Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Hello everyone. Happy Monday. Is God good? I’m so thankful for His faithfulness, aren’t you? He’s faithful. He’s merciful. He’s good. He’s kind. He’s loving. He’s gracious. He’s patient. Yes. He’s so good.

Essential truths from the book of Esther…

I wanted to remind you that in the book of Esther, we find some interesting truths. And one of the most essential and important truths I think we can be reminded of by the story of Esther is that when you can’t see His hand, you can trust His heart. You can trust that He is at work behind the scenes in your situation and in my situation, in the situation concerning Israel and the situation concerning America, and what’s going on around the world. God is at work and His kingdom is being established. And things are advancing according to His plan. That’s what we stand for. That’s what we believe for.

Isaiah 59:19, Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard…

I just wanted to remind you this morning of a passage found in Isaiah 59:19. I’ll read about halfway through here from the Amplified Classic Bible. It says, “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight, for he will come like a rushing stream, which the breath of the Lord drives.” Well, of course, that standard ultimately was Jesus. When the enemy came in like a flood, Jesus was sent as our standard, our standard bearer.

But guess what? That standard is you and me exercising what Jesus obtained for us. We have the right to bind. We have the right to loose. We have the right to use the name of Jesus to speak forth the Word of God. And it becomes a mighty spiritual sword to defeat the enemy at every turn, in every situation, and every attack, in every way. Aren’t you glad? I’m glad this morning!

Quote from book, “Spiritual Warfare,” by Grace Ryerson Roos…

There’s this excerpt found in Grace Ryerson Roos’ book, “Spiritual Warfare,” where she talks about God’s challenge. How He challenges us to fight our good fight of faith. And she says, “The infuriated fighter was the enemy of our soul, Satan.” She had this dream and she saw these two fighters, and there was one that was infuriated. And that was the enemy. He turned up the heat, and he tried to attack a believer. And the more he did, the more he was infuriated. She said, “The second fighter was myself.” In other words, a Christian. “The enemy could not touch me because I had enough spiritual understanding to ward him off. He was just beating the air and getting angrier [the devil that is] by the minute. But God was not pleased. The Lord ordered ‘Get in there and fight.’” In other words, exercise your authority.

And she went on to say this…

“God wanted me to fight the enemy on his own ground.” And, of course, our fight is a good fight, meaning it’s rigged in our favor. We’re already more than conquerors.

But that doesn’t exempt us from using our authority.
That doesn’t exempt us from pleading the blood.
That doesn’t exempt us from giving ourselves to prayer.

We must reinforce Christ’s victory…

Because as we pray, as we speak our faith decrees, as we worship, as we simply stand on the promise of God, we reinforce Christ’s victory on our behalf. We reinforce His victory for healing, His victory for peace, His victory over the enemy and every attack that he tries to put forth against us.

She said…

“God wanted me to fight on his own ground. If it meant I suffered a broken eye or bone, figuratively speaking, the point was I could not stay out of his way and remain unhurt. But if I wanted to put him out of business, I must get in there [the Devil that is] and put him out of business. I must get in there and do battle regardless. Followers of Jesus Christ are not pacifists, although many believers and many in the world seem to think so. The Word of God calls us warriors, soldiers of Christ, and such militant titles signifying, there is a battle on, a war to be engaged in. We are exhorted ‘fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold of eternal life’ in 2nd Timothy 4:7.”

I just believe somebody’s being stirred up this morning.

The victory has been promised. The answer has been sent. God’s Word is still true. And God is watching over His Word to perform it. But the question is, we as believers, we as pray-ers, will we continue to stand? Will we engage in this holy fight that is rigged in our favor? Things are rigged in your favor for this week. Refuse to let discouragement enter into your experience. Refuse to give place to doubt and worries concerning those symptoms or the report from the other day or what you feel or what your mind’s trying to get you to think even. The Word is still true. He is the faithful one. He is the one, once again, who is watching over His Word, and He will perform it for your benefit on your behalf in every situation.

Just don’t stop believing!

