Pastor Ken…
Welcome. So good to be here on this Wednesday morning to pray. And I just wanted to kind of inject something here before we go back into that song and worship. I want us to really lean in even a little more, even if you’re at home, perhaps you’re on the road listening on your mobile device, wherever you are. Let’s participate and lean into Him today. He’s the God of heaven that we’ve come to meet with. And we ought never to get too familiar or casual about that. Kenneth Hagin used to say that the church was far too casual and disrespectful in many ways. And that if we’re going to see signs and wonders and miracles and the supernatural return in a degree and on a level we’ve not seen before, then there needs to come a new degree of reverence and honor to the things of the Spirit and to God Himself. And so as we go into this song again, I just want to encourage you wherever you are to recognize and remember that we’re meeting not just with sort of far out there being, but we’re meeting here and where you are with the very God of heaven, the holy one… the one who is all encompassing and all glorious, who’s able to solve every issue and every problem that you face to set you free. And in fact, He already has set us free in and through the promise and the provision in the finished work of the cross. So, of course, He deserves our reverence. Of course He deserves our honor. He’s a good, good Father. Amen. And if we truly believe that He is here and where you are and resides on the inside and we’ve come to meet Him and we’re acting on His Word wishes to come boldly, but yet reverently to the throne of grace, the throne of obtaining and receiving, then let’s just really focus in here for a few more moments.
Prayed for the one who feels alone, discouraged…
Jesus, for that one who feels all alone, who feels discouraged and without hope, I pray that you would just make yourself so real to them in this few moments here… that you would show up and walk into people’s circumstances and lives today, not only ours online and in this chapel this morning, but those who are crying out to you, perhaps ones we even know in our families and in our work lives …
we pray that you would just walk through… I see you walking in to situations, walking through the door, so to speak into people’s hearts and lives and families and homes and brokenness and just hopeless perspective some of them have…
Lord, that you would bring light. We pray for light and truth.
Prayer for a God-ordained shaking of our nation…
We pray for a great shaking, a holy God-ordained shaking in our nation, Father, to shake those who are spiritually dead. Those who are stuck somewhere in their lives hopeless once again because of what they’ve been through.
We pray today that there would come an awakening, a holy shaking, that there would come a move of God such that we have not seen before to bring healing, restoration, revival to the Church and to the earth in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we want what you want. We know that you have prophesied and declared in many ways through many decades and years of what is to come and what you want to do.
Prayer as watchers on the wall…
And so as faithful watchers on the wall, as Isaiah 62 describes, we watch and we look and expect, and use our words to say and to invite you, Lord, to come in our generation in our time Lord, in every segment of society, on every nation on the planet, we invite and ask you to come and do what only you can do to turn the tide of evil, to turn the tide of brokenness and sickness and mental illness and tragedy. Hurts and pains and hopelessness and darkness …
Today, Father, we call for heaven’s light. We call for heaven’s game plan. We call for heaven’s will and way to invade the very earth that we dwell in … to invade our churches and our homes and our families and our situations and circumstances.
Prayer for the Lord to come…
We pray that there would be an open way for the Spirit of God to come. Even as the scripture announces, we prepare a highway for our God to come. We want you, Lord, to come. We invite you to come. Yes, we know you’re here, but to come in greater power and greater display… in signs and in wonders in the miraculous and in creative miracles and in the gifts of the Spirit and in the flourishing of your family and your Church in this generation.
Prayer for a raising up of a standard …
We pray for a raising up of a standard in our society, in our culture, in every nation on the planet today… a raising up and erecting and arising of God… even in the midst of contrary circumstances … in the midst of evil… in the midst of darkness… in the midst of hopelessness… in the midst of worst case scenarios…
We pray for a rising up today in hearts, in lives, in leaders and pastors and teachers and the prophets… a rising up in the missionaries, arising up in the pray-ers, rising up in everyday ordinary people of God… a rising up in a spirit of faith, a spirit of prayer, a spirit of tenacity that refuses to put up with and relent to the status quo… but instead to pray out a way for our God to come in new ways, in new levels and degrees of power and intentionality and purpose to our generation…
Prayer about breaking strongholds…
We break the strongholds… we use our words and we send light. we send hope. We are hope dealers, dealers of hope through our prayers. And so we send hope. We send light. We pray for laborers to be equipped and resourced and loosed to go … we loose the angels today. The very angels of heaven, ministering spirits. We call upon you. We call upon you and we commission you and command you on the authority of the mighty One, the name of Jesus to go, to resource, to assist, to help in the movement of God in the earth… across the globe, in every nation …
Prayer for nations…
we loose angels to be released on assignment to Israel, to be released on assignment in Afghanistan… in the Ukraine… we speak peace over the Ukraine… And we pray for wisdom, resolution, for the rising up of the Spirit of God and a standard of God in the midst of that conflict … going on in Eastern Europe, in particular, in Ukraine with Russia and those surrounding areas… we just lift that to you today in the name of Jesus. And we call for the rightness of God, the resolution of God. The aid and assistance of God to be injected into that set of circumstances and the drama that’s playing out on the world stage …
A call for peace…
today, we call for peace in Jesus’ name … not peace as mankind defines it, but the peace of God… we call for an injection of the Spirit of God there… we pray that you would raise up answers that you would raise up men and women who are called of God to diplomatically be inserted, to prayerfully be inserted, to influence and bring about help. Not only help and resolution in that situation. But in addition to bring about revival in the Ukraine, in the Baltic region, in Russia… in those areas… even ancient areas of the world…
Prayer for an awakening…
we pray for a great awakening in Jesus… even in Russia … we remind you of the blood of the martyrs of the Russian people down through the years. And we pray that the seeds of their prayers and their very lives that were expired and given for you in pursuit of God, that those seeds, the seed of the blood of those Russian martyrs and others who have gone before that, that seed, Lord, would germinate and sprout … that there would be a coming forth from the ground, from the earth, precious fruits, precious results of harvest. That there would be a great net… not just one line like a person catches a fish with one single line and fishing pole… but we pray today for a great net to be prepared … a great net to be cast out into that region of the world, Lord, from the north to the south of Russia, from the east and to the west, into the Ukraine … and in all those various nations therein and bordering Russia on the east and Europe on the west… we lift it up to you today, Father
Prayer for souls…
And we pray for souls today. We pray for a great harvest there today. We pray for an equipping and a resourcing and a protecting and a supernatural injection of heaven into those workers on the field there… those missionaries and pastors and pray-ers… we lift them to you today, Father, and we pray for a stirring as we stand with them in the spirit… we pray for a movement of God in their souls to pray like they’ve never prayed before… to preach like they’ve never preached before …
Proclamation…
We go out into the spirit today, Father, and we proclaim salvation… light… revival… we command will “wake up, earth, wake up, nations! Come to the light. We call you to the light in Jesus’ name. Wake up, laborers, go to the fields for don’t you see they’re whitened and ready for harvest …
Locate, locate…
Locate. Locate it. I just lift up that word: Locate… Help us to locate ourselves, Lord… locate … where are you located in the plan of God? Where are you positioned? Where’s your heart? Where are your affections? … Where’s your passion? Where’s your determination. Where’s your faith today? … Lord, align our hearts here in this room, online around the earth today, align our hearts … cause our hearts to come into agreement, to become in concert and in sync with your heart and your ways in what you’re calling for, and what you’re coaching us to pray and what you’re wanting us to say and where you’re wanting us to go and what you’re wanting us to do.
