Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Pastor Folu…
You know this already, saints. He is everywhere present. Everywhere present. That’s the God that we serve.
The Bible says, “Where can I go from your spirit?” Or “Where can I flee from your presence?”
Oh, we thank you this morning, Lord.
How about this one, saints? He is the unchanging God. He doesn’t have a better idea tomorrow.
Hebrews tells us Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And, finally, at least for now, He is the everlasting God.
Saints, we serve the everlasting God! The Bible says from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
And that is the God we worship this morning. That is the God we serve. That is our Father.
And because He is the everlasting God, you and I, because we are sons and daughters of the Most High, we are the everlasting kids. Whoa, glory!
We get to live and to reign with our good God for the rest of eternity.
And every day as we wake up in eternity, we’ll just be seeing the everlasting-ness of God, if that is a word. Everlasting God.
We worship you this great morning.
Saints, the Bible says He has put eternity into our lives. So we get to think in the realm of the God class. We get to operate, especially in these last days, in that realm.
And in these days, the flow of the Spirit of God that there’s a blending of the supernatural and the natural happening in these days.
That one minute you are operating in the super and then you’re back in the natural. One minute you’re being translated and you’re in another country, and then you’re back.
Oh, what the Lord is doing in these days. Oh, what the stories of the men and women of God are in the world right now about what God almighty is doing in America right now. Oh Lord, we say thank you.
Are you revived?
Saints, we’re not just believing for revival. We are in revival because revival starts with you. It starts with me.
So the key is, are you revived?
Because if you are revived and operating in revival, there is revival everywhere you go.
Pastor Nick, iron sharpens iron…
I was so thankful for Pastor Nick this past Wednesday, how he did our service. And I so thank God because the Bible says iron sharpens iron. And his message on Wednesday was very convicting, at least for me personally.
Because the Lord has been talking to me about… “Son, don’t forget your first love. I am your first love. Don’t put that aside. And because I am your first love, that means what is important to Me should be important to you, son.”
Don’t forget Him when you are out and about…
So He’s been talking to me about these things… about when I’m out in the marketplace not to forget about Him.
As I have my agenda, as I have my list, as I’m trying to go from point A to point B and do this and do that. He says “Don’t forget Me, son. Because there are people that are on their way to hell and who else… There’s nobody else coming. Who else is going to tell them about this great news that you have within you?”
Out and about in Edina…
So He’s been challenging me already. So when Pastor Nick was sharing on Wednesday, He said “See, son, see?” And so on Sunday, my wife and I were out in Edina somewhere. I saw this mother and three kids. The kids ranged in the ages of 12 to 17. And we walked past them. We went to go do our business. And as we were coming back, maybe 10 minutes later, they were still standing on the curb side.
And the Lord said, “Son, they’re right in front of you. You don’t have to go anywhere.”
And that’s what He’s been sharing with me. He says, “As you go…”
You don’t necessarily have to go out on the streets. Yes, if you want to go out on the streets with Pastor Nick, go for it. You will learn some things. But that’s not the main agenda.
But as you go, as the scripture says.
Just be open.
Just be willing.
Just be available.
And you don’t necessarily have to close the deal. The Bible says Jesus went about doing good. Just went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the Devil for God was with him.
So you don’t even have to say any scripture necessarily. It could just be a wink. It could just be “How are you?” I mean, it could be supernatural. It could be natural. It could just be just acknowledging people. Whatever He gives you.
And this time around us, we came around this mother and her three kids in a diner. We just engaged them. That’s all we did. And as we engaged them, I noticed that there’s an opening here.
Somebody has been praying for this family.
There’s an opening here. And we just kept on talking… the weather was great. So we use that as the intro and we’re just talking, just feeling them out. And as we were feeling them out, we realized, “Hey, this family is open.” And we just went for it.
You know what touched me the most, saints? After the mom and the three kids prayed to receive Jesus and they’re going to come and visit us here at Living Word in the coming days. But as my wife and I were trying to walk away, the mom… I kid you not. The mom must have said this like three times. “Thank you so much for stopping to talk to us.” And as we walk away, “Hey, thank you so much.” I’m like, “Wow.”
Saints, I would’ve missed that, just being frank with you. I would’ve missed that opportunity. So I thank God so much for His Spirit and I thank God so much for our very own Pastor Nick here.
Because iron does sharpen iron.
