallen world, the prince of the power of the air, the rulers of the darkness of this world that operate on their own and have fallen forever and are consigned to hell’s eternal fire, if we bow to that, then we are basically going in that way.

So we thank you, Father, for the love of God that casts out fear. To know you, Father, is eternal life.
