Today, I heard from the Lord two words—seek and demand. Then He said to me that I was not to take a care about what we’re doing today in prayer. I was just to cast the care of all of it upon Him. He then reminded me of times in the past when we had run into the prayer closet and had so much fun. We worked too but there was not a care. It was just a place we went to with joy. He said to me, “Live in the joy and pray in the power.” So He was just balancing me out and it was a good conversation I had with Him on the holy road to prayer.
When we were gone, we listened to Lynne’s series she did when she was at Kevin and Susan’s church in Arkansas. It was phenomenal. She talked about being seated, take your seat. He’s been speaking to me about how we come into the prayer closet. Do we come in the authority that God has given us? We should come knowing who we are in Him and His power and authority. We’re seated with Him in the heavenly places. If we’re seated with Him, it’s far above every principality and power. That’s the way we are to come into prayer. Adam lost his dominion in the Garden of Eden, but Jesus came to give us that dominion back.
Lately, the Lord has been telling me “You need to write some warring songs, some power songs.” David received songs from the Lord like, “How are they increased that trouble me.” That song is for now. “Many are they that rise up against me. Many are they that say of my soul, there is no help in God. Thou O Lord art a shield for me. You are the glory and the lifter of my head. For thou O Lord art a shield for me and the glory and the lifter of my head.”
♪ Lord, you are a shield for us. You are the glory and the lifter of our heads. Oh thou, O Lord, art a shield for us. You are the glory and the lifter of our heads. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people. Who set themselves against me round about. For thou O Lord art a shield for me. You’re the glory and the lifter of my head. ♪
The Holy Ghost just said, “As you sing, you create the shield.” You create that shield as you declare it. We create a shield today, Lord. We create a shield in this place, Father. Thank You, Lord. What is that thing called in Israel, that equipment that creates a shield for Israel from missiles.

It’s a shield. And we have a shield in the realm of the spirit. But it’s not made out of iron. It’s made out of the blood of the Lamb. More powerful.

♪ There’s power in the blood… all power in the blood… triumph in the blood… victory in the blood… ♪
Jerre interjected…
I feel like we’re marching in territories. And watching. We’re marching and covering territories. So when we sing of the blood, we “sling” the blood there in that territory.

Thank You for the blood. The blood sets up against the obstacle in the name of Jesus. It destroys the yoke. That blood, in His name, goes forth against the obstacle, against the symptom, against the situations that are against us. The blood is going before us. Yes, that blood, that blood… ha, ha, ha… Freedom and release! The release of finance. The release of sickness. The release of depression. Clearing out the junk… loosed! There’s movement… The weaknesses are being released, being loosed in the name of Jesus. The limitations are being lifted and loosed. Hindrances, get out! Let go! Freedom by the blood of the Lamb. It destroys the yoke. It makes it ineffective. The enemy is ineffective. It makes his power ineffective.

I heard this. Every time we would say “the blood” I heard, “lay it out.” Remember how the Israelites would take the blood and they took something that was almost like a mop or brush and they would brush it on, or lay it over the posts. And it was thick and it would lay over that thing. That’s what we do when we’re praying. So we take the blood and we lay it out over this situation and we lay it out over that situation. We’re laying it out over those situations, over those people. We’re laying that blood in every place, on the people. It’s like rolling paint onto a wall. We’re laying it out all over the place. ♪ Oh the blood makes you whole. We’re laying it out… over the bodies, over the parts, over the minds… we’re laying it out, laying out the blood… ♪

The authority of the believer… He is positioned in Christ Jesus. That position of authority gives him the right to apply that blood. So in your mind’s eye, when you see the obstacle, rise up and take your authority and apply the blood. You’ve been given authority to apply the blood. It’s been given to you. “You” apply it. Then watch and see the change that will be. Yes! Lift up your eyes and apply the blood. So in your mind’s eye, you look at that obstacle and apply the blood. See it covered, smothered with the blood. Then by faith, turn away and walk by faith. Watch and see the change.
♪ For thou, O Lord, art a shield for me. You are the glory and the lifter of my head. Your blood is a shield for me that no enemy can get through. ♪
Word came…
As we began to pray over our position in Christ, I heard the Lord say “You shall be as I was with Elijah.” When the widow woman gave her all to serve the man of God and the enemy came in and took her son and tried to punish her for her obedience, I heard the Lord say, “As Elijah covered that little boy, and as you cover your situation with My Word and My blood and as you speak to that situation with the authority of My name, I will raise it up. I will raise it up in the name of Jesus and I will bring it to the obedience of Christ. Every imagination and every argument that tries to declare and exalt itself against the knowledge of God, we bring it to the obedience of Christ. And we command it to be raised up in the name of Jesus.
