Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Good morning. Pastor Folu asked me to share a little bit of what the Lord’s been speaking to me about. Recently I’ve seen breakthrough in my family for years of prayer that can only be God. And the same day I heard this scripture. It reminded me that He’s always involved and aware and aligning and it isn’t up to me. But the scripture encouraged me and I wanted to share it with you guys because I hope it encourages you.

Proverbs 3 from the Passion translation…

It says, “My child, If you truly want a long and satisfying life, never forget the things that I’ve taught you. Follow closely every truth that I’ve given you. Then you’ll have a full rewarding life. Hold on to the loyal love and don’t let go and be faithful to all that you’ve been taught. Let your life be shaped by integrity, with truth written upon your heart. That’s how you’ll find favor and understanding with both God and man. You’ll gain the reputation of living life well. Trust the Lord completely and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart, rely on Him to guide you and He will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with Him in whatever you do, and He will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all. For wisdom comes when you adore Him with undivided devotion. And avoid everything that’s wrong. Then you’ll find the healing refreshment and your body and spirit long for. Glorify God with all your wealth, honoring Him with your first fruits, with every increase that comes to you. Then every dimension of your life will overflow with blessings from an uncontainable source of inner joy. My child, when the Lord God speaks to you, never take His words lightly and never be upset when He corrects you. For the Father’s discipline comes only from His passionate love and pleasure for you. Even when it seems like His correction is harsh, it’s still better than any Father on earth gives to his child. Blessings pour over the ones who find wisdom for they have obtained living understanding. As wisdom increases, a great treasure is imparted, greater than many bars of refined gold. It is more valuable commodity than gold and gemstones for there is nothing you desire that could compare to her. Wisdom extends to you long life in one hand and wealth and promotion in the other. Out of her mouth flows righteousness. In her words release both law and mercy. The ways of wisdom are sweet, always drawing you into the place of wholeness. Seeking for her brings the discovery of untold blessings, for she is the healing tree of life to those who taste her fruits. The Lord laid the earth’s foundations with wisdom’s blueprints by His living understanding. All the universe came into being. By His divine revelation, He broke open the hidden fountains of the deep bringing secret springs to the surface as the mist of the night dripped down from heaven. My child never drift off course from these two goals for your life, to walk in wisdom and discover your purpose. Don’t ever forget how they empower you. For they strengthen you inside and out and inspire you to do what’s right. You’ll be energized and refreshed by the healing they bring. They give you living hope to guide you. And not one of life’s tests will cause you to stumble. You’ll sleep like a baby safe and sound. And your rest will be sweet and secure. You’ll not be subject to terror for it will not terrify you, nor will the disrespectful be able to push you aside because God is your confidence in times of crisis, keeping your heart at rest in every situation.”

I hope that that encourages you. When it seems like at times it looks like nothing’s happening or moving, just know that His hand is always working. And to just stay steadfast and stand on the Word. So thank you.

Pastor Brandon…

I’m going to ask us to do something that our sound engineer is going to hate. And it may really screw with the stream a little bit. But sometimes we do things in the ministry to try and meet a standard or have things look a certain way or be accomplished a certain way. Out of the goodness of our hearts, we try and be all things to all people. But when I sing that not only from Him are all things, but to Him… We’re not here to impress someone or to meet some sort of standard. We’re not worried about the way we look, even the way that we sound, as if the way that we look or sound could inhibit the Lord from doing what He wants to do anyway.

So maybe I’m just preaching to myself and maybe I need to come outside of my shell or outside of my box a little bit. But I have a feeling I’m not the only one who has expectations that are put on them, who has outcomes that are desired. And I know I’m not the only one who’s held accountable to hit certain marks or reach certain goals. Good things. But how we look and how we sound, it just isn’t important.

People don’t come to Jesus because of the way that we look or the way that we sound. And so, Lord, we don’t come to you worried about the way that we look or the way that we sound or the things that we’ve done or haven’t done. We come to you today, Jesus, just like you came into this world in a dark, messy, loud, uncomfortable situation. I believe you did that to show us that we could come to you that way. The same way that you came to us, Jesus. We just come to you, needing you to hold us, to feed us, to provide for us, to surround us.

And so what I’m going to ask that we do is I’m going to ask that we just turn the volume up loud enough to just distract us. Distract people. Distract me to maybe get us out of our kingdoms and into those caves, those manger settings where miracles come. So out there I’m just going to ask our sound engineer just to turn it up just short of feedback. Maybe go against everything that you’ve been taught and everything that has been told of what’s supposed to happen. And just like Jesus in the arms of Mary, can we just let the Lord hold us now and surround us now?

[Group continues to worship…]

Pastor Folu…

Is Pastor Heather here today? Hallelujah. Saints, what Pastor Brandon is saying… I was just thinking about this last night. For those of us that were here last Monday, not yesterday. The service was over five hours long, right in this chapel. And talking about protocol, talking about willing to extend oneself… I mean, I saw things at that service that I’ve not seen in a long time. I saw a Holy Ghost collision up here. Two ladies bumping into each other and one of them getting healed. Had been dealing with months on end of a neck pain.

And then while that is going on, I see a demon being cast out right here. And then Pastor Ginny is over here with Pastor Heather and my wife, and they got something going over here that Dr. Tan said, “Everybody end up over here.” So a bunch of people end up on the floor over here. It was just like a holy chaos.

