Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Prayer Leader DJ…
Good morning, everybody. Oh, what a beautiful day today. Thank you, Father for this good Friday.
I was reading this morning, he said the angels are for us who inherited the salvation.
When we were worshiping and praising this morning, did you know the angels are in this place? Can you see some? Hallelujah.
Angels get involved with us when we praise and worship.
You know when we start complaining, it’s the opposite. Start complaining about everything. “Oh, look at the parking. Oh, now I have to drive this. Now I have to do this…” Complaining.
But we are the worshipers. Not this church, the other church. The complaining is in different church. The Living Word church has praises.
Prayer leader Cindy…
Even in the greatest opposition, we will lift our heads and see that there’s lifting…
Jesus was lifted and He drew all to Him.
So, Father, we lift up our eyes and we see our salvation.
It’s in the drawing power of the Savior who took every sin and sickness, nailed it to the cross, and ascended on high.
Rose from the dead, was lifted up above all other names.
And He is in the heavenlies drawing us by His eye.
So we look up and see His eyes shining bright.
The Word of God says that the eyes of the Lord look to and fro all over the earth, looking for who to show Himself strong on their behalf.
Strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Strong in the Word of His power.
The most excellent Word, the word of life.
His love letter to us… the Word and the spirit.
So the faith that saves our soul and our excellence of soul flooding our hearts and mind that the faith that never fails because it’s mixed with love is making the way…
Our way has already been made.
We just agree, Father, because our eyes are on you and your eyes are locked on us because we’re looking.
Thank you, Father, for giving us the eyes to see.
Showing us, Lord, the light that is in our eyes to choose right.
Not to be confused.
Because there’s a tree of the knowledge of good and evil and then there’s a tree of life.
And we are partakers of life and the wisdom from above is the way we go.
And not beneath. It’s far below.
No! We will grow up and become greater trees of righteousness in the world.
The planning of the Lord, His seed is within us.
And every branch is bringing forth fruit today for the glory of God to say to all those that are outside, there’s a way.
Not the way that seems right, but the way that is right.
Trees planted of the Lord growing up and becoming greater.
Providing shade and providing housing for the angels, the birds of the air.
Great is the peace and undisturbed composure of us who believe
To the saving of our souls.
And from this excellence of soul we go because as we prosper in our soul, we prosper in every other area of our lives to the height that God has ordained us to rise.
Thank you, Father, for eyes being filled with the things of God, the ways of God.
The Bible says to train up a child in the way that he should go and he will not depart.
So we thank you, Father, for our children.
Only one way to go for them. And that’s the way of the Lord.
And it’s lit up and bright. And showing them what’s right.
Eating and partaking from the life of God.
His life and His life only.
The Psalm says that He’s better than life.
His presence makes us just die to ourselves in this low-wisdom living.
But, Father, we live for the glory of your coming. Every day. Every day.
So we are persevering in the midst of all the opposition.
Everything that arrays itself to come against us from continuing to go in God’s way.
And saying, “Let the chips fall,” because they will fall in pleasant places.
Because God authored this great work and direction.
He’s our Lord. He’s our shepherd. We shall not want. Everything we do will prosper.
Because He’s directing us and we’re waiting on Him.
And confidence and assurance that even though it looks like there’s nothing that’s supporting us, God is blowing on our sails.
And we’re going out like Abraham and our senses don’t know what we’re doing.
But our heart is the beacon that continually makes it apparent that this is a way that I should go. I will walk in.
Strengthened in the might of His power. Even when we’re weak, we can say we are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Even when we don’t have the belief, our heart cries “Yes.”
Thank you, Father, for all these great experiences with you that only settle us more and more and the God that always shows up.
And we get used to you showing up.
And even when it’s like the thing that we would least likely want to do and it makes us say, “pick somebody else,” we get stirred up.
Because it’s just a greater opportunity because of all the opposition.
So our confidence and trust is in you.
And we can quiet ourselves in your presence because you’re greater than our heart and you know all things.
We see through a glass darkly, but then when you appear and we fully expect you to appear, because you’re directing us.
We go from glory to glory.
I will understand more on the flip side.
And I will have a greater glory because I trust you.
Thank you, Father, that you’re not a man that you should lie.
Your Word is true.
We don’t look to other people.
Jesus said, “I don’t commit myself or commend myself to what other people think.”
Because one moment, the crowd is going wild and loves everything Jesus is doing.
And the next minute, “Crucify Him.”
And so He was really sober about that even when they were acting good.
He said, “I don’t commend myself to them because I know what’s in them and I still love them. And I came for them. I came to die so that they would be set free from all themselves.”
Thank you, Father, for sending us free from ourselves.
Thank you, Lord. There’s freedom in not being dead to the world and the flesh and the Devil.
Because He cannot poke or provoke me to do anything because my confidence isn’t in my ability, but God’s ability.
And He uses the weak things of the world.
We all qualify.
Some of us just don’t know it.
But given enough time and pressure, we realize that we are all weak and liable to get into ditches and go down dead end alleys.
But God, you’re the God that keeps us. You keep us with your keeping power.
And because we keep going, we experience you, Lord, as the God that keeps.
And so I would pray to the Lord, “Lord, you see how I’ve messed up yesterday? Whew, where was my mind? What was I thinking?”
But now 24 hours I have presence of mind.
