Father, we thank You for this day
Today is the day that You have made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it

Thank You for a greater revelation of the unseen realm

We declare the goodness and promises of God
Father, we will contend all the way to the very end
Thank You for Your faithfulness; we ask You to grant unto us a greater supply
Praying for a supernatural stirring up in the hearts of Your people

Worship leader…
Well, good morning, everybody. Happy Tuesday. Thanks for coming. We’re so excited to spend another morning together, praying and worshiping the Lord and starting the day off right. We have Pastor Folu with us this morning, so that’s exciting. Really excited to hear what you’re going to share.
Prayer…
Lord, we love and honor you. We come before you with humble hearts this morning saying that we’re in need of you. We need your grace. We need your love. We need your words of life to penetrate our hearts and renew our minds. And so, God, we pray this morning that you would come meet us wherever we’re at. Lord, come and meet us this morning. We pray, God, come and stir up love and passion for Jesus. Come and awaken us on the inside this morning by the Spirit of God.
Pastor Folu…
I think it is fitting to talk about how I came to be up here this morning and how my three friends are up here. None of us knew we were going to be up here 24 hours ago. But it is good that we’re in a church that is led by the Spirit of God, and that is something that I’m so grateful for about this church… where the Spirit of God takes preeminence.
Pastor Ken reached out to me and said, “I’m scheduled to do morning prayer tomorrow morning. But I just felt impressed to reach out to you and see if you would like to take the prayer meeting.” He said, “No pressure. I’m ready to go. But I just felt impressed by the Lord to ask you.”
And I said, “Wow.” I said, “Actually, brother, yes, I’ll take you up on that. I do have some things in my heart.”
So I started planning and reached out to my friends that are up here. I said, “Hey, I’d like you guys to support me and be up here with me.”
And then last night, after I thought everything was prepared, at about 7 p.m., the Holy Spirit said, “Son, do you mind tweaking that?” I said, “Lord, I already sent everything out. The brother has already loaded everything.” He said, “But this is what I would like. I know you already believe you got a direction, and yes, that can be for another time. But I’m giving you further direction now.”
I said, “Okay.” So I reached out to my dear brother and said, “What do you have planned? Can we table that and get these scriptures ready?” And he did. So I’m very grateful to the Lord for that sense.
So here’s the thrust…
So here’s the thrust of what the Lord gave me for today, saints. It has to do with gifts. So the theme is our persevering and the gifts that come from heaven as a result of us doing the work of the kingdom. I listened to this word of the Lord. So this is from the Lord by His Spirit. The Lord of Lords brought this a few years ago.
Word of the Lord…
“But for every one step you take, because I call you, I’ll give you two steps of joy. And I will repay. And I will repay in fold after fold after fold. And you’ll know My grace, My power, My work, My name, My Son, My life, My Spirit, My ways, My pathway, My earth, and My heavens. And you’ll soon know Me as the resurrection.”
Saints, I want us to look at that a little bit…
What the Lord is saying to you and I as a result of our being faithful… as a result of us putting our hands… as a result of us persevering in the service of the Lord.
The missing ingredient—joy!
“But for every step you take, because I call you. I’ll give you two steps of My joy.” Saints, let’s just think about that for a minute. Joy. A lot of people kill themselves. They have all kinds of money, but this ingredient here is missing and they take their own lives. And the Lord starts off this wonderful word here saying, “I’ll give you two steps of joy.” And then He says this, Saints. He says, “And I will repay.” And like if that was not strong enough, He goes on to further emphasize this.
“And I will repay in fold after fold after fold. And you’ll know My grace. You’ll know My power. You’ll know My work. You’ll know My name. You’ll know My Son. You’ll know My life. You’ll know My Spirit. You’ll know My ways. You’ll know My pathway. You’ll know My earth and My heavens. And you’ll soon know Me as the resurrection.”
He gave me some specific scriptures for today…
“For God is not unrighteous as to forget or overlook your labor and the love which you have shown for His name’s sake in ministering to the needs of the saints, His own consecrated people as you still do.
The liberal person shall be enriched and he who waters shall himself be watered.
Let your love be sincere, a real thing. Hate what is evil. Loath all ungodliness. Turn in horror from wickedness, but hold fast to that which is good.
Love one another with brotherly affection as members of one family, giving precedence and showing honor to one another.
