Morning Prayer Notes for Tuesday, January 25, 2022

  1. “Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist

Pastor Ken …

Opening Prayer…

This morning, Father, we purpose to draw upon that which you provided. We purpose and desire and make it our intention to just receive right now, Lord, the ministry of the Holy Spirit to receive life, light, encouragement. And we pray, Lord, over these next few minutes that you would turn some things in us and around us and in the situations that we pray about…

Welcome and message…

Good morning, everyone. It’s good to have you here on this Tuesday.

This morning, I wanted to start out by reading something that I came across. It was spoken by brother Kenneth Hagin. And it was kind of a tidbit I thought I’d share with you. It’s a good point of encouragement, especially when we’re going through difficult times or challenging days when we don’t really feel all that spiritual. This is a good reminder.

Brother Kenneth E. Hagin quote…

“Sometimes when problems arise which involve me, my family, or friends, I get on my knees and I say, Lord, I don’t know how to pray for this. I don’t know how to pray as I ought. But you know and your Word says that the Holy Spirit is to be my helper in making intercession. [Or in praying, in other words] I trust and believe you to help me. Then I begin to pray in the Spirit groaning. Sometimes I start out to pray within myself without any particular anointing. As Smith Wigglesworth said, ‘I always start out in the flesh, and I wind up in the spirit.’

Some people are waiting for the Holy Ghost to make them do something. They’re waiting for something to overpower them. However, we needn’t wait for some special feeling. We can just know that the Helper is there, and we can ask Him to help us. Then as we believe that He is helping us, He will take hold together with us against that particular problem.”

A river flows out of our belly…

We have a Helper. And as we talked yesterday, we have a source and a supply in the eternal realm. In fact, the Bible reveals that eternity is within us. That there is a river, Jesus said, that flows out of our bellies… out of our inner most being. A river, a supply, a help, a source of wisdom, of grace and strength… And prayer, for that matter!

Our soul is its own garden…

I think I mentioned yesterday, God will grant prayers to us to pray. He will coach us. He will inspire us to pray and say certain things that shift the momentum in our lives, that shift the experience or the state of our soul. The Bible explains that your soul is its own garden. Its own plot of ground… your soul, your mind, your will, your emotions, your innermost being. And it’s up to us to tend to it, to cultivate it, to see to it that it is nourished and watered and weeds are plucked out. Amen? Because out of your innermost being are to flow rivers of living water.

Ephesians 1:3 in King James…

There is a passage in Ephesians 1:3, “Blessed be the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.”

Ephesians 1:3 in the Passion translation…

“Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate him[d] with all our hearts!”

Believers must steward their inner hearts

That’s a good reminder this morning. We’ve been blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ. And I have found that each and every day, my first task is to remind myself of my new self. That I am new… a new creature that never existed before… that I’m made new in Him. Amen. That I’m a possessor of certain rights and privileges. Because your soul, your inner life, will go its own way at times because of the circumstances around us, because our attention sometimes gets captivated over on something that’s negative. But one of the most important habits of every pray-er, every believer is to be a steward of your own inner life, your own soul, to let the Holy Spirit coach you in speaking over your heart. Amen. Being your own best cheerleader, stirring yourself up in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.

Ivy League studies on praying in tongues…

This is a good reminder as well, but even scientifically, researchers and scientists in the past decade in a number of Ivy League studies have found that prayer and in particular praying in other tongues in a heavenly prayer language unlocks a part of your brain that releases certain hormones and has a certain effect that clearly has a positive effect on your soul and on your mind in particular. And that people that pray consistently in other tongues don’t tend to deal with any mental illnesses or depression or lots of other things that we could say. God has given us a supernatural flow.

Each day is its own container …

In fact, none of heaven has been withheld from us. That’s good. You see, each day is its own container as far as our lives are concerned. One day doesn’t translate to the next when it comes to your spiritual supply and your manna from heaven. Each day is a prayer you have to be intentional to pour into yourself, to refresh yourself, to renew your consciousness… to speak over your inner life… to tend to your soul… to run the enemy out at times… to command fear to cease … discouragement to go. We’re to go to His throne for ourselves first and foremost.

Emergency flight instructions… help yourself first!

