Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Good morning, everybody. I just want to share a few things. If you don’t already know, my name is Ken Olson and I’m one of the pastors on staff here at Living Word. And I’m excited to pray this morning. I’m excited to celebrate this morning. Hallelujah. Just talking to Terry here and his wife. They mentioned that our evangelistic teams prayed with 142 people last night in St. Paul. 142 people gave their lives to Jesus! So grateful for that. God is at work everywhere you turn right now.

Get used to it. Expect it.

Not just in other places and in other lives, but expect it in your life, in your family. Things are going to turn up today that you didn’t realize God was behind the scenes working out on your behalf. People you’ve been praying about, situations you thought were far too gone to be redeemed. The Lord is going to bring it back around to you. He’s going to bring to your attention today some things that are going to be a blessing for you and going to be an open door for you.

Opportunities for ministry.
Opportunities to prosper.
Opportunities to step through and into a new place of freedom and liberty and purpose.

We’re in the days of acceleration…

I’ve often said that over the last couple years. We’re in the days where God is accelerating His anointing, accelerating awakening, accelerating His power, accelerating His works to be put on display before this generation, before His eminent Second Coming. And so get excited about that.

Revival is taking place in the Middle East…

And I don’t know if I’ve shared this with you, but I see these things all the time, more and more about revival, about awakening. But this comes to us from the Middle East and the title is “Christian Revival Is Taking Over the Middle East.” And the news report says “Quiet revival is sweeping across the Middle East.” This is important for us to hear these things because if you’re dialed into just the world’s perception and report of what’s going on, it’s pretty negative. It’s pretty down and out. It’s pretty one sided, and it’s all about what the enemy is doing. But I’m here to remind us this morning that our God, “the” God is at work in your life, in my life, and in and throughout the earth. Make no mistake about it, God will have the final say before it’s all done. He will have the final word. His word will stand. His Word will be fulfilled. He will have His way. As we continue to pray and we continue to offer up our supply of faith and intentionality for Him, He’s going to have His way.

Before I finish reading this, make no mistake about it, prayer has a decided impact in our lives in this world. Once again, the author of the book of James, who is James, writes that there is a great power available to us, that the effectual, fervent, or white hot prayer of a righteous man or woman makes much power available.

We are living out the reality of the resurrection…

Pastor Mac reminded us this weekend that there is exceeding great power to those who will simply believe. So I just want to stir up your consciousness this morning that we’re not just walking out some ancient tradition that has no effect. No, no, no, no, no. We are living out the vitality, the vital reality of the resurrection of Jesus. And that reality is not only did the Son of God take back His life and ascend from the pit of hell and ultimately send back to His Father’s right hand, but that the Son of God made much power available toward those who would simply believe and call upon the name of Yeshua, call upon the name of Jesus. So there is no wants. There is no lack. There is no limitedness in the power of God. There’s exceeding great power toward you and toward me if we’ll simply believe.

Prayer is simple agreement with what God has said…

I believe God today. I believe God for the impossible today. My decree is that it will be even as He has spoken it in His Word and in my heart. Prayer is simple agreement with what God has said. It’s simply declaring and saying the same thing that He has already said. That greater is He that is in me, than He who is in the world. That as far as me and my household, we all shall be saved and live out the full length of our days and do all of the will of God. For death and life is in the power of your tongue and my tongue. And we will experience results of those words which we choose to speak.

I choose to speak life.
I declare I’m strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
I declare that life is pulsating through my body right now.

Making a good confession…

When I look in the mirror, I say, “Ken, you are good looking.” Ha ha ha… Just checking to see if you’re awake. Don’t laugh too hard.

I say, “Ken, today’s going to be a good day for God is at work. Good things are going to break forth in my life today. Everything I set my hands to will prosper and succeed. The favor of God will follow me everywhere I go today, and I will experience preferential favor, preferential treatment. Things will open up for me. Doors will be accessible for me. I will step through and into the will of God today. I will not be denied. But I will flourish and thrive in my time. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.”

God is speaking life. Do you sense in the realms of heaven, the angels, the Lord Himself, those that have gone before us, they’re speaking life. They’re speaking victory. They’re saying, “Church, keep keeping on. Do not be denied. Don’t rest on your laurels but lean in with faith and intentionality, for the victory is a hand for your salvation is nearer to you. Your deliverance is nearer to you. The result of your faith is nearer to you than when you first believed.”

The enemy works to wear you down…

The enemy wages a war of attrition. In other words, he works to wear us down and get us to give up and wave a white flag of some kind and say, “I think I’m just going to coast. I guess that isn’t the will of God.” If you have His Word on it about a particular promise, a particular situation, then that is the Lord’s mindset and His will for you. If it states that He desires for you to be made whole from head to toe, then camp on that. Stand on that. Don’t let up on that. If it says He wants your needs to be met and for you to prosper, then stand on that. Contend for that. Declare that over the atmosphere of your life, over your business, over your finances, over your bank accounts and investments.

