Good morning, everybody. It’s a good Friday.
We’ve been saying all year long Psalms 23. So today, we’ll be speaking to Psalm 23 over people.
Everybody who’s watching this morning, we pray all your needs will be met according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. The Word says where two or three are gathered together in His name, all things are possible. We can touch and ask. It shall be done and in heaven. And whatsoever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatsoever we loose an earth, will be loosed in heaven.
Let no corrupt communication come out of your mouth…
The Bible says let no corrupt communication come out of your mouth, but what is good and edifying, building others up. And don’t give place to the devil. No corrupt communication.
I was just reading this morning, Psalm 1:41. David said “Take control of what I say,” control of my tongue, “and keep my lips sealed.” He was asking the Lord, “Help me to speak right word. Keep my lips sealed. Let no corrupt communication come out my mouth.”
I have a quick testimony. At 9 p.m. last night, we are about to close the restaurant. This happens to me many, many different times. Even when I’m doing an open house on Sunday or I’m working at the restaurant. People walk in at 9 p.m.
This guy walks up to me. His name is Brian. He goes, “I just want to come and tell you something.” I said, “How’s it going, Brian?” He said, “I just stopped by to tell you, I’m moving to Oklahoma on Tuesday.” I said, “How so?” He’s a young African American guy, around 30. And he stops by the restaurant, off and on, to pick up lunch so he can go with his son to the park to spend time with him. And I always liked that. He’s spending time with his son. It happened a few months ago. And he started coming by lunch to go with his son. But now he’s leaving. I said, “I thought you were here for your son. How come you’re leaving your son?” He goes, “Well, my circumstances are so bad… this and that… the girlfriend, and so forth. So I’m going to leave on Tuesday.” Some other issues of life somewhere else. I’m thinking, “It’s nine o’clock. I’m tired, I want to go home. Why is he here to tell me that? Why did he came here nine o’clock at night?”
Opportunity is knocking at the door…
So I was talking and said, “Okay.” Then I start asking about his issues. I remember that he walked by the restaurant many, many times. I see him. “Hey Brian!” I’m out on the patio. I found out why he’s walking so many times because next door is a liquor store. He was drinking. They let him go from his job. So we’re talking.
I said, “Well you need to know that you need God in this situation. You need Jesus to help you.”
He said, “What?”
And I said, “32 years ago, I was in the same situation like you. But somebody took me to church.”
He said, “What kind of church?” Now he knows I’m from India. I’ll be talking about a different church.
I said, “Church where Christ is preached.” I said, “I sat there in church and my life was changed. You need Jesus to help you in this situation.”
He said, “My dad used to be a pastor many years ago.” Then he said to me, “You are from India.” He knows many gods. We know many gods in India. Everything is gods there.
And he said, “How could this be possible? You are from India and this happened to you? Do you think it can happen to me?”
I said, “For sure it will happen to you. You need Jesus.” He stood there.
I said, “We are about to leave, but I’m going to pray for you.” I asked the Lord to save Brian and for Jesus to help him, to establish his life… his life has been messed up.” So I prayed at nine o’clock with Brian.
What happened?
God sent him because He knew he needed prayer. He’s one prayer away to get a miracle. So we prayed and he said, “If so, I’ll stop by. I will believe in Him. I’ll walk in His ways. I’ll go to church.” And as I gave our address, I said, “Don’t move. Come over here to Living Word Christian Center.”
I remember Jesus said to Peter, “Follow me and I’ll make you a fisher of men.” What He meant was, follow Me and I’ll change your life. Your life will not be the same.”
So Brian last night, at 9 p.m., give his life to Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

If you’re watching today, maybe you don’t know Jesus Christ. Many people are watching from all over the world. But if there is one accidentally tuning in and you don’t know Jesus Christ. He’s telling you, “Follow Jesu and He’ll change your life.”
