Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Worship leader…

Good morning, everybody. Welcome. Today is the National Day of Prayer, so hallelujah for that. I love that. It’s not just us now, right? We got people praying all over the country, which is fabulous, right? And prayer changes things. If anything, it changes us, which I think we all need that in some area of our lives. And I’m grateful that we have a nation that we can still pray in public. I have people that I know that grew up in places where that was not something they were allowed to do. Or if they did, heavy persecution could happen. And I’m not talking about just somebody says something on social media that they don’t like. Like, I mean, we’re talking like jail and worse. So I’m grateful that we still have a nation that we can pray together and that we have leaders in this country who will pray and take it seriously.

So, Father, we’re grateful that we can come to you in public and you listen. We’re grateful that we can come before you with all of our needs and all of our wants and all the cares, and you’re big enough to handle all of it.

So, Holy Spirit, we ask for you to come and be here in a tangible way this morning for you are what changes things. We thank you that you want to come, that you want to fill us, so we welcome you.

Sister Barb…

His presence is so amazing here. I was reminded of this song we used to sing. It was “mold me, make me, fill me, use me.” And that just came up in my spirit. And it says in Jeremiah… Jeremiah got a message from the Lord. He said, “So I went down to the potter’s house and saw him working with clay. I saw him working with clay at the wheel. He was making a pot from clay. But there was something wrong with the pot. So the potter used that clay to make another pot with his hands. He shaped the pot the way he wanted it to be.

The Father molds us and shapes us…

And when we worship, that’s what He does with us. He takes who we are. He takes that clay, and He molds it. He removes all the imperfections by the blood of Jesus Christ. He calls you whole and perfect. And He sees you as a beautiful pot that He created.

We’ve got the old clay. We got the new clay. You’re blended with Jesus Christ. You’re blended with the Holy Spirit. How can anything come out of you that’s not perfect? So that’s why it’s so good to get into worship, to worship the Lord. And as you worship Him and He just perfects everything, He makes everything new. He puts a shine where there’s dullness. He puts joy and peace on the inside of you. And He fills you up till you overflow. Nothing missing. Nothing broken. No chips. No cracks. Completely perfect because of the blood of Jesus Christ.

So we thank you, Father, for your wonderful presence. Thank you, Lord that you fill every single pot here. And I thank you, Father…

That that flow never stops
That overflow continues to flow
That flow of your spirit
That oil of joy
That oil that never ceases to flow
That runs into every nook and cranny
That fills that pot
That it overflows to everyone around everyone

Prayed…

Lord, we magnify you. There is no shadow of turning in you, what you declared over us from the beginning, it is so, Father.
All that dross is removed, Father, anything that’s plugged up the way is removed today by the power of your Spirit. So there’s an easy flow for the river of grace.

Dressed. Yes, we are dressed, fully dressed, fully clothed. I’m in the garment of praise and the spirit of heaviness has to go in Jesus’ name. Every spirit of heaviness, every burden has to go in the name of Jesus…

For where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Here in this room, there is liberty for you today as you’re watching online, wherever you are, there is liberty for you today. By the power of the Spirit of grace. We receive that refreshing in that oil today. Filled, filled, filled, filled, filled, filled.

Even those of you that have never spoken in tongues, right now be filled in Jesus’ name and begin to speak by the utterance of the Spirit… step into that river of the Holy Ghost.

Holy is the Lord God almighty. Who was and is and is to come. Yes, Lord, we are preparing, we’re getting ready to be the bride. That we’ll be so close to that road, Father God, it’s just a little step over … We begin to experience that now in this time. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.

That veil. That veil begins to dissipate. And the two realms come together. We begin to see. We begin to hear. We begin to move in places that we’ve never experienced before.

Worship leader…

There’s a couple different things I’ve been getting while you’ve been praying. One thing is He kept saying was “Fresh oil. Fresh oil.” His oil is always new. It’s not stagnant. It’s not been sitting in the bottle for too long. It’s always fresh. It’s always new. It’s always for what you need and more. Not just what you need and more. That’s Ephesians 3:20. Exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond, right? So there’s fresh oil. Somebody needs to hear that or receive that for themselves today. You have fresh oil for whatever it is. You don’t have to rely on yesterday’s. We have it for today.

Barb…

In thinking that oil. If you’ve ever had oil that’s rancid, ugh. But the oil that comes from the Lord is fragrant and beautiful and peaceful and wonderful and enjoyable. And it even tastes. You can taste and see that it’s good because He’s good. So let that oil flow today.

We let the oil of the Holy Spirit flow into us, into our spirits, into our flesh. We let that oil refresh and restore and renew in Jesus’ name.

Begin to yield to that oil, yield to that flow, begin to get new words, new languages of the Spirit right now. There’s more.

Yes, I heard that. Someone said, “But I don’t even know what I’m praying. I don’t even know what I’m saying.” But God knows! God interprets your language. And that’s all that matters.

So lift your heart to the Lord. Let that language flow. Let the Holy Ghost speak mysteries. Let Him pray out your future. Let Him use you… a vessel to be used.

Pastor Heather…

I was going to say as Brian was saying too, He created us to be vessels. So notice that He didn’t create clay sculptures or statues or things that would sit on a shelf and collect dust. And we’re not filled with ourselves, with our own clay. We’re vessels! So what do you use vessels for? To hold water. To hold oil. To grow things.

