Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Pastor Ken…
It’s Wednesday. It’s the last day of September, right? My goodness, 2026. Well, here we go. Last day of September, ready or not. First day of October tomorrow. The last quarter of the year, right? Well, glad to have you with us. My name is Ken, and we are going to pray today, and get after it, because we are in the end of days! There’s much that God wants to accomplish. And prayer is, at least, the first step in our partnership with the Lord and what He wants to do, not only in our lives, but in our cities, in our nation, and in the world. And so we’re going to just trust that the Holy Spirit is inspiring us to pray according to the perfect will of God in the Spirit, and in our understanding as He grants us prayers.
We are brokers of another world…
How many of you know the Holy Spirit grants prayers? He inspires, He gives us expression of and by His Spirit to pray out those things that He desires to see come into reality, from His realm to our realm. I’ll say it again, we have been sent here to be brokers of another world. Here to release heaven into the earth realm, into your home, into your city, into your church, into the hearts and lives of people that you interact with on a daily basis, and of course, beyond.
Revelation 12:7…
I’ve got a couple things in mind here to start us off this morning. This first scripture I want to share with you may not be what you’re meditating on right now, but it just kind of came to me this morning. It’s found in Revelation 12:7. I think you’ll see what I meant by the fact that it’s probably not what you’re meditating on right now, because it says this.
It says…
“And a war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven.” In other words, Satan and his fallen angels any longer. “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the world. He was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
In verse 10, it says…
“Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, ‘Now salvation and strength and the kingdom of our God and the power of His Christ have come. For the accuser of the brethren who accused them before our God day and night has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.”
What’s your testimony today?
Remember, a testimony, a good report of what God has done, small, medium, or large, whatever that is, in the past or just recently, that testimony, that good report, that praise report, as we say, is prophecy. Because if God did it before, He will do it again, right? For someone else, but for you all over again, if necessary. He’ll do it again. “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea. For the Devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”
“I saw him cast like lightning.”
Hence, why we deal with some of the things we deal with, and face challenges. And there’s tumults and tribulations and difficulties, because the enemy has come, has been cast into the earth. That’s what Jesus said. He said, “I saw him cast like lightning.” In other words, God threw him at a hyper speed into the earth. And you better believe that there was a great explosion when that happened, I bet. But he’s in the earth, and he knows his time is short. So he’s out to do as much damage as he can. Don’t overlook that fact. Don’t be fearful of it but be wise to his devices.
Give the Devil no place…
Give him no place in your life, in your thoughts, in your actions, in your attitudes, in your emotions, in your relationships, in your finances, in any area. The Bible says in, I believe it’s Ephesians, “Give the devil no place.” That means give him not even one square inch of terra firma, ground that is, in any aspect or facet of your life. Because he’s playing for keeps.
Well, guess what?
We’re showing up to play for keeps as well. We’re here to make a difference. We’re here to be of consequence. You’re here, whether you realize it or not, little old you, little old me, we’re here… Really, we’re not little old something. We are someone in Christ, and we’re here to be a people of consequence. Our prayers have been inspired by the Spirit of God in us, not just in morning prayer, but when you awaken in the middle of the night and a thought comes to you, and you lift that up to the Lord. Or an individual crosses your mind, you lift them up to the Lord, like Paul the Apostle who said, “I make mention of you before the Lord.”
God’s ear is inclined toward the prayers of the righteous…
That prayer is meant to shift the course of what’s going on in that person’s life or in that situation. Because my Bible still reads that God’s ear is open and inclined, in other words, tilted toward the prayers of the righteous. And in case you need a reminder on this Wednesday morning, you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus if you’ve professed His name and believed upon His work.
Do I need to remind you this morning?
Him who knew no sin became sin that we might become the righteousness, the rightness, the beauty, the holiness, the justified… The righteousness of God in Him. So if you’ve stepped into Him in your life and in your decision-making, then you are right before God. And His ear is inclined to what you have to say. Not just in a moment of prayer, but all the way through your days.
What are you saying?