What do the stewardess tell those traveling on the flight in the commercial airlines to do first? In the event of a sudden loss of oxygen or cabin pressure, put the mask on yourself first before you help anybody else including your own children or family members. Put it on yourself. Go to the throne for yourself for what’s going on inside of you. The Bible says if any is afflicted, going through a tough time and suffering in their lives, let him/her pray. What’s so difficult about that? I don’t mean to be condemning or flippant, and I don’t mean that we shouldn’t ask others to pray and agree with us. We should. But this is an hour when we have to consistently engage with our Heavenly Father, stay in divine and living contact with Him each and every day. Amen.

We are to live from another realm … from the realm of God

Because there is a divine flow that God has placed your name on, that is to bring sustenance to your life. Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. As I was teaching yesterday, the Bible’s so clear. We’re not called to live for something. We’re called to live from something. And that from something is a position and a possession that is jointly shared with Jesus Himself. In other words, everything Jesus possesses and everything Jesus occupies in His position in, we share with Him. We are to live from another realm… from the realm of God. We’re to go to that realm, live from that realm, and then do what we do in this realm from that place.

The throne is a place of obtaining…

And when we go to the throne of grace, we obtain, according to the scripture… you could say the throne is a place of obtaining. Where when we seek Him, when we come to Him, we’re to receive. He wants to give! He wants to supply. He wants us to take advantage of and learn to live in the flow of God.

And one way that flow begins to grow and we begin to habitually live there is through prayer, through becoming a student of the Word and one who meditates on the Word. Amen? And it’s in this flow where we just read Ephesians 1, we experience every spiritual blessing and every spiritual supply that God has made available for you specifically in your life, your calling, your relationships, your finances, your purpose, your assignment on the earth.

Heaven is a flow…

Heaven is not just a place. Heaven is a flow. It’s a flow of life. It’s a flow of wisdom. It’s a flow of success as God defines success. It’s a flow that will make the grass greener in your front yard. If we take the account of the Old Testament scripture, when the Ark of the Covenant landed in the front yard of a certain person, everything seemed to grow better and was more fruitful because the Ark of the Covenant represented the presence of God. Come on now! The presence of God is not to be a one-time experience for us as prayers or believers. We’re to be a people wholly filled and flooded and reverberating with the presence of God, flowing with the presence of God filled and overflowing with the presence of God.

People should know there’s something about us that’s different…

So that people would know there’s something about us that’s different. The last time I checked the Bible says that we are to be set apart from all of the other peoples on the planet, earmarked of God, set apart, unique, called, consecrated. Why? Because of the stamp of the presence of God. Not because we once professed Christ, but because we “live in the flow.” Because the presence of God is not down deep somewhere latent, but because it’s rising up in us and flowing out of us. Out of our language, into our relationships, out of our creativity and into every aspect of our lives. There is a place God wants us to get to where that flow is so prominent that everything we touch prospers. Like the Bible says, everything you set your hand to prospers and succeeds. Every prayer you pray is answered. Every hand you lay on a person they receive and miracles happen. But we’ve got to learn how to go to the throne, to the place of obtaining, to yield to the Spirit of that flow on the inside of us. That He would move through us and flow through us, affecting our thinking, our praying, what we do in our decision-making, the work that we do naturally in every aspect of our lives. So that goodness and mercy are your constant companions, not as a result of how good you are and how much you attend church, and how much scripture you read, but because of the presence of God. The presence of God is a divine flow. It is heaven on earth! And His flow comes from His throne. And it’s not limited to a geographical place. He’s already blessed you with a divine flow.

You have to contend for the flow… by choice

But another thought I jotted down last night was that you have to contend for this flow. The Bible says that we’re to contend for the faith. We have to contend for a heavenly flow in your life. How? By choice. We’re not called to live by chance or circumstance. We’re called to live by choice. It’s that simple. By choosing what we’re going to let come out of our mouths … by refusing to speak worst-case scenarios and doubt and negativity and rehearsing the past. Instead, choosing to speak life.

Choose this day whom you will serve… you must choose!

The Bible records that He’s put before us death and life. Choose life! Choose this day whom you will serve, it says. Choose to speak words of faith. Choose to let your lips utter inspired phrases and sentences in the Spirit that are drawn directly from God’s playbook for your life. Choose to worship and proclaim and declare the goodness of God so that the atmosphere around you and your home and your family and where you go begins to reverberate and pulsate with the divine energy and flow of heaven.

