Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Prayer leader Kaye…
Can you spot Me?
The Lord asked me this morning, “Do you know where I am?” And I’m like, “Well, of course I do. You’re in me.” He said, “Can you spot Me in crowds? Can you spot Me working in situations. Can you spot Me where I’m working? Have you trained your eye to spot what the Devil is doing? Or can you spot what I’m doing?”
He shines bright…
And we want to spot what God is doing. We want to have our eyes, “Oh, God is moving over there. God is moving over there.” The Devil wants us to spot what he’s doing. He loves the attention. And God is meek and lowly, but He shines bright. And He wants us to look to what He’s doing.
As the elections come up, we look to God…
There is no comparison. There is no fight. Cindy said it the other day, that at the end of the age, we will look at Satan and say, “Is this who we trembled from? Is this the one that caused the nations to tremble?” So we look to God. And as we pray over the elections coming up, we look to God.
We resist the enemy…
We resist the enemy and he will flee. That’s the word of the Lord. And that is our faith right there. Resist him, and we do by going and voting… And voting for what we believe God is telling us to vote for, and he flees. He flees! Light always dispels darkness. You cannot flip the switch on a room that’s pitch black and get to the other side before the light has got there. You cannot do it.
Prayed…
Father, we thank you for your presence that is just full here in this room.
Your presence that’s full in the voting places in Minnesota on Tuesday.
Your presence is full. It is dispelling darkness all across our land.
Our faith is in you. Our distractions we don’t look at.
The enemy just desperately wants attention. He is an attention-getter.
Don’t give it to him.
Our eyes are on you.
You said the enemy would flee, and you said you would heal our land.
Oh, Father, we picture Brooklyn Park full of new little cafes and beautiful areas.
And violence is just driven out because it cannot stand in the presence of God.
Oh, Father, we thank you for what you’re doing in every area of our lives.
We look to you, Lord.
His faithfulness is new every morning…
God is always saying, “I’m over here. I’m over here. Can you spot Me in that sunrise?” Can you spot God’s faithfulness that comes… Sunrise comes up. It gives warmth to all the land all across the world. His faithfulness comes up every morning and goes down perfectly every night, and it is there the next morning. It is His faithfulness.
Cast your cares on Him. He is faithful to give you everything He’s promised you. Bring to remembrance those things in your heart that He has spoken over the years. Expect that!
Remember those times when God spoke to you…
Those voices that you’ve heard in the nighttime from the Lord, when He speaks and in your heart you know “that was God speaking to me,” and maybe that was 15 years ago or five years ago. Do you still remember it? Keep it in front of your mind and your heart.
Prayed…
Father, we just thank you.
Your presence is over our land.
All nations, tongues. In America, it’s over our land.
The Spirit of the Lord. He’s hovering, He’s hovering, He’s hovering.
Prayer leader Kaye shared…
He’s already showed us how He’s going to do things, because in the beginning, there was chaos. Complete chaos in the very beginning. And Holy Spirit hovered over the chaos, and He’s hovering now. He’s hovering, and all the chaos must leave.
Tell the chaos in your life to “Go!”
Oh, we speak to the chaos that it must leave. If there’s any chaos in your life, just say, “Go! Just go.” I live an orderly, peaceable life, and I go to a church that is orderly and peaceable, and I live in a town that is orderly and peaceable, and I live in a state that is full of order and peace. There is no law against that. There is no law of God against His love pouring forth, changing, transforming, moving, bringing people together.
You have to be able to see it done. You cannot just focus your eyes on what the enemy is doing and see what God is doing. So let’s turn our eyes. If you have things in your life that are full of disorder and chaos, oh, we let the Holy Spirit hover over those things. Hovering over those things.
Prayed…
Thank you, Lord, for bringing peace and order and that chaos doesn’t have a chance.
Prayer leader DJ…
When you were talking with the Devil, I had a scripture coming to me in the last couple days ago. “Give no place to the Devil.” No place! Give no place to the Devil. So I tried to figure out, “How do I give place to the Devil?” He tells us. Where there is strife, there’s confusion and every evil work.
And He said, “How do you give place to the Devil? With our words and our thoughts.” Give no place to the Devil! Let him steal no more.
And then I thought about the Devil. We say, “The Devil did this.” He is a thief. He’s a conniver. But I’m thinking about the people. I met somebody yesterday. They’re doing a great thing. They’re building. They’re doing this, restaurant, all that. And I said, “How come Devil don’t stop them?” Does he only stop the church people? No. They determine what they’re going to do. So do we. The Devil might be doing, but God is doing a great thing. He says He’s doing a new thing. Look around, He forgets the former thing. He’s doing a great and new things.
Open the eyes of your understanding. He’s doing a great thing.
Prayer leader Kaye offers a challenge…
And great things, new things, great things. Okay so I’m going to challenge you. I heard a challenge in what DJ said. Are you prepared to do new things? Are you prepared to let God move in you to do new things? To take on new projects, whatever it is, I don’t know. But those new things, it’s growth in you. Growth in you. He says, “We are planted by the rivers of life, and our leaf does not wither.” It’s Psalm 1. He’s planted us by the rivers of water. Living water. Living water!
I looked again at 1st Corinthians, 12 says, “Whether we are Jews or non-Jews, oppressed or free, we are all privileged to drink deeply of the Holy Spirit,” and He’s that water. I don’t care where you live. I don’t care what the circumstances of your life are like. He is deep water that you can draw from and just drink freely. It doesn’t matter your circumstances. Eyes on Him.
Prayed…
Oh, Lord, help us. You alone are worth of our attention.
You alone are worthy of our worship. Thank you, Lord.
