Good morning, everyone. Welcome to morning prayer. My name is Heather Sibinsky. I’m one of the pastors here at Living Word, and I want to welcome you.
Let’s just take time this morning just to welcome His presence. Slow down a bit. It’s been a busy week. We had our Forest Kingdom Conference meetings here, and so we’ve all been really busy. But that doesn’t mean that God still can’t move and bring His peace. It was amazing services, and so we rejoice in that. And now we just can take some time to just recognize His presence, welcome His presence.
Prayed…
So Father, we acknowledge Your presence. We welcome You into this place. We welcome you into this church, into this community.
Prayer for the bride without spot or wrinkle…
We just yield to the Holy Spirit. We yield to your unction now.
And I hear Him say, “My beautiful, beautiful bride. I’m coming soon to be by your side.”
So prepare, prepare, prepare, prepare for your wedding day.
Your wedding day is drawing near. Everlasting love is here.
I’m coming back for a spotless bride. No spot, no wrinkle.
Washed in My blood, says the Lord. Purchased with a price.
Oh, that we would know we were purchased with a price.
And that we would redeem the time.
As a bride getting ready for her wedding day, so many preparations to be made.
Prayer for believers to rededicate their lives…
Rededications in the body of Christ.
So what are you dedicated to? What have you given your heart to?
Oh, for He’s looking for a bride whose heart is on fire with passion.
Dedication. So make ready. Make ready. Prepare. Be prepared for the day.
And there’s so many things that you can busy yourself with. But He needs a dedication.
Oh yeah, don’t be distracted.
Don’t be like Mary, fussing and distracted with so many things and so much serving and doing that you forget to sit at the Master’s feet.
Oh yeah, because there’s so much He wants to teach us at His feet.
Yeah, so bring yourself to His feet daily and often.
Oh, for there’s teaching, there’s humbleness, there’s yielding there, worship, a strengthening.
Prayer to choose the better thing…
It’s the better thing. We have to choose the better thing.
Yes, it is a choice. We have to choose. Every day we choose. Every minute we choose.
So are we choosing the better thing?
Are we choosing the busy thing?
Are we choosing the good thing?
Are we choosing the better thing?
Because that thing will not be taken away from us.
Everything else will fall away, but the better thing will never be taken away.
Ah, yes, so we do, Father. We bow our hearts humbly before your feet.
And we listen. We worship. We’re in awe. At the feet of Jesus.
That there’d be nowhere else we’d rather be than the feet of our precious Savior.
Yeah, to see the scars on those precious feet that walked on this earth, that walked out so many things.
Prophecies fulfilled. Lives redeemed.
We’re here today because He walked on this earth and redeemed us.
He put on human flesh. He became one of us.
Emmanuel, God with us. God with us.
You are with us. You are still with us.
God has sent us a helper…
And you said it’s good that I would go. For I am sending you a helper. And so we thank You, Holy Spirit.
You’re our helper. You help us now.
Oh, how we need your help.
So let the Helper help.
Stop trying to figure it out on your own and ask for help.
You have the Helper living inside of you. The Spirit of the living God.
He’s in you. He indwells you.
So stop trying to do it in your head. Stop trying to do it in your strength. Stop trying to do it in your might.
Lean into the Helper now.
Question…
Did you pray about it more than you thought about it?
Did you pray about it more than you worried about it?
Oh, Helper, we ask that You help us.
Show us how we’re trying to do it alone without Your help, without Your strength, without Your equipping.
Show us how to have a course correction. That we’re not alone. That we don’t have to do it in our own strength.
Will we walk in the flesh or walk in the Spirit…
We recognize the Spirit of the living God living inside of us.
Yes may we never neglect that gift inside of us.
And repent if there are times that we have neglected that, we thought, “I can figure this out. I can do this on my own,” and we never even checked in with the Spirit of the living God inside of us.
Oh, forgive us, Lord, for thinking we know best.
Oh, yeah, I see that we’ve missed so many times of rest because we’ve been running and doing in our own strength, in our own might, in our own wisdom.
So yeah, which way will we walk today?
Will we walk in the flesh?
Will we walk with our sight?
Do we walk in our own might?
Or do we lean into the Holy Spirit?
Do we walk in the Spirit?
Do we see with eyes of the supernatural? Eyes of the spirit.
For we are spirit beings.
And even though we’re walking through this life in this flesh, we are spirit beings.
This is not our home…
This is not our home. We are travelers. We’re just visiting.
We belong in the city of our God. So this is temporary.
But His world is eternal.
So this time is but a vapor.
The Father has plans for us and is calling us higher…
You remind us when things feel heavy, when things feel overwhelming, this is just a vapor, a moment, a blink in eternity.
For you have plans far beyond today, far beyond our momentary troubles, far beyond these tribulations.
