Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Well, hello! It’s Wednesday. Good morning. Good to connect with you guys, once again, on Wednesday. God is up to something big, clearly in our nation and around the world. And so we just want to continue with what He is doing in prayer this morning. And so stay open and receptive and available to Him.

Announcement…

I want to mention that tonight is our regularly scheduled Wednesday night service. If you didn’t know, my name is Ken Olson. I’m one of the pastors on staff here. But Pastor Heather Sibinski will be leading our Wednesday night service. I spoke with her and I know she has prayer on our heart. So if that’s something you’re interested in being a part of, I encourage you to stream it or join us in person if you can.

Next Wednesday night, I will be leading the Wednesday night service, and I want to encourage you to join us for a prayer and worship night. But tonight, 7 p.m. Central Standard Time, Pastor Heather will be leading. So mark that down. Be a part of that if you can and give yourself to prayer.

James 5:16…

Let me share a couple of scriptures. I was reflecting on these passages last night as I was attempting to chill down and go to sleep. James 5:16 says, “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”

Aren’t you glad prayer produces wonderful results?
Aren’t you glad that prayer was God’s idea?

God answers prayer…

He had planned long ago to answer prayer. So before we set out to pray or to come together collectively online or in person, God had already made up His mind, “I’m going to answer their prayers.”

I was thinking last night as I was out for literally like a 10 o’clock at night run. That might be why I couldn’t get to sleep right away. But, I was thinking about how probably most significant world events, at least God has in mind, are affected by what goes on in the spiritual realm. There is such a thing as spiritual warfare, and it is happening from our times perspective, it’s happening 24/7.

The enemy seeks to hinder God…

The enemy seeks to hinder, to thwart, to stop up, to block up things from happening that God wants to happen in your life and my life in this nation, in the church around the world. And I suppose that’s why the Bible says that we’re to pray always and to not relent or to back off or to give up or to drift away from our place of prayer.

Because prayer is an opportunity to engage in spiritual warfare.
It’s an opportunity to disrupt the enemy’s plans.
It’s an opportunity to make a way where there presently may not be a way.

Prayer makes a way…

It clears out the atmosphere from a spiritual standpoint where there is spiritual warfare. There’s great tumult in that realm, especially in this time as the enemy sees his day of judgment and end coming. The Bible predicts that, prophesies that.

So all the more we must give ourselves to prayer. We must give ourselves to engage in spiritual warfare. One of the ways to do that is prayer in the spirit, or in other tongues. Another way is through fasting.

“Oh! Did he just say fasting?”

Yes. I said fasting. I know it’s not a popular, exciting word in this day and age. But it’s still a tool God has given us, the church, individually to engage in spiritual warfare. When you fast, you starve your lower fleshly nature and you tune yourself into the voice of God the Holy Spirit. You starve and restrict the enemy and his grip on you in different ways when you yield yourself to fasting.

There are different forms of spiritual warfare…

Worship is a form of spiritual warfare. Repentance is a form of spiritual warfare. Oh my goodness! The enemy screams like a little girl when the church begins to repent. No offense, ladies. You get my point. I’ve known some guys that screamed like little girls too. So… Maybe that’s because I couldn’t get to sleep right away last night. I don’t know. I’m feeling a little cantankerous in a good way, in a spiritual warfare way. But he does. He is threatened when you repent, when you stay open in your heart and receptive to the slightest movement and impressions of the Holy Spirit when He prompts you to say, “You know what? Your motive was wrong there.”

It doesn’t have to be an outright blatant sin that the world would even call us sin. It could be just something going on inside of you. It could be some resistance, some rebellion, some slowness to respond because slothfulness, slowness, to respond to God is a form is sin.

So I call it out…

Whenever I sense it, whenever I see it, I call it out. Say, “Lord, I repent of that. I receive your mercy and your forgiveness. I humble myself under your mighty hand, and I believe I receive more grace as your Word promises.”

That’s a form of spiritual warfare. Just living a life of perpetually surrendering and giving yourself to Him disrupts the enemy’s plans and makes a way for God’s blessing and purpose and power to flow to and through you. Amen.

We are here to restrict lawlessness…

We’re here to be salt and light and disruptors of all darkness and all evil. As long as time remains in this dimension, then we are called to disrupt the forces of darkness. We are called to be dealers of hope, beacons of light, pray-ers that make a way for the King of Kings and the Lord of glory to have His way in our generation, in your life, and in my life.

