Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Prayer leader Cindy…

We thank you, Father, for touching us this morning. One touch from you.
You lift us up. You enlighten our view.
We thank you, Father, that we can ascend up higher today.
In our journey, in our walk with you, our path grows brighter and we are lifted higher.
And, Father, the view is better up here today with you.
Thank you, Father, for showing us more and more your ways of doing and being right.
Your ways that delight, your ways that make us let go of all the cares and the things that might hold us back.
The constraints of the clock, the appointments that we make here on earth.
And all of those things that would naturally consider they’re worthy of our attention.
But, God, in a moment, in an instant, we are going to go and check on the cats.
We’re going to make sure that you, Father, are holding sway in our ear today.
Over every other voice that is demanding and, you know, just naturally makes sense.

DJ could have considered, “Well, those cats are fine. I don’t know what that thought was and just shrug it off, but it wasn’t about the cats. There’s more going on than what meets the eye.” And we’re like, “Lord, what meaneth this? Is there something you want me to do?” He’s like, “Ah, just take a step and then you’ll understand. And then you’ll be more and more acquainted with how I speak.”

Cont. praying…

He is the voice of many waters.
His voice is going out to all the ends of the earth.
And there is nowhere He cannot be heard.
So that people who’ve never opened a Bible or heard anybody speak can hear His voice cry out from the depths of their being, “Who are you? I want to know you.”

I just love that Father can shake people on the other end of the earth into saying, “Oh, I need to go to this remote distant land.” I mean, there’s callings that are calling.

Cont. praying…

And, Father, you are showing up and revealing yourself in many different ways.
But you’re calling your people to get into place that everybody would be where they’re supposed to be.
And, Father, all we need to know is that our attention is on you first and foremost.
And that everything else in our brains and our thinking has to take a seat on the bench.

Shared how faith is like a baseball game…

I was talking to somebody the other week about how I said, “Faith is like a baseball game. And when the Father calls you in and says, ‘I need you up to bat,’ you have to bench your brain. And the brain needs to be quiet and let the Spirit instruct. So the natural mind is at enmity with God. It doesn’t know the things of God. It doesn’t understand and it will fight you. So we instruct the brain to get on that bench, not in the stands where it can boo or cheer, but on the bench. And then it gets to listen. And we instruct it—‘Listen now, pay attention and be instructed by the Spirit.’ And then God’s up to bat and He’s using us, doing wonderful things. But we would not be able to understand it unless we trusted Him.

Cont. praying…

So, Father, we thank you that we don’t lean to our own understanding.
In all our ways we acknowledge you and you are leading, guiding, and directing us into the ways everlasting.
The ancient ways because we sit and ask, Lord, reveal yourself and thrust today.
Make known how good you are in and thrust today, Lord.
As we simply show up when you speak and believe to see the glory of God.
To which we have been appointed unto His glory.
For we are His ambassadors.
We are His image bearers.
We are the ones who shine and show forth His goodness.
Healings and miracles and signs and wonders and great happenings.
Because you chose to do it this way.
It was your kind intent to buy us back for your express purpose of shining forth and displaying your glory through us.
So we wait on you and set our hope on the grace that’s coming when Jesus, the Messiah is revealed through us as we step up.
Little things, big things, they’re all the same.
Thank you, Father, of the glory that is coming through.
I lift up your church today, Father.
I lift up all the things that you have planned for this great body of love and every member and every operation and every place and position.

I’m not a sports person, but in every sports arena, everybody has a position and they’re doing what you have called them to do.

Prayed…

So we set ourselves, Father, at our stations joyfully and with strength and understanding that keeps coming and coming because we’re in the game.
We’re in the game, Lord. That’s all we need to do is just show up.
And here you’re in. Go.
Thank you, Father, for the great things that will unfold.
The great things that will come to pass.
Not because we are that great, but because we show up.
And the greater one shows out because greater is He that’s in us and he that’s in the world.
And there are more with us than with them.
Sometimes we think, “I’m all by myself. I’m doing this. Why isn’t anybody else doing anything?”
And He says He has many in the city.
So we take strength and courage and we know even though we don’t see it, when we cry to the Lord in faith, He’s shaking people into place.
They’re getting into their places and positions.
And the bases are full.
And Jesus is up to bat.
And the crowd goes wild.
Because Jesus is being revealed.
We set our hope on the grace that’s coming to us when we step up to bat because Jesus is going to be revealed.
Thank you, Father. We know how this all ends.
We win. We win. Victory is ours! We already have the victory!
We thank you, Father, for this great-end time harvest of souls.
We earnestly expect your coming.
We earnestly expect and look for your coming.
And a crown of righteousness is waiting us.
Jesus said, “I will be shown to be right in everything I say and do.
“And as I do it through you, you will be shown to be right.”
The tables get flipped.
The righteousness of God comes through.
That’s the kingdom. Righteousness, peace, and joy.
So we stand for the righteousness of God in the mercy of God.
The things that He requires, humbly walking with Him and loving mercy and doing the right thing at the right time.
Appointments.
Great and awesome is our God.
We don’t know, but we’re up for the show.
Let’s see how our expectation will grow as we wait on the Lord.
Because He’s coming through every day in glorious array.
Great expectations of everything that He has sewn and knitted together for such a time as this.
The great ecclesia, the great gatherings of His people for His purpose and for His will.
And it’s marvelous in our eyes and it’s shown to be from Him.
And He gets the glory and no other can put on and take over because He’s the mighty one.
It shuts the mouths of every young, prideful and old and obstinate.
They all together come to the knowledge of God is truly among us.
And letting go of the deception that is nothing.
In the brightness of His coming, darkness flees.
Cannot hold sway anymore.
Everything is cut and broken and smashed down and pulled up and brought down under the feet of Jesus.
His ecclesia and the air is fresh.
And everything that’s right is shown to be right.
And we’re thanking you, Father.
Your gates with thanksgiving and your courts with praise.
We’re in your presence as it is in heaven here on earth today.
Great and awesome, mighty and wonderful and full of mercy.
