Scripture Focus…

(6) “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. (7) And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
(Philippians 4:6–7 Amp.)

The following excerpt was taken from Praying to Get Results by Kenneth E. Hagin:

You Don’t Have to Worry

One evening after a service, a woman came to me and said, “I want you to agree with me in prayer about something. The burdens of life – the cares, the worries of life – are just so heavy I can’t bear them.

She began to cry. With sincerity she said, “I want you to pray God will either give me grace to bear these burdens or else take about half of them away. I can carry about half of them – I just can’t carry all of them.”

“Dear Sister,” I replied, “we don’t have to pray about that – we’ve already heard from heaven. God’s Word is our message from heaven. His Word couldn’t be more sure if an angel suddenly came down here and wrote with his finger on a granite block: GOD’S WORD IS ETERNAL.”

She looked startled.

I opened my Bible to First Peter 5:7 and asked her to read out loud. She read, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

Then I said, “I can’t pray God would give you grace to bear your cares and worries. He doesn’t want you to bear them. And I can’t pray God would take away half of them, because He doesn’t want you to carry even half of them. He wants you to cast all of them on Him.”

“I can’t do it!” she said.

I said, “Sister, God is not telling you to do something you can’t do. He would be an unjust God to do that. You’ve been praying about this for years and have never gotten an answer. That’s not the way to solve this problem. You solve this by doing what God said to do.”

“Yeah,” she replied, “but you don’t know what I’ve got to worry about!”

“But God does,” I said. “He knows and understands. And He said to cast all your cares upon Him.”

It seemed to me a person would be glad to find that verse in the Bible and would be thrilled to act upon it. But she turned, walked away, and said, “I couldn’t give up worrying.”

Some people are content in the knowledge that God knows and understands their problems. But still they hold on to their cares, so they don’t get deliverance. It’s not enough that God cares and understands. We must go on and do what He said to do – cast all of our cares on Him, for He cares for us. This is the prayer of commitment, of casting or rolling our cares and burdens on Him.

Psalm 37:5 says, “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

Continued Praying…

We clear out all of our cares and anxieties, today!
Even a touch of care or anxiety, we give it to You, Lord
Anxiety and fear can increase the blood pressure—so Lord, we give them to You
We take a deep breath and breathe in Your presence
Declaring that we will live care-free
We refuse to worry about tomorrow and how it will turn out—but we will look to You
Believing for answers, help, and solutions from You, Lord
You can’t go alone, but together, we are equipped to go together
Answers, answers, and answers!
We move that, Father
There is a recipe, a way, and a truth—it will be revealed for the Church to see, to know, and to pray out!
Braced by the blood and through the name that is above every other name!
Illumination, revelation, and understanding for the race that we are walking in now!
Preparation all along the way!
More and more motion and a clearing today
It’s a freeing thing to let things go!
He cares about every detail and every facet
Even the things you don’t know how to say, you can pray!
There will be illumination and revelation that comes your way—inspiration from the Holy Spirit
Keep your eyes and mind focused on Him
Shaping the way and future, a shaping of things to come
Walking and talking in the spirit
The unseen becomes seen; there will be a spirit of seeing and knowing
He will give you words to say, words in the spirit
There will be discernment by the Holy Ghost for those things to come
You will know the way to go!
Praying through and into the transition
We will not leave anything out—You will not leave anything out!
You said to pray at all times!
Declaring for peace and rest in the Holy Ghost
It shall be revealed and walked through
Be patient, for it is in God’s timing, and His timing is the right timing
Pleading the blood over every crack, every crevice, and every detail
Leveling that out by the blood of Jesus!
Slinging the blood over the operations and over the body and the parts
That supply must come forth!
Be looking for that, for there will be evidence all along the way!
By the blood of Jesus, we will continue to move and uproot
Finding ourselves in Your presence, Lord
Thank You for the manifested presence of Your spirit
Praying over the atmosphere
Opening up our eyes to see things more clearly
Declaring that we would have a greater perception of Your manifested presence in the earth
It is Your glory, cover the earth with Your glory, Father
Let Your glory fall like rain
Praying that more and more would begin to come out of the darkness and into the light
We call for it and believe it, Lord
Praying for the anointing to be stronger than ever before
A filling up of the Holy Ghost
Opening up our spiritual ears to hear
Greater clarity in our tongues
A greater revelation and understanding of what we are praying
Our steps are clearer than ever before
There will be no lack, we will walk free, unhindered!
We are healed, healthy, and whole in Jesus’ name!
Calling today blessed!
Pleading the blood over our pastors, that they would be saturated by Your precious Spirit
Thank You that today is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it
Hallelujah, thank You, Lord!
