Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Folu…

What one act of obedience brought…

Can I say something about this wonderful God that we serve? Last night, Pastor Ashton was up here. She was leading Kevin. They were up there leading worship. And then at a particular time, Pastor Ashton went on her knees and she was worshiping the Lord. And I’m standing there and in my heart, I felt I should do the same. I didn’t want to kneel down. “You should do the same, son.” I don’t really want to kneel down right now. But I thank God the Spirit of the Lord had His way. So I came up here and I knelt down. The moment I knelt down, this wind began to swirl all around me. And then my wife came up to open the service. And guess what? One of the first things she said was, “Lord, we thank you for the wind.” I’m like, “Wow!” That one act of obedience of Pastor Ashton changed the whole trajectory of last night’s service.

I was prepared to go a different way…

I came here prepared with 14 pages of notes. I didn’t get to one of them. Not one. So as soon as my wife finished… I’m in this wind here. And she’s talking about wind. And so when I came to myself, I said, “You know what, saints, thank you so much for coming tonight. But I feel that we need to go a different way right now.” I said, “Is there anybody here that the doctors have given you one year left? The doctors have said there’s no more hope for you. You got one year at the max.” And then I said this: “If you’ve been given a terminal diagnosis…” I was shocked. I mean, there was about 140 of us here last night. Between online and in person. Before I knew it, there was at least 12 people that came up for that call.

Because one lady chose to honor God… chose to humble herself. The whole trajectory of the service changed. Think about that, saints. New people that had been given a one-year sentence, that the doctor said “For you, no more hope. Go set your affairs in order. A terminal diagnosis.” At least 10 people were up here, if not more. How many would you say, honey? Twelve?

Be ready at a moment’s notice…

You know what the Lord showed me with that? He’s like, “Son, it’s good to be prepared. But also be ready at a moment’s notice to flip everything.” I mean, we had all kinds of slides. We didn’t use one of them. And the Lord was just showing me the importance of, number one, for myself to have yielded to. Because who knows, if I had not yielded to that, maybe we would not have gone where we went.

And then another thing about our musicians. You know, when we have healing school, when we have musicians, they don’t have to stay for the duration of the service. They don’t have to. But Pastor Ashton sat there after the service, her and her friend. And then guess what happened! Right after the service was over, we had a number of the Spanish brethren here, at least 12. And one of the leaders in the Spanish ministry came up to her. I was standing right next to her. And he said, “While you are up here, Pastor Ashton, I had not just one, I had two different open visions about you.” And then after he shared with her the two open visions he had about her, then he said, “Then I have a word for you.” I’m like, “Whoa.”

We are learning…

We’re learning to follow this wonderful God that we have.
We’re learning to follow Him sheepishly.
We are learning to be obedient to His voice.
We’re learning to humble ourselves before His mighty hand.

And one of the things that she did last night that really just practically showed me about this great God that we serve, that if you’re just willing to relocate yourself, if you’re just willing to do something a little bit different, sometimes that’s all it takes. And if you’re just willing to just step out in faith.

Now, all those people that came forward, some of them were standing for others. And it was very interesting. After they went back to their seats, and I said, “For those of you that came forward, if you can already begin to sense a difference in your being, can I see your hand up?” Not only did the people that came forward raised up their hands, a number of them… even people in the congregation that did not even come up, they were raising up their hands.

Let Him have His way…

I’m like, “Lord, what is going on tonight?” And I believe that the Lord really wants to continue to take our services to the outer limit.

And the Lord was just sharing with me, “Son, if you will continue to let me have My way, because I’m not going to bash in your service. I’m not going to impose Myself upon you. But if you will continue to allow Me to have My way, I will continue to take the services to the outer limit, to be more than you can ask, think, or imagine.”

And that’s exactly what happened here last night. I mean, people were having visions, people are getting healed, people are getting delivered. I was like, “Wow. Thank you, Lord.”

He needs a vessel…

I had to brag on our God there and brag on our dear sister. Because as you all know, the Lord cannot do what He wants to do just because He wants to do it. He needs a vessel that will cooperate with Him.

Breakthrough of principalities…

I want to read this [prophetic] word. It’s about principalities. Breakthrough of principalities. This word is so strong on my heart that by the grace of the Lord, I’m going to be dedicating four Wednesday nights starting next week to this word that I’m about to share with you. It is a word from 1988 from my dear Pastor Mac Hammond. It’s going to come up on your screen shortly.

Here’s the word…

“And there’ll be many times, saith the Lord, for you as a body to look to the left or to look to the right and to remove your focus from the high call which I have given unto you. And it’ll come in many ways, a variety of ways, in subtle ways. You’ve not known corporately the meaning of warfare really, because now you are moving into, indeed, the principle stronghold over the city. And it’s more important now than ever that you maintain your focus on the call that I’ve given you, saith the Lord.

“Not to be puffed up, not to be proud that I’ve delivered this call to your church, for I’ve delivered it to several hundred churches before you. And none of them have fulfilled that call. Because the warfare is great and the opportunities many to turn to the right or to turn to the left. So in the days ahead, be prepared for what is to come and know that if you’ll keep your focus straight and true, this city shall bow its knee to the name of Jesus.”

That was way back in 1988 and how relevant it is for today. Like I said, please pray for me. I feel so strongly about this word for Wednesday nights starting next week is being dedicated to this word.