Continue to believe. Continue to stand. This Monday morning is a reminder for us that we need to get in there and fight the good fight of faith. We need to get in there and stir ourselves up on the promises of God’s Word. We need to get in there in our daily lives and set our focus, our attention, and our affections on Him Who is above, on Him who is our Father—the Father of all spirits. The Father of your spirit. Your life. My life. He’s a good Father. He’s a faithful Father. He’s going to see you through to the end. He’s going to make sure things work out in your favor. He’s able to even turn hopeless situations in the direction of His intention, which is good, which is for victory.

A delay is not a denial…

So I just want to encourage you this morning, no matter how bleak or how long it’s been, remember a delay is not a denial. No! It’s just a reminder that we’re here to continue to stand. We’re here to continue to grow and to grow stronger with each passing day, even if nothing changes from the natural standpoint. Because God is going to get His way. And even though it has not manifest the answer, the promise, or whatever it is you’ve been seeking God for, know that it’s an opportunity for your faith to be refined. It’s an opportunity for you and I to grow stronger, for us to put on some spiritual muscle. Because there’s glory in us persevering in the in-between seasons. God gets glory when we persevere through troubles and trials and when it’s uncomfortable and when it’s inconvenient. God is glorified. You get stronger. You are prepared all the more for the promotion that He has in mind and is already sent on your behalf.

Doors are going to open.
Opportunities will be presented to you.
Change is on its way.
Refuse to relent.
Refuse to grow weary.

Fill your environment with faith decrees…

But like your Father Abraham in the faith, grow strong, giving Him praise. Let your house, let the environment of your life be filled with worship and faith decrees. Because it’s changing things even as you go about your day and your week.

Fight the good fight of faith…

And so we’re to fight the good fight of faith, to lay hold on the God kind of life. Eternal life. Therefore, Paul said, so run not as uncertainly, not as one that beateth the air. In other words, you’re not just beating the air. Your prayers, your faith decrees, your worship, your time of silence and solitude before the Lord is making a great difference. It’s shifting things. It’s changing things. It’s allowing the Spirit of God to work behind the scenes and situations that you can’t see right now with your eyeballs. But if you could see into the realm of spirits, you would see angels attending you and assisting you. You would see the blood of Jesus working to assure your victory and to bring forth and into manifestation your healing. Your provision. The answer that you asked God for.

God is working behind the scenes on your behalf…

The Bible says if we believe we receive, then we have. Make no mistake about it, God is working behind the scenes on your behalf this Monday morning. He’s not going to fail you. He never has. He never will. He’s not going to start this week. No, there’s no lack. There’s no insufficiency. There’s no shortage of power or ability in the heavenly realm. There’s never been a time when the angels have rung their hands in consternation and wondered, “Oh my. What are we going to do now in this situation? I think the power grid of heaven just flickered.”

God is ahead of the problem…

No, the power of the resurrection is relevant and available to us today. As we pray, as you go about your day, as you go about your week, no matter what comes down the pike in your life, understand this: God already was ahead of that problem. He already went ahead of you some 2000 years ago to make a way where you don’t presently see a way. Guess what? There is a way! Hallelujah. That’s right. It’s so. And it’s true anyway. He has made a way.

The winds of change are blowing…

It’s going to be a good week. Change is precipitating even as it is here in Minnesota where it’s sometimes winter and sometimes spring, right? We’ve had a couple of false springs already, I think. But winds are blowing. The seasons are changing. That situation is changing for you right now. I’m just prophesying over you this morning. That thing you put up with maybe for years, guess what? It’s time! The enemy’s attack is up. It’s being called out. It’s being exposed. The winds of change are blowing. Things are changing in your soul, in my soul, in this house, in your house, in your finances, in my finances. Things are shifting in the direction of God’s intention.

Oh, that’s a prayer right there. You can say, amen.

Things are shifting in God’s direction…

Things are shifting in the direction of God’s intention for me today. My body’s taking strength. Your body’s taking strength. Your youth is being renewed. My youth is being renewed. Good things are on the way for you this week. God is at work intricately weaving His great plan in the direction of His intention for you and for me, for Living Word, for these United States of America. Don’t get it mixed up. Don’t misunderstand what God’s plan is. His plan is for us to go out with a bang, a flourishing finish as the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. His plan is for you and me to run our race, to run it strong, to run it full of vitality full of Holy Ghost power to finish in a flourishing way. Your race of faith. My race of faith. This great move of God called the Church is going to wrap up in a flourishing way. Without spot. Without wrinkle.
