Jerre led in worship…

♪ All my days, I’m going to sing your song… I’m going to live my life for You, Lord… Lord, for You I’m going to live my life… and I’m going to praise Your name forever… and pray above all things that You be glorified… It’s the song of Your faithfulness…the song of Your grace and of Your loving kindness… to the glory of Your name… With everything that’s in me, Lord… Listen to me say, I’m going to sing this song for You… I’m going to sing Your song… ♪

This reminded me of a word from the Lord that came through a lady as she was prophesying. And I know her. She’s from the old Moravian movement where John Wesley saw their faith and went to another degree of glory and then into the Daystar ministry. She told me one time, she had been translated. So when she gets up and says something, I listen. It was kind of a long word but in the middle of it, I heard her say this powerfully. She said, “In this day, in this dark day, in these dark end days, you have to sing a song!” I was like, “Okay!” That’s like the Holy Ghost giving an arrow into your heart. That means a lifestyle of lifting up praises to God. But the word was so strong, “you have to.”

And then I heard her say this, “Even if you have to start with a grunt. Start your song.” So I’ve been pondering that in my heart, how the high praises of God, you know, are like a weapon. But in these end days, you can turn on the news and there’s a bunch of darkness out there. And it seems to be thick gross darkness. But the Holy Ghost says you have to sing a song. We have to sing! It is more than just a song. It’s a weapon against the darkness. I’m not saying just at church. I’m saying as a lifestyle—singing the song of heaven over the earth, over yourself. And that song, that weapon of our warfare, lifts us above the darkness.

Prayed…

There are songs of power waiting to be born. Father, we’re asking for more of those songs. Open up our ears to hear the song of heaven. And let it be sung on the earth in these days. For You promised, Father, that the gross darkness would increase but the light would so much more increase. So we’re asking again, Father, for the birthing of Your power resident in Your song. Father, we don’t sing our own songs. But the voice of the Spirit within, the Holy Ghost, rises up in power and authority and creates through the songs that the Father gives from the throne of heaven.

I just got this text and thought it was cool. “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a temporary human experience.”

I read this quote from brother Hagin. “Spiritual songs, songs from heaven. They’re spiritual songs. They’re by the Holy Ghost. They bring such change in the hearts of people because they’re fresh and heaven-sent words. Just like maybe you’d say, “thus saith the Lord…” It’s like that.

Brother Hagin said, “Revelation of God’s plan and purpose for your own life and revelation of the deeper things of the Word all come by fellowshiping with God through the supernatural communication of praying in other tongues.” That could be singing in other tongues. Singing in the spirit. But communicating with heaven.

And in that part that I read, it’s where he talked about 1943, he decided he was going to pray in tongues for an hour. He got through an hour and the Devil harassed him saying he was doing nothing. “What you’re doing is meaningless.” So he said, “Okay, I’m going to pray another two hours.” Well, he gets into the two-hour range and the Devil was going crazy. “You’re doing nothing. This is meaningless.” So he said, “Okay, Mr. Devil, I’m going to pray four more hours.” He entered into the fifth hour and the Devil is trying to get him to stop. He hit a gusher. He said that most Christians today, just drill down below the surface and they want a quick word without praying out in other tongues until you really get out in other tongues.

Should prayer be a downer? No! Prayer should be like, “Bless God, we’re going to prayer and we’re going to do some work for the kingdom of God. And we’re happy about it.” He said when he hit the gusher, the revelation by the Spirit began to come through him and he wrote out on a piece of paper that after world war 2 there would be a healing revival in the country. Then he forgot about it. He was in a meeting a year later, 1944, and he had it in his Bible but he just forgot. He opened up his Bible and there was this note. So he’s doing the meeting and he’s in the middle of his message, he read the word that he wrote by revelation of God about what would happen after WWII. That’s all he did. He said it was a minister’s conference. All the ministers came running to the front, hit the floor and started praying in other tongues. He said, “I was still in the middle of my service.” He said he didn’t know what to do so he just hit the floor himself and started praying.

But his point was praying by the spirit in other tongues is where all the revelation, all the things we need are there. We can’t understand the things of God with our own natural thinking. We have to get into the spirit.

