Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Morning everyone!

It takes effort…

The things I’ve been seeing in the news and on different podcasts is interesting. Maybe some of you have heard Europe is instructing its people, a lot of them… Our US military through Pete Hegseth recently issued an edict that all our military bases should be able to function on their own. I’m not saying that to scare anybody, I’m just saying I was thinking about this last night on how it takes effort to live in revival. And what I mean by that is it takes effort to sow to your spirit. It takes effort to say no to a lesser thing, to say yes to a better thing, such as prayer or time with God or whatever that may be… some spiritual practice that edifies you, that builds you up, that fuels you, that sustains you.

There’s nothing better than living in revival…

There’s nothing sweeter, there’s nothing better than living in revival. And that’s where we live perpetually prepared for whatever comes, for whatever shows up, for whatever bend in the road we experience. God is out ahead of even the slightest problem that the Devil has in mind to try to tempt you with. God is ahead of that. And there’s just something about surrendering yourself over to God that enables Him to work on your behalf, even in your future before you get there. So when you get there, solutions have been provided, answers are available, and you know the way forward.

With God, nothing is impossible…

Somebody shared this recently, and it really resonated with me as well. We’re in the second day of November. Today is going to be a Luke 1:37 kind of month. Luke 1:37 says, “For with God, nothing shall be impossible.” The Greek word for “nothing” in Luke 1:37 is pronounced rhema, meaning “every word or every spoken thing.” If God has spoken it, He not only has the power to bring it to pass, but He is also faithful to do what He has promised.

God’s Word is never without power, and His promises never fail. That’s a good place to say amen on a Monday morning, whether it’s a promise for healing or a promise for a loved one coming to Christ, whether it’s a promise for you to get out of debt or a promise for you to know the way forward in your future.

Romans 4:21…

I wanted to also read Romans 4:21, starting in Romans 4:17. This is speaking of Abraham, the Father of our faith.

It says…

“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” Anybody need something in your life that doesn’t exist right now? Maybe some finances, maybe an opportunity, maybe a situation turned around completely.

Well, guess what? No problem.

We serve a God who’s in the business of turning hopeless situations around for the better. And we serve a God who is in the business of creating something out of nothingness. So listen to this.

Number one…

He calls things which do not exist as though they did. So, okay, there’s a cue for our coming week and the remainder of 2026 for sure, is that we got to get comfortable calling things which do not exist as though they were. Get comfortable just thanking God right now for whatever you prayed the other day, that you’re believing God for.

Just get comfortable saying “Lord, I thank you for da, da, da, da. I thank you for that breakthrough. I thank you for that answer. I thank you for that increase. Oh, I just thank you for it.”

Your imagination is the place you go to preview life’s coming attractions…

It’s so good to walk in increase and see yourself in that. Amen? Faith also just has an expectation, and faith is a visualization at times. Your imagination, as Einstein once said, is the place you go to preview life’s coming attractions. So not only give Him thanks, but preview in your mind’s eye what He said and what He promised to do for you. Get comfortable thanking Him in advance.

The Bible says in Mark 11:23–24, that whatever you pray, believe that you receive whatever you pray for, and you’re going to see it, and you’re going to experience it.

So Romans 4:18 says…

“…who, contrary to hope, in hope believed…” I always like to point out that hope literally is a blueprint. It means to have a vision. In other words, you’ve got to spend some time seeing in your mind’s eye what you’re expecting, what you’ve expected God to do for you. It’s a blueprint. Hope is a blueprint. Abraham was instructed to call things which should be not as though they were, number one.

Number two…

It also says here that contrary to hope, in other words, he resisted the spirit of hopelessness, and in hope he believed.

So he had a hope.
He had a blueprint.
He had an idea.

He had something in mind that God wanted to do or that he needed to have done. And it says, “…so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be. And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body…” In other words, he did not consider contrary circumstances. There’ll be plenty of opportunity to consider an alternative scenario, an alternative situation, contrary circumstances.

Learn to ignore contrary circumstances…

But today, on this Monday, aren’t you glad we have the privilege to go forward in God today believing? We have the privilege to go forward today ignoring contrary circumstances. I don’t mean you’re stupid and you walk out in the middle of traffic. Use your five physical senses where they tell you, “Don’t cross the road. There’s a large semi coming your way.” Of course, use your common sense.

But when it comes to something that you want to see overturned, a situation you want to see changed, symptoms you want to be gone in your body, and you want to be completely free of pain, you can resist the temptation to be all caught up in your symptoms and all caught up in those contrary circumstances. And you can choose a higher order of truth, “the truth,” in fact. And that truth, if you will yield to it, if you will give God praise for it, if you will consider it, it will overturn the facts of your situation so that they align with the truth of God’s Word and promises.

So “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”

Prayed…

And so, Father, we thank you this morning for your faithfulness.
We thank you for your mercy.
We thank you, Lord, that you’re in the business of turning hopeless situations around.
We thank you, Father, for the privilege to surrender our wills to you.
We thank you for the privilege to, like Abraham, call things which be not as though they are.
Like Abraham, consider the promise and have that as our blueprint of hope.
Like Abraham, grow strong in faith, giving you glory today.
So we just start out this Monday, Father, knowing that you have good things in mind for us.
That you are preparing our hearts, that you are preparing our lives and every aspect to our lives because we say to you, Lord, we are yours.
Take our lives and make them what they ought to be.
Prepare us fully, Father.
Position us individually and collectively.
Position, Father, this church.
Position our homes, Father.
Let us fall into alignment and into cadence with your divine plan and your purpose for the days that lie ahead of us.

Every prayer is consequential…

Somebody, shared this analogy and I thought it was really good. They were sharing how they had an open vision or a dream. In this vision, they saw a chessboard with all the pieces on the chessboard. And these chess pieces represented people, situations, God’s plan, et cetera. And this woman was sharing how she has always thought that prayer is a matter of praying and praying and praying until some kind of spiritual bucket is full. And once the bucket is full and overflowing, then God moves.

But in this dream and in this vision, what she recognized was that every prayer was consequential. That every prayer, even the making mention of somebody that she knew, moved a chess piece on the table that was before her forward.

It moved it forward.
It had impact.
It had a positive influence on someone’s life.
It released answers.
Every prayer shifts something in the Spirit.
Every prayer counts.

Prayer shifts the course of human events…

Glory to God. Hallelujah. We’re not here just to try a few things. We’ve got some very clear instruction from the Word of God. Number one, that prayer works, that prayer was God’s idea. From cover to cover in His book, prayer was His idea to shift the course of human events. Not in the wrong direction, but…

In the right direction
In the direction of justice
In the direction of God’s plan for awakening and revival
In the direction of His plan that you and your whole household would be saved even before the end comes
In the direction of healing
In the direction of authority where demons run fleeing like little girls at the announcement of the name of Jesus from your mouth and my mouth

We are to be a catalyst…

We are the sons of God, the daughters of the Most High God after all. We’ve been inserted, as I often say, into time and space to be a people of consequence, to be a catalyst. In fact, that’s what prayer is. I’ve used that analogy before. Prayer is a catalyst. It catalyzes something.

In chemistry, in science, you might add a little heat, you might add a particular element to a beaker, and that element or that heat or energy catalyzes a reaction inside that beaker, inside that flask. And, suddenly, something new is created! Suddenly an explosion happens, which is the case with potassium added to water, I believe. An explosion happens.

Well, guess what?

Your prayers are a catalyst when added to situations, when added to somebody’s life, when added to the atmosphere of your home, your nation, this midterm election, it’s going to have a result. It’s going to have or produce the plan of God. Amen?
