Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Worship leader Melanie…
Well, good morning, everybody. Happy Friday. I’m just going to pray and then we’ll get into a worship this morning. But I just want to encourage you guys this morning to just let the Lord speak to you, speak to your heart. He always is speaking. Amen. He’s always wanting to connect with us and wanting to connect our hearts together. So just be expectant this morning. I know sometimes we can come in and we “assume the position” and we’re like, “okay, another hour.” But be expecting this morning that the Lord is going to speak. So let’s pray.
Brother DJ…
The Spirit of the Lord was moving, hovering all upon the earth. And the Lord says, “Let there be light!” And there was light. Let! And there’s light.
There’s the Holy Spirit says “Let your kingdom come, let your will be done.” Let!
King David said, “Have mercy on me. Lord, have mercy on me. Forgive me. I’m sorry. Restore the joy of my salvation.” Then he said, “Do not take your Holy Spirit, the presence away from me.” He knew the Holy Spirit…
He said you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit come upon you… come inside of you. We talked about the Holy Spirit this morning.
I was reading this morning how King David cried out of the Lord, “Please, Lord, don’t take your presence away from me.” He was talking about the Holy Spirit. If He leaves, it’s like a glove without a hand.
Then I read someone else. I was reading this morning. Twice I read different places. Samson. The Bible says Samson was a strong man. But this time he said, “I’ll do again what I did before,” but he didn’t know the Holy Spirit left him. God left him. The Bible says he got up, but he didn’t know the Lord left him.
Jesus said to her, “I will never leave you. I will not forsake you. I’ll be with you until the end.”
“Restore the joy of my salvation,” King David cried out.
You know this morning like we’re talking about, we are believing the Lord Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. You all are here and you are watching this morning. He wants to restore. The Holy Spirit will restore what the enemy has stolen.
The Holy Spirit said, “Don’t leave.” He said, “Don’t leave Jerusalem. Go to the upper room and wait for the Holy Spirit.” He knew how much we need the Holy Spirit.
Restore the joy of my salvation! And who can do that? Only the Holy Spirit. He said, “I will send you the helper, the Holy Spirit, and He will guide you.” The helper will guide you to help you to know where to go. Left. Right. Straight. Don’t go this way. Go this way.
The Holy Spirit. Welcome, Holy Spirit. We are welcoming the Holy Spirit this morning. He’s here. But we say “Welcome, Holy Spirit. We are in your presence. Fill us with your power live inside of us. The power of the Holy Spirit.
He said the Spirit searches the hearts. He searches the hearts. What is in your heart today? In my heart, He searches. He said the Spirit searches the heart. He knows the mind of the Spirit. Pray what’s in your heart. And my heart is concerning you and I. What is it concerning.
Today we are focusing on something being restored. He wants to restore the health. He wants to restore the wealth. He want to restore those relationships. The Holy Spirit! He said, “Do not leave. Stay up there until the Holy Spirit come upon you.” Because He knew we need the power.
He said you shall receive power when the Holy Ghost will come upon you. The Spirit searches the hearts, knows the mind of the Spirit, and prays according to what’s in your heart and my heart desire.
While we were praying in the Holy Ghost, Joel 2:25 came to me. The promise from God in this year of 2025, five months have almost passed away. We are still saying this. He said, “And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten—the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you.”
I will restore to you the years the swarming locusts have eaten. We are talking about Joel 2:25.
Father, we thank you that you have restored that years what the enemy has stolen.
You restore the health the enemy have taken.
Restore relationships.
Restore the money, the health and the wealth.
Restore the years and the time that was stolen.
Because you are sick or you had something happen. Divorce happened or that happened. You could not go on vacation. You couldn’t go do what you’re supposed to do. Business, work, whatever it was… the Lord is saying, “Restore! I will restore the years, the time, the health, the money!”
When?
We don’t want to wait for another year. Restore!
We don’t want to say “end of December the 31st.” He said, No. We want restoration and we want it today!” Now! Now is the time for restoration.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
Sister Cindy…
I just want to pray with you about the restorations. I was thinking about this whole thing. When I came out of my parking garage this morning, I just had so much joy. It’s almost like, you step over some kind of a log or something and you’re, “Whoa!” I didn’t even have a coffee yet. And I was just, “Thank you, Lord.” And I said, “Lord, you are the glue. You hold everything together. We’re pieces. And we’re so valuable. But, Father, you remember us in the time when we need to be remembered.” And put back, glued back where we need to be… where everything fits together just perfectly.
Father, we thank you that you are remembering us. And I don’t know what you’re saying, but it just triggered me to think about the honoring that we have for all the pieces. It isn’t like things aren’t working because the pieces are all just wrong. No, the pieces just aren’t in the place they need to be glued with the joints that supply.
So we just thank you, Father, that people hold the greatest value. And it’s just the thought of you and our focus on you and you fill us with your thoughts toward those that were created in your image, those that you gave gifts to, all those that are maybe outside the family. So much value inside the family.
But, Father, you’re calling us to increase the family. You’re calling us to go out and invite those that don’t have their secure place.
But, Father, out there, there is no security. But inside, we’re securely glued together in the love that supplies all we need, the joints that supply the love, that feeds us from within and then overflows to all the pieces that you assemble. Just right. And our eyes are on you, Father. So we see correctly. We see exactly how you see.
It’s like He searches our heart… Holy Spirit and knows the mind of Christ, which is given to us through this vital union that we might value what He values and see according to His great and awesome wonderful plan, which He sees the end from the beginning and He declares those things and they spring up and we do no less.
We have this prophetic gift. We have Jesus, the spirit of prophecy. So we see good. We declare good. Just as you see it, Father.
Your glory in earthen vessels. So we get our watering cans out and we water. And we ask you, Lord, to let us see that we might speak that prophetic word into dry and dusty vessels that need to be filled. Like Pastor Heather was speaking yesterday. We are your vessels and vessels are meant to be filled. And this morning we are crying out to fill us even more to the full and overflowing.