The Church is called to be a corridor…

The Church is to be not just a blip on the radar screen of what’s going on in the earth. We’re called to be a corridor. A corridor flow. A corridor of healing. A corridor of entrance for people to find Jesus. A corridor for creativity. A corridor for breakthrough. A corridor for prosperity and blessing.

I’ll repeat what I said yesterday just because it’s good. Like John Lake said, we’re to be a people who go way out into the realm of God in song, in worship, in prayer, in fellowship with Him and come back perhaps with a message, come back with one of those spiritual blessings that has been already laid up and put in store for you in heavenly places in Christ. In one of those heavenly storehouses. They are real!

But God is endeavoring to inspire and teach and lead us to become a people that goes there first each day to the heavenly dimension. And comes back with one of those blessings. And comes back with an answer. And comes back having opened up the atmosphere over your home, your community, over a nation… that there would be a corridor, a pathway for our God to come and have His way in this generation. Thank you, Father.

Colossians 3:1 in KJV…

In Colossians 3:1, it says, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above…”

We are aliens from another planet…

It’s this other realm, this other world. We’re supposed to live like a people from another world. You could say we are called to be “other worldly people.” Scripture even says we’re aliens on this planet. It’s not the ones in those disc shape or saucer shape things that occasionally show up on the news! With green skin and three fingers, and kind of odd looking. No! We’re the aliens actually. We’re to live as a people from another planet, the planet of heaven… with a divine flow and a holy boldness and a determined purpose. Receiving our instructions from our leader, Jesus, via the Holy Spirit.

But in Colossians 3:1, it says “If you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above.” In other words, from our home, heaven, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. Now catch this. Verse two says, “Set your mind.” Set “your” mind. Not just my mind or your friend’s mind, but “your” mind. This is something you have to do every day: set your mind. I think it’s the New Living or the Amplifies that says “set your mind and keep it set on things above” or things in that other realm, the spirit realm, the spirit dimension. As Pastor Lynne says, when you open His Book, He opens His mouth. But you got to open His book. “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Amen.

Keep your mind set on the flow that originates from heaven…

So what is He saying? Well, He’s saying a lot of things here. He’s saying, first of all, keep your mind set on the flow that originates from heaven. And don’t participate in any other flow that doesn’t come from Him. You can choose not to participate in a negativity flow, a distraction flow… all that’s being reported on the news, the chaos, the turmoil, the violence, the upheaval. Yes, I know they’re real and there’s real needs there, but the enemy is just trying to stir things up to distract us. He wants to keep us down into a place where we only live out of a worldly, fleshly, carnal, low-level flow. But Colossians is saying you don’t have to participate in that. Keep your mind set on the higher, on what the Spirit is saying, on the standard of what God has promised on what God’s Word says.

You will start to manifest the results of that flow…

And as you live from that flow, you will start to manifest the results of that flow. Jesus lived in that flow, right? And as a result, signs and wonders and miracles were so numerous that the Bible says that all the volumes of the world could not contain all the works that Jesus accomplished in just three and a half years of ministry. Come on now! This realm is temporary, passing away, limited, small, shallow, corrupt, broken. It’s a broken system, a broken flow. But God has called us to live from a place that is unlimited and full of everything God intends. So don’t participate in any other flow that doesn’t come from Him.

Romans 14:16–17 … the flow we’re called to participate in…

And lastly, Romans 14:16–17. It says that the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. In other words, this is the flow that we’re called to participate in. This is the flow of the Holy Ghost, the flow that God offers us. Righteousness, peace, and joy.

I have found that when you get in that flow of prayer, that flow of presence, that flow of God and His Word, and you make that your consistent purpose each day, that so many things just get taken care of. So many issues in our lives internally, emotionally, naturally, relationally seems to just kind of fall off. I’m not saying there aren’t steps that you have to take and things you need to do, of course. But God has designed for His will and goodness and blessings and purposes and effective prayer to flow from that place in Him. Amen.

Prayed…

So, Father, we thank you this morning that we can participate in that flow from heaven today.

We just pray and agree today, Lord, that you would just cause us to be captivated by what you’re saying to us now and how we’re to live. You’re calling us to a whole other way of living. Not just living down here in a low place, but you’re leading and prompting and inspiring us to live higher and deeper and wider.