Never lack in zeal and in earnest endeavor. Be aglow and burning with the Spirit serving the Lord.
Rejoice and exalt in hope. Be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation.
Be constant in prayer.
Contribute to the needs of God’s people, sharing in the necessities of the saints. Pursue the practice of hospitality. Whatever may be your task, walk at it heartily from the soul as something done for the Lord and not for men, knowing with all certainty that it is from the Lord and not from men that you will receive the inheritance, which is your real reward. The one whom you are actually serving is the Lord Christ the Messiah.
Deliverance and healing in the financial area…
So saints, I want us to just go before His presence about these things. Because He’s ministering right now. But before we go into much prayer about it, I feel one of the things the Lord said about this year was that this year was going to be the year of great healings. And He has been doing that quite a bit. I know you have been seeing healings, I’ve been seeing a lot of healings. But the healing and deliverance that I’m thinking about this morning, saints, is of the financial sort.
I feel like the body of Christ is being attacked quite a bit financially. You know, medical bills show up out of the blue. Some parents are doing the job… their grandparents are stepping in and helping their kids. And just a lot of financial stuff. And not that you’re mismanaging money, it’s just depression from the enemy.
So two things about financial…
And I’m not going to ask anybody to come up here or anything like that. But if it’s you or maybe for somebody that you know, I just want to stand in the gap for them.
Number one, financial deliverance. That the Lord would deliver you from all this stuff, this crazy attack of the enemy.
Number two, financial wisdom. So that once we are delivered, we’ll be able to manage our resources in a better way. That He would give us financial wisdom.
A good example for me that He helped me with just this weekend. I was looking for a chair. I have an office at home. And the chair that I had, it was time to get it replaced. And so I was shopping around and the range I was seeing was between 200 and 300. And I said, “Lord, I don’t want to spend that.” I mean, I have it, but I don’t want to spend that. And so He led me to Craigslist. I’ve not used Craigslist in a long time. I didn’t even know it still existed really. And, saints, the chair the Lord gave me… the guy who had it listed said it was $225, brand new. First taker can have it for $40. Reason for sale: downsizing.
So I said, okay. I looked at the picture. It looked like a pretty nice chair. Met up with the guy on Sunday, checked out the chair. I said, “Wow, this is pretty good.” He said, “Yeah, it’s practically brand new. I’ve not used it in couple years.” So that was one way the Lord blessed me financially right there.
So before we pray about what you just saw about you and I persevering and not losing hope… because sometimes, it’s feels like a grind. Just putting out all the time, you know? And the Lord is saying, “Son, I see you. Daughter, I see you. I will repay you. I will repay you in fold after fold and after fold after fold.”
And for those of us that have put our hands to the plow, He says, “You’re going to know Me in a different way that a lot of people will never get to know Me. You will know My earth. You will know My person. You will know all these things about Me.” That’s a wonderful promise, saints.
If you’re here and maybe you’re standing for somebody or for yourself and through no fault of your own, you just need financial deliverance. I mean, there’s no way but to say it that way. You need Him to deliver you. And then who doesn’t need wisdom? You don’t even need to raise up your hand. We’re just going to pray about it.
Prayed…
Heavenly Father, we thank you. You are the deliverer. We present ourselves before you, Father. You said we have not because we ask not. We ask right now for financial deliverance. And we come against that wicked one that is always tempting us to maybe spend and buy this shiny object over here, that shiny object over there, and all that nonsense. We just come against that. We’re no longer going to listen to that voice that we know that is not the voice of God, that is tempting us to buy this and that.
And for some people, through no fault of your own, medical bills pile up and all that. And so right now, Father, I just ask for your financial deliverance for your people, that you deliver, your people, Father. I thank you so much for the angels that are here this morning that are attending to God’s people.
Thank you, Father, we’re going to be speaking a new thing. We’re going to be talking in days and weeks to come about how you have delivered us. So we can take comfort dear brothers and sisters. Even right now, we can choose to rejoice because we know that the deliverer has heard our plea, our hearts cry. And He’s making a way. He’s making a way for you and me where there seems to be no way. He’s going to do it.
