Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Prayer leader DJ…

Today, we’re going to pray for the peace of God in our lives.

We thank you, Lord, that we have the Prince of Peace living inside of us. Hallelujah. Even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil. Because we have the Prince of Peace.

“A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you (Ps. 91:7 NIV) We have the Prince of Peace. Hallelujah.

We start with the peace of God: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:7). Hallelujah.

And He tells us to pray for the peace for Jerusalem: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee” (Ps. 122:6). What is it about this peace that Jesus wants us to pray for the peace in Jerusalem? Because He wants to have peace with God!

Worship…

Thank you, Lord. You are the Prince of Peace. There is none like you. We worship you. Almighty God, there is none like you.

Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27). So we walk in peace. We pray for our church people.

The peace of God which passes all understanding shall guard your heart and my heart in Christ Jesus. “Peace,” He said, “I leave with you.” Not the peace that comes from this world. But the peace I give you. The joy I give you. The peace I give you…

In the midst of struggle
In the midst of trial
In the midst of concerns of life

Declare peace…

We speak peace to your situation. Peace be unto you, He said. Wherever you go, just say, “Peace be unto you.” Jewish people, whenever they go to somebody’s house, when they leave they say, “Peace be unto you.” Because they know people are going through struggle and no peace. Just say “Peace be unto you.”

He said, above all, guard your heart. All! All the heart! All the issues of life come from this heart, He said. Let the peace of God guard our heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We’re praying for peace this morning. He said to walk in peace. We can walk in peace. We will and we shall walk in peace with people and walk in peace within us. Peace within us! Hallelujah. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

He said to put on the shoes of peace…

“And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace” (Eph. 6:15). Thank you, Lord, that we have shoes of peace, therefore, we walk in peace. Wherever our feet go, we have peace we bring with us. If we go to the grocery store, we bring peace. If we go to the gas station, we bring peace. If we go to work, we bring peace.

It doesn’t mean that we don’t have any problems or struggles or issues of life. We can solve those problems in an easy, easy way. Because we have the Prince of Peace living in us. He lives in us!

Somebody might say, “You know, I want to have peace.” Well, you can’t have peace until you have the Prince of Peace living within you. We have to have peace with God to have a peace within us.

Thank you, Lord, that we have the peace of God because we know the Prince of Peace who lives within us. Thank you, Father.

We speak peace to our minds. Jesus stood up in the boat and declared, “Peace.” And the storm stopped!

Mark 4:35…

35 “On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” 36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” 39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.”

So we declare this morning…

If there is any storm going on in your inner man or in your life, speak peace to it. Peace be unto you. To the storm, we speak, “PEACE. Die down. Be quiet.”

Testimony…

I remember many, many years ago, I was at the closing of a house for someone. Very rich man, very wealthy man. His name was Paul. We’re doing a closing, and we were almost done. And after the closing, we’re sitting on the table. I said, “Paul, if you needed one thing from God, what would you like to have?” And he thought for a few minutes. Remember, he had a lot of money. We sold a lot of houses, businesses. And he goes, “DJ, I want to have peace.”

He didn’t ask for money. He didn’t want me to buy him more houses, fix and sell or do more real estate. But he said, “I want to have peace.”

He is the Prince of Peace.
Be filled with peace this morning.
Wear shoes of peace.
Peaceful sleep.
Peace be at work.
Peace be at home with children.
Peace between husband and wife.
Peace between children and parents.
The peace of God which passes all understanding shall guard your heart and my heart and mind.
It’s about the heart and the mind together in Christ Jesus.
It’s about the mind where all the thoughts are.

He said, “Bring down all vain imaginations”: “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…” (2 Cor. 10:3–5).

Cast down vain thoughts…

All vain thoughts, negative thoughts, defeated thoughts, unproductive thoughts, selfish thoughts, He said to cast them down. Instead, we are to think about things which are good: “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Phil. 4:8).

You have to think about good things, not bad. Think about good. Think about lovely. Think about what is pure. Think about which is healthy, wealthy. Think about those thoughts.

We think about those things which are lovely, pure, not negative.

He also said, “Let no corrupt communication come out of our mouth”: “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers” (Eph. 4:9).

We need to talk peace. Why? To build others up. To edify others according to their need.

Thank you, Father.

We walk in peace, and when we walk in peace, we know other people’s needs. Let’s walk in peace so we can know other people’s need, what their needs are. It could be physical need. It could be spiritual need. It could be money need. It could be any kind relationship need. Hallelujah. Let’s walk in peace today with everyone.

Romans 12:18 says…

“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” It’s up to us. Yeah, we have choice. It is a choice. As it’s up to you and me to live in peace with everyone. You know that it’s not possible to live in peace with everyone. Some people want to cut throat or neck, or whatever. That’s why He said “if it be possible.”

He said, “If it be possible, live in peace with everyone.”

People say, “I have a friend… I know it’s impossible with him.” I thought you’ve been saying that all things are possible to us who believe. So now let’s do it. It is possible to live in peace with all men. Because why? We have the Prince of Peace living within us. And you know what? We’re the only people who can live in peace because we have the Prince of Peace within us. Hallelujah.

You cannot say it’s impossible. No. He said all things are possible for those who believe, you and I, and it’s a choice. It’s a choice.

So Father, we choose.