So you’re calling us higher, calling us to see from the heavenly places.
The things that you have planned, no eye has seen, no ear has heard the beautiful, wonderful things that you have planned for those that love you.
So we look to you with hope that you have beautiful things planned.
Eternal things. Everlasting things.
Oh, and how beautiful they will be through all eternity, worshiping, serving, being one with you, never separated from you.
But even now, nothing can separate us from His love.
Yeah, so we remind ourselves today, nothing can separate us from His love.
So if we’re feeling shame, if we’re feeling unloved or anything apart from what the Word says we are, right now we remind ourselves nothing separates us from the love of God.
You love us with an everlasting love.
You called us. You formed us in our mother’s womb. You separated us.
Separated. Called. Set apart ones. Set apart for His plans, for His will.
Word of exhortation came to walk in faith…
So stop trying to fit in the world, for you were set apart for a reason. You were called according to His purpose.
You’re supposed to look different.
You’re supposed to stand out.
That’s how I created you.
I hear Him say, “So stop trying to fit in. Stop trying to blend. Stop trying to not rock the boat. Get out of the boat and walk on the water.”
Yes, sure, it’s safe in the boat. It’s comfortable in the boat.
But He calls us out onto the waves in faith.
He’s called you to a walk of faith, not a walk of comfort, not a sit of comfort, a walk of faith.
Yeah, so don’t sit in the boat and be lulled by the waves.
Get out and walk in faith.
And when those waves come, and when the storms come, He will be there. He’s already there.
He’s already walked it out. He’s already conquered it.
And He gives you everything you need to walk it out. Yeah, so we do.
Prayer for the body of Christ…
We lift up the body of Christ now.
Oh, that we would not be comfortable.
Our comfort comes from the Holy One.
Our comfort comes from the Comforter, not from our circumstances, not from the things around us.
Oh, that we would be brave and courageous for the Lord our God is with us.
No weapon formed against us shall prosper.
Yeah, so it’s time to step out now. It’s time to step out now, body.
No more sitting in the boat. No more sitting with the crowd.
Step out with boldness.
“For I will meet you there,” says the Lord. “I will meet you there.”
He’s not going to call us to something where He’s not going to equip us. No, no, no.
That’s not His way.
For we have a Father who cares about us.
He says, “Cast your cares, for I care for you.”
That’s not a Father that leaves.
That’s not a Father that abandons.
That’s not a Father that says, “You’re on your own, kid. Figure it out.”
No, no, no, no. We have a loving Father, that has given us all that we need, all that we need.
Perfect love casts out all fear…
So why would we be afraid?
For He’s already conquered hell and death and sin. He’s already conquered it. He’s already conquered it for us. Perfect love casts out fear, so we have no reason to fear because love is here. Love is here. Love is here. Yeah, yeah, so walk in that, walk in that, walk in that. Yes, we charge the body of Christ to walk. Walk, walk, walk, walk out your walk. Walk out your walk of faith.
Prayer for Living Word…
Father, I lift up Living Word as a body, as a church, the staff, the congregation, their families, our pastors, their families.
You have plans for this body.
There have been prophecies made.
And it’s not for our glory, Father. No, no, no, no. For your glory.
So I thank you, Father, for Living Word, for this body of believers, for what you’re doing in this time, in this day.
We thank you that no weapon formed against this body will prosper.
No weapon formed against these families will prosper.
No weapon formed against your plan for Living Word will prosper. In Jesus’ name.
I thank you, Father, for wisdom for our leaders, supernatural wisdom, revelation knowledge from the throne room of heaven for such a time as this.
What would you have us do as a church?
Where would you have us go?
What would you have us put our hand to?
I thank you, Father, you’re leading them. You’re showing them all of these things.
How to be a light in this community.
How to be a light in Minnesota.
How to be a light in America and the world.
And surely you’ll take care of every need according to your riches in Christ Jesus.
So right now, we just command anything that’s trying to stop the plan right now.
We break it in Jesus’ name.
Any principality, any power, any lie. We bind it. We break it in Jesus’ name.
Any power of hell, any demon, any principality, we bind you in the name of Jesus, and we say the Word of the Lord will be done at Living Word. It will be done.
Thank you that we have no lack, but that every need is provided.
Thank you that we have no strife in this body, but that there’s unity.
So we thank you for vision for Living Word.
For the things that you have planned.
Oh, the things that you have planned for this body, you will bring them to pass.
For we know many pray-ers have been prayed.
Many seeds have been sown in this ministry.
And now we declare, “Now is the time. Bring in that harvest. Fruits of their labor.”
Yes, that our leaders would enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Years of sowing, years of praying, years of putting their hands to the plow in ministry.
We thank you for those seeds. And now we thank you, we declare it’s time for the harvest.