I Corinthians 2:9–13, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” (KJV)

It makes it clear where we get revelation, where we’re able to see things we haven’t seen. We hear things by the Spirit. Jerre was talking about when that lady began to speak last Friday, in the middle of that, everybody’s got a song. Brother Hagin wrote songs. He didn’t sing them but he spoke them.

Group sang in the Spirit…

As soon as we started singing, I had this in my heart. There’s a balance. We’ve been taught this over the years. There’s a balance between the Word and the Spirit. Sometimes we swing way over on one side or on the other side. Like a pendulum. But in the center is where we’ve been called to live and to pray. Filled up with the Word, absolutely filled with the Spirit and praying out in other tongues. Lifting up our voices.

Erika prayed and shared…

Father, we thank You that we can plumb the depths of who You are. You’re patient and kind and merciful to us. You never leave us or forsake us. Thank you that in the church right now there is some revealing and unveiling and disclosing and transmitting to us. So we might come into the fullness of You. Praying until we hit a gusher is part of the plan. Those songs are part of the plan. There is a new song in the earth. We believe that the notes to be emitted in and through the church are coming forth with great clarity. We believe you for it. That there is a pitch in the spirit. There is a fine tuning going on. A synchronization. Jesus, you orchestrate it. We receive from the head of the Church by the Holy Spirit. Father, the unwrapping of gifts, in the name of Jesus, unwrapping the gifts. Unlocked for the last leg of the race. We thank You for the preparations that are going forth even now. Some things are being dusted off and some things are being resurrected and some things are being tweaked.

So Ray was telling me a little bit about where he was going with praying in tongues which to me, makes perfect connection with what the Lord has been talking to me about. You heard me praying about the unwrapping of gifts. I’ve been praying again for Miss Billye. Remember what the Lord showed her and the unwrapping of gifts in these last days. The pray-ers. They’re not earthly gifts. Heavenly. Then I’ve been thinking about what brother Andrew shared with us. Inside of each person, there is something that you have that nobody else has that’s part of the plan that has to come out now. How is it going to come out? It’s going to come out by praying in other tongues and by revelation. It will come because we believe for it to come. It will come because we know the Word says we should have this revelation.

I went back again one more time to this book Revolutionary Revelation by Mark Hankins. I was thinking about that. If there is all of this, like how he says it. “Where there is no vision [redemptive revelation of God], the people perish. Pro. 29:18. Amp. You could say ‘Where there is no redemptive revelation of God, the people are poor, sick, depressed, and defeated. Where there is no redemptive revelation of God, the people do not know the call of God, the inheritance or the authority that belongs to them.”

We have to know it now. Not just head knowledge. “Oh yeah, I read that.” It’s a response of the Spirit. When you know who you are and what you have, you don’t have to sit there and think, “I don’t know what to do right now.” I know what to do.

“… but if you do not have a redemptive revelation, you will not be able to walk in the victory that belongs to you. Thank God we do not have to live that way. We can have a redemptive revelation of God by the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. By having the eyes of our hearts flooded with light, we can know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glory, and the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe.”

I like the Arthur S. Way translation. “…that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Father glory-clad, may, in bestowing the full knowledge of Himself, bestow on you’re the Spirit which is manifested in divine illumination and insight into the mysteries of God, and may flood with light the eyes of your understanding. So shall you know what it really is, that hope which springs up in those who hearken His invitation: so shall you know what riches are comprised in the magnificence of the inheritance which He gives you among His consecrated ones.”

Sometimes I think we’re like, “Oh, yes, we have an inheritance in Christ.” You read about these people where they read the will. One kid gets the old chest of drawers. Then the other one, the dad like him a little better and he gave him his coin collection. But what about the magnificence of the inheritance that is ours in Christ Jesus? We’re only going to know it by revelation.

“…so shall you know what is the transcendent greatness of His power displayed towards us who believe—a power measured by the impulse exerted by the might of the strength of God. This He put forth in the person of our Messiah, in raising Him from the dead, in throning Him at His own right hand in the high heavens, up above all the celestial hierarchy—dominions, authorities, powers, and lordships—above every title of sovereignty that is known by any name, not only in this present universe, but also in that which is yet to be. Thus he ‘put all things, like subjects, beneath His feet.’ And this Supreme One has He given, as its Head, to His church, which indeed is Messiah’s Body, which is filled with the presence of Him who fills the universe, with all that is therein.”

That is our inheritance. I just like to read it and see it and pray about it. I like to envision it.