And so, Father, we thank you. You’re filling us now, filling, filling, filling vessels. It’s not our own strength, but it’s His strength. We’re vessels to be used for His glory. So the pressure’s off of us. We just yield. We just sit and be a vessel and allow Him to fill us and allow Him to use us and allow Him to make us able…

To pour out His presence onto others
To pour out His oil onto others
To pour out His fragrance onto others

National Day of Prayer…

So I can’t think of a better way to honor the National Day of Prayer than to allow the Guest of Honor to fill us to overflowing, to come into this place and fill every vessel to overflowing.

And how do we get filled to overflowing? Staying in His presence, staying under that spout. So like they said, it’s not stagnant. We’re not just a vessel that’s just been sitting on a nightstand for months and years, that’s stagnant and old. No! We’re being, being, being filled. It’s a continuous action—be being filled.

How do we get filled?

Get into His presence, get into the secret place. 2nd Chronicles 7:14 in the Amplified Classic says, “If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity, My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.”

And so we do that now. We humble ourselves. We know that we are just the vessels… that you shape us as it pleases you. You put us in those places as it pleases you. What kind of vessel are we? The vessel you decide.

So as we humble ourselves, as we seek your face… A filling. A filling… because you have to be filled before you pour out. You have to be filled before you can change nations. You have to be filled before you can speak and go and do the things that we’re not capable to do on our own. But…

It’s His strength that causes us to go.
It’s His strength that causes us to speak.
It’s His strength that causes us to change and to shape nations and to change worlds and communities.

God is not like a cosmic ATM machine.

We don’t just go before Him and stick the thing in and get something out. That’s not how it works. It’s a relationship… a be being filled. And as we are learning to walk and to listen and to speak the words of the Holy Spirit, we become more in tune with what He’s saying. Not our agenda. But His agenda. Not our will. But His will.

You’re filling, you’re filling us these earthen vessels, filling, filling, filling to overflowing with your oil, your water, your presence… to overflowing that wherever we go, we’re just spilling, spilling, spilling out your presence, spilling out your power. Now you’re just filling, filling vessels, reshaping. Maybe you’re remolding, like Barb was talking about, remolding and reshaping some things. Maybe you’re working out some air bubbles that need to be worked out before we get in that fire. Maybe we have a little dented side. Maybe there’s a leak.

Oh, thank you that you are the potter. We are the clay. So shape us as you see fit. We yield to that. There’s a yielding … you have to yield for Him to shape you. You have to yield for Him to get you to that place, to get you to that destiny, that vessel that He wants you to be.

So we humble ourselves. We yield ourselves. We seek you. We call upon you today, Holy Spirit, do what you do best. Comfort. Strengthen. Change these vessels… that will be vessels of your glory, vessels of your presence, vessels of your joy, vessels of your peace.

Who is that woman?

I do want to say something before Barb comes up because I noticed in the comments, somebody’s like, “Who is that?” This is Barb and she has been a prayer leader here at the church since a very long time. So she is trusted and she has prayed with Pastor Lynne and she knows the heart of Living Word. So if you don’t recognize her, she’s amazing. And I call her my sparky because we spark each other in the spirit and we encourage each other. And iron sharpens iron. Right? So find you a sparky, find you somebody that sharpens you. Because we need that in these days.

Barb…

So begin to see yourself full. And a lot of people, I don’t think we esteem the Holy Spirit as much as we should or think of Him the way… He’s God! We have God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. And He’s not a tiny little Holy Spirit that lives down here in the corner of your, you know… No! I call Him the big HG. He’s the big Holy Ghost. We got the big HG on the inside, and the Holy Ghost is so big that when the apostles would walk down the street, I believe it was Peter, right? He would walk down the street and people would get healed as he was walking by. Why? Because the big HG extends beyond your capacity.

So don’t think of Him as a small person of the Godhead. They’re all equal. There is so much power on the inside of you… the Holy Ghost! I mean, begin to esteem. See yourself full… your whole body full. And Him extending beyond you. That’s the overflow. You’re filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit.

So begin to just meditate on that. Meditate on who He is and who He is in you. One of my favorite scriptures, and I was talking to the Holy Ghost about this, this morning. I said, “You know, you’re one of my favorite scriptures.” Because in Genesis, it talks about the Holy Ghost hovering over the face of the deep. And I love that so much because He’s so excited and He’s just waiting to hear the word of the Father, and He’s going to go do it. His ability… He’s ready to go do.

And so the same thing with you. When you speak the Word, when you speak the words of faith, the Holy Ghost is like, “Yeah, come on, come on, come on, come on. Say something. Let me do something. I’m waiting to move.”

He’s waiting for you! And so remember that. He’s so excited to hear you speak faith, to speak truth, to speak the words that God speaks over yourself, over your family. So I don’t know… that just came up in me. Just honor the Holy Ghost. Don’t think of Him as, “Oh, here’s the little Holy Ghost over here.” We got the Father, we got the Son, and here we got this puny little Holy Spirit. We don’t know what He does really, but you know, He comes sometimes. No! He’s in you and every time you show up, He’s there.
