Good morning, everyone. Good to see you. To our online family and audience, good to have you with us.
Today is a new day and God is up to something big. Amen. He’s up to something good in your life and my life, in the earth.
Jesus is the Great Intercessor…
And we’re going to enter into a time of worship here for a little bit. And then just flow as the Spirit of God leads. He has some specific things, as I often say, He wants to collaborate with us on. Jesus, after all, is the Great Intercessor. And prayer really simply defined is choosing to align ourselves and connect with the Great Intercessor, that being Jesus. Because it’s His heart that prays. It’s His heart that has certain purposes and plans and intentions that He wants to bring into reality in your life, in your home, and in the earth. And He does so as we simply connect with His heart. Right?
The tuning fork example…
I like to use the example back in the day… maybe you had this experience in high school where maybe in a physics class, the teacher would strike a tuning fork on the side of a desk. And that tuning fork would vibrate at a certain frequency. I remember one particular physics teacher did that, struck that tuning fork, and then he brought another tuning fork that he had not struck, that was, in other words, just stationary or there was no movement in it. And he brought it close to the other tuning fork that he had struck that was vibrating at a certain frequency and the frequency of the one tuning fork was transmitted to the stationary tuning fork. And that tuning fork began to vibrate at the same frequency as the one that was struck.
And I always think of that because that’s what occurs when we draw close to Him. When we welcome and acknowledge and are aware of the presence and the abiding of the Holy Spirit on the inside of us, when we draw close to Him.
God invites us today…
He’s inviting you online today, wherever you’re joined with us from wherever you got in this chapel. Most importantly, God is inviting us to come close to Him, to come boldly right to His throne of grace that we might obtain, that our hearts might vibrate at the frequency of the Great Intercessor. Ooh, that’s good.
And when your heart begins to vibrate and is influenced by the spirit of prayer, the Holy Spirit, the spirit of Jesus, then prayer gets really easy. It’s truly organic and direct from the heart of God. And therefore effective. Because we’re asking in line with the will of God because we are pulsating, we are vibrating with His presence and His heart and His will and His ways.
We are called to this hour…
And I’ll maybe get into this a little bit later, but as I said the other day, we are called to this hour. We are called to this time to be an answer, to be a light, to be an influence, not just in what we can do naturally as humans, but what we can do supernaturally when God takes the limits off us. And because He’s called us to this hour, one thing I’m certain of is that He is extending an invitation for us as the church and you and I as individuals to step up into a new place. Now.
God is doing things now…
Sue said before we started, “Now. God is doing things now.” We need to start declaring “Now faith is.” Now revival is. Now breakthrough flows and begins to precipitate in my circumstances. Now money is moving and shaking and flowing to me today for the plan of God to be executed.
And so make no mistake about it, God is extending an opportunity because we’re called to this hour. Make no mistake about that. You have been called to this time where you’re at, God has called you. And to do what He’s called you to do in this time of generation will require an air of supernaturalness. In other words, God’s anointing, getting up out of your belly and up onto who you are as a person, up on your decision-making processes.
The reservoir of the supernatural from within you…
When you pray, you are drawing from the well of God, the reservoir of the supernatural from within you. You’re drawing it up and out and into your understanding, up and out and onto your body. The anointing is something that God wants to get on you and be in your home and accessible and functioning and operating to give you an advantage. And after all, it’s recorded in the gospels that Jesus said it’s expedient… it’s to your advantage… it is actually profitable that I go away. Which I’m sure caused His disciples to do like “tilt.” What? Go away? You just got here! We’ve been looking for you for thousands of years. It’s been prophesied and written in the Old Testament that Messiah would come, that God would send a redeemer. And now you’ve been here barely 33 years and you’re saying, I got to go.
Well, Jesus knew that it was profitable for Him to go back to the Father to be an intercessor in the spiritual realm so that He could then send the down payment of yours and my salvation. That being God, the Holy Spirit, who as I like to highlight, is co-equal to God the Father and God the Son. He carries the weight of God the Father, the providence and the wisdom and the power of God the Father. He carries the empathy and the mercy and the fire of Jesus.
Jesus said, “If I go, then I’ll send the Holy Spirit and He will be with you. He will be in you.” So know, understand that now is the time God is wanting to give you, as I like to say, a “level up.” He’s wanting to grant you a new place, a new level of wisdom. A new level of functioning with God the Holy Spirit, so that we no longer just go around day by day operating in the limitations of our humanity. Instead that we step up and step into the fullness of the supernatural ability of the Holy Spirit. Then our decisions would be influenced more and more by God the Holy Spirits.
Oh, you would be surprised. You will be surprised in the coming days how much more you experience the favor of God. How many more divine appointments show up in your everyday, going around doing what you do life. When you choose to acknowledge the Holy Spirit, when you choose to go slow and look inward…look to Him. Recognize that He’s there… He is with us. Ever present.
He comes to reveal…
As I said the other day, the Bible reveals that He comes to reveal, to transmit, and to disclose the will of the Father… for you and yours, to grant you supernatural strategies, to give you hope, and courage, perpetually to do what He’s called you to do. To cause an ever-flowing stream of prayer to rise from within you. Prayers that He intends to answer… prayers that He intends to utilize to release His grace and His fullness and His glory and His redemption and His will in lives, in situations, in nations, in this time.
The Lord is offering you an opportunity…
So just know that right now. I’m just kind of echoing what I feel like the Spirit of God is saying this morning. He’s saying, I offer you… The Lord is saying, “I offer you an opportunity to receive a level up in your ability, in your discernment, in your resource, in all that I have for you.
Prayed…
So, Father, we just thank you this morning for your wisdom and grace. We thank you that we enter into this time of worship this morning by reminding ourselves that we’re not here alone on the earth with just a few of our friends. You are here with us. You go before us today. No matter how crazy or chaotic our lives have been or how unknown the future might seem, we know, Lord, that you’ve gone before us to prepare a way. We know that you are able to be our rear guard and be the one who leads us ever forward.