And I said, “Lord, help us.” We started at 6:45. At 11:47, I’m taking Dr. Tan and his wife home. Five hours plus later. And people are still here, still hungry. And so many people got healed. And the person that the demon was cast out of is somebody that used to be part of the welcome team leadership years ago, him and his wife. I’m like, what happened to this man? But in that environment that was created, there was a manifestation of that Spirit, and he was dealt with.

So Pastor Brandon, you hit some things there. You really did… that God will help us. And Dr. Tan said some things when he was here that just our willingness to not look dignified, our willingness to sing off key, whatever, you know. One of the reasons I asked if Pastor Heather was here is that as she was sitting here next to Pastor Jeannie, she said, “This thought came: put your head on her lap.” And she’s like, “No, I’m not going to do that. I’m not going to put my head on Pastor Ginny’s lap.” And so she fought with that for a minute. But as the Lord would have it, I guess some things happened and before she knew it… Pastor Ginny, why don’t you come up here. I know you don’t want to say anything, but just say something, please.

Pastor Ginny…

It was great. I don’t know how to explain it. I don’t know how many of you were here when Brother Hagin was here years ago when revival broke out at the church. And this has been something we’ve been believing for, for a very long time. It is just the supernatural flow of the Holy Spirit.

Now I can attest that I am not somebody… to want to be in front of the camera or to be out front. You get to that point when you’re so hungry, you don’t care. You just don’t care. And if you open your heart up, scripture that I have been meditating on is when Jesus got ready to ascend, He told His disciples that He would leave His peace, His joy. And so many times, especially now in this world, there’s so many negative things, so many things that are happening out in the realm of the world that affects our daily lives and our feelings about things. The “Where’s God” question. We can’t allow ourselves to go there because Jesus said He would send us the comforter and no greater joy. Sometimes we want to feel it. Sometimes we want circumstances to change before we allow ourselves to feel it. And we just can’t. We have to step out in faith and just trust that God is going to do what He promised He would do. And that’s what happened that night.

Interestingly enough, I wasn’t going to go. I just wasn’t going to go. And my husband and I at the last moment decided, “yep, let’s do this.” And so we went. And it was interesting because when I was talking to Pastor Heather afterwards, she said, “Yeah, and I was so tired.” And sometimes it’s in those moments that God can really, really minister to you. There’s a lot of things that God has been working with me, in me, through me to accomplish. And I’m not quite ready to share all those things. But it was awesome. And so even if you don’t feel it, even if you don’t see it, even if you’re not experiencing it, just take a deep breath and just let God do it in you.

Pastor Folu…

Thank you, ma’am. So much. So Saints, last night. In getting ready for this… The word struggle. Struggle. And I can relate to that. I struggled with a few things over the years but listen to the Word of the Lord. We’re not going to go through all of this. We’re just going to go through a limited part of it.

It says, “Yes, I am in the future, and my desire is to see to it that you don’t have to struggle.” I love this next word here. “I’ve done the struggling for you. Whatever you are going through, I’ve been there. Whatever you’ve not seen, I know. And as time progresses, I will reveal these things to you if you will take time to be still and know that I am God.”

That’s good right there. I think we’re just going to camp here right now. As I was thinking about this, I went back to an old time dictionary, the King James dictionary definition of the word struggle. And this one in particular stands out to me: “to labor in pain or anguish, to be in agony, to labor in any kind of difficulty or distress.” Saints, our Lord and our Savior is saying that He doesn’t want you and I to struggle. Why? Because He has done all the struggling for us.

And as I was thinking about this, I said, “Lord, so many of us struggle with different things.” But that’s not God’s desire. He’s done the struggling for us. So here’s what I would like us to do corporately. And the Lord gave us an answer here. It says if we’ll take the time to be still, that God would help each and every one of us in these days that we’re in to take the time to be still. But I believe there’s an anointing here this morning to break that. So if you’re struggling with anything… It could be work related, it could be family related. I believe the Lord wants to release you from that, so that from today onwards, you can believe God. Because this is such a pattern of life. This is the status quo for most people just to struggle. It’s just that, that’s part of life. We struggle. But no, we don’t have to struggle. We can embrace what Jesus is saying more and more here. That, no, He’s done the struggling for us.

And I know this might take some time to get into our spirit because we’re so well acquainted with it. Struggling over here, struggling over there, and then by the end of the day, by the end of the week, by the end of the year, it’s like, “Oh my goodness, I’m so tired.” But if you’ll be honest with yourself… as I was preparing for this last night, He’s helped me. And you might stand for other people too. I believe there’s an anointing here for this. I’m actually going to ask Pastor Brandon to come down and be part of laying on of hands for the people that respond. So if that is you or you know somebody that you want to stand in the proxy for, please come on up. We’ll lay hands on you and believe God. Hallelujah. Bless the Lord.

Come on up, saints. There’s some people sitting down that you’re being very proud right now. And I’ll say this, for those that you know you’re dealing with this and you’re refusing, I’m not trying to put any guilt on anybody. You don’t have to come forward. But as a minister of God, I’m saying this to you. If you don’t humble yourself before God, He will not be able to exalt you in due time.

Like I said, the Lord has dealt with me last night about this. So I’m just like with everybody that is standing up here. But I believe that today, Saints, today, the struggle is over because the Lord Jesus Christ struggled for you and I. We don’t have to struggle no more. We don’t have to struggle no more. Hallelujah.