Leverage the Word. Speak the Word. Speak truth. Yes, let your yes be yes, and your no be no. Amen? Let life emanate from your lips. Let prophecy emanate from your lips because God is listening and He wants to create the reality of what you are saying. Yes, in morning prayer as we pray together, but also as you go throughout your everyday routine and schedule and what you do. Amen? So just let your heart be stirred this morning. You’re here to be a person of consequence. You’re here to shift and turn things in the direction of what God has in mind. And there’s no turning back.
There’s no turning back…
Just let yourself know this morning, inform yourself on the inside, “There’s no turning back for me. There’s no drawing back.” The Bible says God has no pleasure in him or her who withdraws or draws back. No, for us, it’s onward. It’s upward. We’re stepping into God today, even if it appears to be chaotic and uncertain and unknown. I don’t care. If I’ve got the Spirit of God in me and I sense His peace and I sense His coaching, the Holy Spirit saying, “Come on, son. Come on, daughter. Take another step,” then you step into that, knowing that God wants you to bring peace and order out of that chaos with your prayers, with your strong faith stance because you’ve chosen to stand on the promise of the Word for healing, for salvation, for deliverance, for revival, for the former and the latter rains streaming together in this end time hour to produce the greatest harvest mankind has ever witnessed or recorded.
Because we stand with God.
Because we go with God.
Because we choose no matter what has happened in the past…
That we’re rising up.
That we’re stepping in.
That we’re going to take the land.
That we have crossed over Jordan.
We’re in our Promised Land…
Because of the shed blood of Jesus at Calvary, we’ve crossed over Jordan, and we’re in our Promised Land right now. You’re in your Promised Land right now. But how many of you know when those Israelites went into the Promised Land, there were still giants there that needed to be routed, defeated, taken out.
Well, guess what?
There will always be a giant in front of you…
There will always be a giant in front of you, so just get used to going by faith. Just get used to speaking the Word each day. Just get used to the fight of faith. But know that the fight’s been rigged in your favor. And it’s a good fight. It’s a fight of faith. You don’t actually have to physically fight a giant that might be 8 or 10 or 12 foot tall. You get to take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and run the enemy through wherever he creeps and wherever he rears his nasty, ugly, stinking head.
That ought to be our marching orders. I’m not saying you got to go looking for the Devil. Oh, no. He’ll reveal himself. You just walk with God. You just stay in the secret place of the Most High. You just nourish yourself up on the Word of life. And then when he does show up, you’re ready, you’re prepared.
Don’t be caught unaware in this hour…
This is an hour to not be caught unaware, to not be caught with our pants down, so to speak, but to be fully endowed and fully prepared for what comes. And it may look ugly, and it may look unprecedented in your life, in my life, in this world. But if we’ll go with God and take full advantage of our armaments, take full advantage of what has been arrayed before us on the table, the Bible says that it’s been set for our advantage in the presence of our enemies, then guess what? Even though the enemy might be in our presence, he doesn’t stand a chance. You can get to a place where you don’t grow weary in well-doing. You can get to the place where you don’t grow weary to stand up for God in the midst of a contrary situation or a contrary world.
Okay, this is not Monday, I shouldn’t be preaching.
We are contenders…
But that being said, prayers are contenders. What’s that phrase in that movie? “I could have been a contender.” No, you are a contender! Because Jesus is on the inside of you and me. We are contenders. We are a people sent to a generation to shift the course of events, to get behind what God is doing and say, “Yes, Lord, do that, more of that,” and to press down on the accelerator once again of what God has in mind. And that’s what’s going to take place. That’s what we’re going to do today.
Recent reports…
I heard some recent reports about what’s going on in Finland and Sweden and Norway, and how in two years in a row now, there has been growth in those professing to have faith in God, to be Christians, and driven especially by young people, specifically young men…
Who are searching for hope
Who are searching for meaning
Who are searching for truth and true love found only in Jesus
God is up to something in Scandinavia…
And so suddenly the numbers are rising where, historically, Scandinavia’s been across the world one of the most secular areas of the world for many years now. But suddenly in the last two years, there’s a resurgence of people coming to faith, people going down into the sea and into rivers and into places where they can be baptized. And it’s driven by young men especially. God is up to something in Scandinavia. Anybody with us online from Sweden, Norway, or Finland, or Denmark for that matter, let us know what you’re seeing.