Do not grow weary in well doing…

It doesn’t matter the timing. You’ve got all the time you need. The main thing is do not let yourself grow weary in well-doing. And you don’t have to just limp along or hang on barely getting by. You can actually grow strong in faith. There should be no lack of joy in the heart of every one of us. We should be overflowing with joy. Because the last time I checked, my Bible says that Jesus released a river on the inside of every one of us. A fountain springing up to eternal life… a life that could be described like the life God experiences… the life like those in heaven experience is springing up on the inside of us and on the inside of you today. Take hold of that.

“Well, Ken, how come I don’t have much joy?”

Well, maybe you need to “re-joy.” That’s what rejoice means. Rejoice in the Lord always and again, and again, and again, and again, I say rejoice! Come on, now. Praise God. Rejoice! You can rejoice your way into an overflow of joy. You can rejoice your way into a place where you’re so strong and so resolute and so determined that nothing can stop you. That’s been God’s plan all along, is that yes, He has in mind that you experience all of the will of God and the fullness of that promise or that blessing.

But in the meantime, He wants us to rejoice. He wants us to keep saying the same thing. He wants us to grow and expand in our capacity to believe, because He has in mind something far greater for you to believe.

Believe for that new pair of socks…

So keep believing for that new pair of socks. Brother Copeland talked about how he cut his teeth on believing for a pair of socks because that’s all he had faith for back in the early days. But he grew and he expanded on the inside to believe for far greater things. So keep on keeping on, believing for whatever that is for you and your family. Refuse to be denied.

Anger is a godly emotion. It just depends on how you’re using it and directing it. Anger is bad if it is out of hurt and pain and you’re lashing out to hurt other people. But there is such a thing as righteous indignation. There is such a thing as a fieriness that arises from your spirit within that says, “I will not be denied. I will not sit here and take this beat down by the enemy and him attacking my soul with doubts and unbeliefs and a replay of what happened in my past over and over saying he’s going to do this to me again.”

Talk to your mountains…

Like we said last Wednesday, you need to be talking to your mountains. You need to be taking up the task on a daily basis to speak to those enemies who would discourage you and harass you and hold you in a place and say, “Enough is enough. I’m a believer, I’m a pray-er, I’m a child of God. I’ve been positioned uniquely and positionally at the right hand of the throne of God in the heavenly realm, jointly with Jesus according to the writings of Paul.”

When Jesus ascended, we ascended with Him…

Because what Paul wrote about implies that in the mind of God, when Christ was raised from the dead and when He ascended back to the right hand of the throne of God, in the mind of God, He saw you ascending with Jesus, not physically but spiritually, positionally, seated with Him in heavenly places. So you share in rights and privileges that are like unto Jesus. You’re not Jesus, but you’re in His lineage. He’s your brother sharing in the redemptive results of what He performed and accomplished on our behalf. Hint, hint, what He did was not for Him. It was for you and for me, that we would receive and we would enjoy all that redemption purchased.

It purchased healing for your soul and your body. Redemption purchased deliverance from an anguished mind and soul that you might be free and whole inside and out. That’s why Paul prayed, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper,” or in other words, do well, thrive and rise, prosper, and be in health even as your soul prospers and is in health. Hallelujah.

And maybe what’s coming out of me this morning is a result of the fact that the Lord is calling for the victorious and triumphant church now. Not a dead and beaten up and dragging our legs and “Oh, I’m coming, Jesus.” Sometimes you just got to do that. Hey, no judgment. Sometimes if you’re in a fight you might be doing that, but hey, just keep moving toward Him. Keep moving toward the Lord. He is in the process of restoring you every bit.

Revival sweeping the Middle East continued…

Okay, before I got off preaching there, I was reading a testimony about Christian revival taking over the Middle East and how a quiet revival is sweeping across the Middle East. In Iran where there were just 500 Christians in 1979, the underground church has grown to over 1 million believers, making it the fastest growing church in the world.

What did I hear the other day? That the number of people professing… This is in America and in Europe. I don’t know the exact numbers, but just in the last 10 years has increased by 10 or 15% of people professing to follow Jesus.

People are hungry! People are searching! And they’re finding the Lord. And in some instances, like you’ll see here, the Lord is showing up in people’s lives to reveal Himself to them. Afghanistan, despite being one of the most dangerous places for Christians is seeing thousands turn to Christ in secret. Even in Saudi Arabia, where conversion is forbidden, there are increasing reports of native Saudis following Jesus. Many share remarkable stories of vivid dreams and visions of Christ, calling them by name and drawing them to the Gospel. Against all odds, faith is rising in the most unlikely places. Hallelujah!