And so we just lift our hearts to you and just say, Holy Spirit, teach us your ways.

Prayer for the Church at large…

We pray over the church today at large, that you would teach us your ways that you would expand our capacity to receive and that you would help us to live and move and have our being in the river of God.

I pray today for each and every person, Lord, under the sound of my voice that a divine flow would come forth from them today. A fresh flow of the Spirit that every hindrance, every blockage, anything that’s damning up the flow of God, that that would be broken up in Jesus’ name,

And we just pray and agree today for a supernatural flow of righteousness, peace, and joy… the heaven flow to flow from our spirits today … to flow in our lives today.

There are some who’ve been frustrated in their prayer life, Lord, I sense that. I pray for them today that your heart would be opened up. I pray for a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit and a fresh evidencing and a fresh flow of praying in the Spirit today…

We pray for a divine flow for people who are struggling in their emotions.

Encouragement to seek baptism …

If you haven’t received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the result of praying in another per language or another language, I encourage you just to reach out and just ask for it right now. And I pray that the Lord would just douse you with the spirit

Prayer to break strongholds…

We break every stronghold today… in individual lives and families right now … in children… in churches right now…

We pray for a breaking, a breaking of the demonic assignments that have been operating … a dissipating of darkness.

Every tie that binds and has caused us to lose momentum or halt our progress in God… we pray for a breaking of those chains today… a release from strongholds today… I declare that over this prayer community… I declare that over the Church today… mystery …

People who have been to stuck in a place who have remained in the dark… confused and dazed… and not knowing what to do … We speak light to them today… hope to them today … we break off deception … release them… we command them to be released in Jesus’ name…

Word came forth…

I sense that we need to put in His hands every preconceived idea that you have in regard to what God can do in your life or what you think you’re supposed to do and called to do. Just turn that over to Him. Any point of frustration, worry, trauma, panic… just release that to Him. Just say, “Lord, I just give this to you. I can’t handle this. This is not for me to process. This to be put in your hands.”

Let him take every burden, every weight, every fear, every ounce of trauma, every hurtful place, every hurtful thing, what that person did, what that person said. You weren’t created to carry it or shoulder it. No, you’re called and prompted by the Holy Spirit right now to turn that over to Him. He wants His church and His people to be free and liberated. He who the Son sets free is to be free indeed.

Prayer asking the Holy Spirit to sweep our souls…

So we just turn those things over to you, Lord. We invite the Holy Spirit to sweep our souls, just clean and move through us with a fresh breath of heaven.

Do you sense that? It’s just a moving of God right now?

A word to those suffering loneliness…

Yeah, loneliness. Just going to call it out. Loneliness. Somebody is experiencing loneliness. It’s just been like your companion. Just bring that to Him. Profess that to Him. Yield and release that to Him. He wants it all. He doesn’t want just part of it. He wants all of it.

And for some, you just need to open the closet door. You haven’t been able to bear opening the closet door, but it’s time. It’s time to open your closet door, so to speak, in your soul and just let it all fall out. You might say, “Well, Ken, what does this have to do with prayer and praying?” Well, everything. Because much of the plan of God for our days on the earth is God preparing us to do His work in us so that we can be freed up to flow with Him and pray as we are called to pray and accomplish the assignments were called to accomplish.

But we can’t do that covered over, blocked up, stopped up, or constipated in our souls. (excuse the bad analogy.) I didn’t premeditate this, but just sense that the Lord is wanting us to open our hearts to Him this morning in a new way. He cares. He sees. He knows the past, the present, the future. He knows that it hurts. He knows that it’s tough. He knows that it’s lonely at times, but He’s saying if you’ll just open up to Me and just let it all come to Me, I’ll work a work in you that will transform you and change you and cause you to be made whole and completely made into another person.

Prayer for people to stop striving…

So, Father, I just pray for people … help them to stop in their striving… help us to stop in our worrying and distracted ways and to simply just cease … and just know that you’re God and that you’re gently loving us by instructing us to open our hearts and in a new place.

Release, release, release… speak liberty to captives, emotional captives, mental captives, captives to the past … captives to what happened… I speak peace and release in the name of Jesus … we give it to you… thank you, Father… we pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

God bless you guys. Thank you for being a part of Tuesday prayer. Have a great day. See you soon. God bless.