Prophecy is being fulfilled…
It’s happening in our nation. Prophecy is coming alive. The prophecies that have been declared even long ago are becoming active before our very eyes. Healing is beginning to flow. There’s a wave of God moving, I declare. I see it, but I declare it even more across our land. We’re a part of that. Get behind it. Get with it. Join the Lord and say, “Yes, Lord, do more of that. Do that in my home. Do that in my church. Do that in my soul. Do that in my city, in Jesus’ name.”
Let it touch every corner of this globe.
Let it touch every aspect and facet of our society.
Let no stone go untouched and unturned.
Listen to this prophecy.
I pray that it would encourage you, and then we’ll pray out of this.
The Word of the Lord came and said, “It is time to stand up, not stand down, to take up the weapons of your warfare. My word, My spirit, My characteristics, and My authority, the authority of My name, and the power of My blood and stand. Stand in prayer. Stand in faith. In the areas that you have been standing down, you have become vulnerable.”
In other words, don’t mope around. Don’t get under it, as I say. And say, “Well, I guess I’ll just hold on,” or, “I guess I’ll just cope with this.” Uh-uh. There ought to be a fierceness that oozes from your spiritual pores, a fierceness of faith that says, “How dare you, Devil. Take your hands off of me. Take your hands off of my household. Take your hands off of my body, my finances, my emotions. How dare you? I adjure you in the mighty, holy, precious, and awesome name of Jesus… GO! in Jesus’ name.”
Recognize, once again, let this just sink in. I know you know it by mentally assenting to it, but just let it sink in that you’re the one that holds authority. You’re the one that holds the right to rule and reign and dictate, because that’s what spiritual authority means, the conditions within the given realm of your life. Use it! Don’t just mentally assent to it and, “Oh, yeah, I heard a good teaching on that once upon a time.” No, let it be active in you. Let it be spoken and engaged through you.
The enemy has to run, has to respond, has to get up and go when you say, “No, you’re not going to stay here. No, you’re not going to pitch your tent and hang out in my soul or attach some form of oppression to my life.” It’s great when there’s an altar call and a minister to preach and to lay hands on. But guess what? You have the authority to run him right now out of your life, out of your home.
“Well, Pastor Ken, what if I don’t see him go in the moment?”
I don’t care. When was the last time you saw in the Bible you’re moved by what you see? No, we’re moved by what we believe. If you believe God, then stand there, look him in the eye and say, “Ha ha ha, you heard what I said, cancer cells. Ha ha ha, you heard what I said, oppression, depression, trauma. Ha ha ha, you heard what I said, lack, insufficiency, division, past problems. You cannot stay!”
There’s a new sheriff in town…
I don’t care if they’ve been with you right in your home for a decade or five. It’s time to rise up and not stand down. It’s time to lean in and say, “There’s a new sheriff in town.” And it’s Jesus! But He expresses and does what He does through you when you join Him in the work that He’s called you to partake in doing. That’s to put the enemy on the run.
“So stand in faith. In the areas where you have been standing down, you have become vulnerable. It’s time to reinforce the ranks. I’m awakening My body. So I say to you, stand up, shake yourself, and hold fast to the liberty, you could say the freedom, I have given you.
“Sin shall have no dominion over you.
“Fear shall have no dominion over you.
“Grief shall have no dominion over you.
“Anger shall have no dominion over you.
“Lack shall have no dominion over you.
“Curses shall have no dominion over you.
“Nothing shall have dominion over you.
“Do not allow it. I have defeated it at the cross. Stand under the protection of My blood and My authority and finished work. Many have given other things dominion over their minds and over their bodies, therefore, many have grown weak, thus weakening My body.
“So when you’re weak, that affects the greater body of Christ, the greater family of God, in other words. I am reinforcing the ranks. I am releasing My sound this day, and those who hear will shake off their sins and weights that they have held them down and will stand up. They will rise with repentant hearts, minds that will be changed, eyes that will see and ears that will hear. My church, My body, will rise without spot or wrinkle or blemish. My body will rise with a renewed strength. My strength, My power, My spirit in them. And through this glorious body of Christ, I will work a work that will bring shock and awe to the nations and to the church. There will be an awakening of an awareness of who I really am.