It’s time to pray…

So as long as there’s breath in your lungs, it’s time to pray. As long as there is stride in your step, stay the course and continue to contend in the spirit because God will have His way. It may just be that you’re not done yet, that the spiritual warfare that is there needs to be pierced through. With your prayers and your faith decrees and you just waking up and saying, “Lord, here I am. I show up on your radar screen.”

“You just simply need to pray through.

Sometimes, as the old-time pray-ers used to say, “You just simply need to pray through.” No matter if the answer hasn’t happened yet, or the breakthrough isn’t seen, or you can’t calibrate it at the moment, it doesn’t matter. You’ve got His Word on it. You can take His Word to the bank. The Word of God is faithful and true, and He still watches over His Word in this 21st century, and He will watch over and He will perform it in your life. He will perform it right here at Living Word Christian Center, right there in your business, in your household, in your children’s lives, in your children’s children’s lives, in your church and ministry.

Consistency…

God will have your way if you refuse to back off or relent. Consistency, by the way, is also a form of spiritual warfare. Even today, just taking another step, you are countering the enemy’s attempts and plans. Just you showing up every day consistently. That breeds stability. That causes the enemy to reel and back off because he doesn’t know what to do with a Christian who is no longer living a roller-coaster sort of life, but instead they’re just on an upward incline into God, as Pastor Lynne once said.

It doesn’t matter if I feel any goosebumps today. It doesn’t matter if I see a miracle today. What matters is God is faithful and His Word is true, and He loved me and sought me out and chose me as His own child. And today I will live and I will move and I will have my being in Him.

And as surely as the sun will go around the earth in the next 24 hours and will arise once again in the eastern skies tomorrow, God is faithful… as faithful as the sun, He is even more so.

So just know this…

You could rejoice in the messy middle of your stand of faith. You can rejoice in the inconvenience you feel in your flesh or it feels hard today. Well, you know what? I can use my will and say, “I don’t care if it feels hard.” It may feel hard. I can acknowledge that. It may be difficult, or the answer may not have come through and it’s now seven weeks.

But I can choose to rejoice regardless of what I see.
I can choose to arise and go boldly unto my Father’s throne and seek Him with all my heart and soul.

Jesus demonstrated His love by giving up His last breath…

Because He has demonstrated His love toward you and me in sending His Son. Jesus demonstrated His love for His younger brothers and sisters, as I say, by shedding His very blood and giving up His very last breath. And when He was swallowed up by the earth as it’s noted in scripture, even prophetically, He took back His life. He took back the keys of death, hell, and the grave.

And He’s demonstrated the Father’s great love.
And He demonstrated the Father’s great faithfulness.
And He demonstrated God’s intention for you.

He will not fail you…

And that is that He will come through for you. He will not fail you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Even though the end of the age approaches, God is with us more than ever. And He will not back off and He will not relent.

The question is…

Will you stay with Him?
Will you hold onto His hand?
Will you abide in His presence?
Will you keep His Word saturated in your heart and soul?

If you’ll do so, then you will see the end…

The end of your faith will come, and it will be glorious, and it will be good, and it will be the demonstration of the Father’s love for you personally for the church in this generation. God is seeking to break out in this generation. We’re seeing signs of it. It has begun.

The great breakout of 2025 has begun.

It’s not just for the masses. It’s for you individually and this church specifically.

So see that in your heart. Say that with your mouth. Today is the day of the great breakout of God in my life. Spirit of God, be free to break out and have your way in me and through me. For today is like no other day. For today is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. Even though it might be the seventh week when I’m not seeing the answer to my prayer… or the seventh year.

Guess what?

Jubilee has been designated for you and me. Jubilee, in other words, deliverance and freedom and miraculous healings and even restoration. And let me top that and say “restitution.” In other words, payback, payback, payback! The breakout is so that you can experience not just restoration, but payback! The Bible says the enemy who is a thief, if he’s caught and we acknowledge him and we call him to the carpet, he can be required to pay back sevenfold for your trouble.

I’m talking to a church that ought to have a spirit of faith… the same spirit that possessed Caleb and Joshua who said even in their old age, “Let’s go up at once and possess the land. Let’s go up at once and take the hill for God. For we are well able. For we recognize that our enemy’s defenses and strength have departed and left them. And we’re the ones, in fact, that hold the keys to death, hell, and the grave. We’re the ones that are imbibed by the Spirit of the living God. We’re the ones who have been called out in this generation to always walk in triumph.”

But you got to take it by faith…

You got to choose to go God’s way today. And not the world’s way or your old way. Today is the day when we can shout with a voice of triumph and declare, “Today things are breaking out into a new season for me, for you.”
