Good morning, everyone. It is Wednesday morning. What is it, the 14th of October already? Goodness gracious. Time is cruising, isn’t it? Welcome everyone. My name is Ken. I’m excited to be with you guys this morning as we pray once again.
Things to prime your spiritual “pump…”
I want to share a couple of things to perhaps cause you to reflect, maybe prime your spiritual pump a little bit before we get into some prayer this morning. A couple of different things. The first is a prophetic word that I pray will maybe speak to you in some way and encourage you. Aren’t you glad that we get to follow God today? We get to trust Him, know that He’s faithful, know that He’s trustworthy.
Prophetic word…
“If you have perceived something different, then just know that’s the enemy lurking around endeavoring to tempt, to deceive, to lie. The enemy is the Father of lies, but the God we serve is truth. He is truth, and He defines Himself actually as love, for God is love. So you know He’s going to be good. You know He’s going to be faithful. You know He’s watching over that promise in your life, and He’s at work presently to perform it in yours and in my life, in your nation and in my nation.
“Because the truth of the matter is, things are looking up. Things are shifting in the direction of what God has in mind because we agree with Him, because we intercede, because we decree that God’s favor and purpose shall prosper in our land and in the church in this hour. But the word of the Lord is this…
“There are people who have experienced loss. Things have been stolen or promises that have been delayed in some way in their lives. But God is turning things around. Even this week, I declare delay is being broken off of people’s lives and promises. And the Father supernaturally is redeeming what has been stolen, including time.
“I heard the Lord say, ‘This is an hour of breakthrough.’ I declare I see marriages suddenly being aligned, people falling pregnant, businesses growing, bodies are being restored, unusual job promotions are showing up, salvations and harvests of promises are being fulfilled in this season. The enemy has tried to sabotage areas of your life. But God has been watching over His Word and He will bring it to pass.”
Come on now! Somebody needs to just say amen to that. He is bringing His promises to pass! If you don’t see them with your eyeballs tomorrow, say the same thing: God is bringing His promises to pass.
For Jeremiah 1:12 says…
“The Lord said to me, you have seen correctly, Jeremiah, for I am watching to see that My word is fulfilled.” One translation says He’s watching over His Word to perform it. Many people are about to experience a divine reversal in their lives.
Ooh, come on. Somebody can shout at that!
Word continued…
“Many people are about to experience a divine reversal in their lives, and everything is about to look different. Don’t limit God to earthly time. Watch what He can do to accelerate what has been delayed and not only restore what was stolen but redeem the time once again. I see people standing in their promise and God pouring out a double portion over you. You have trusted and waited and now get ready for much more.”
Amen? Hallelujah.
Ezekiel 12:28 says this, “Therefore say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled,’ declares the Lord of hosts,” the Sovereign Lord.
You and I are in a unique position. As I often point out, you’ve been created in the image of God. Partially, that means that you’re a created spirit, created to speak as God speaks, and therefore create, and therefore set spiritual laws in motion.
Charles Capps quote…
So as Charles Capps said long ago, the Lord told him one day, “I’ve told My people they can have what they say. Unfortunately, they are continuing to say what they have.”
And I know that’s always a present temptation because we live often through a five physical senses filter. But I want to point out that we’re created in the image of God, firstly, as an eternal spirit, a speaking spirit, a spirit that has a will attached to it. That means we can make a choice for life and not death. We can make a choice for what we want to see and not what we presently have.
We can make a choice to leverage God’s Word, which is, as I say, imbibed with heavenly and divine potential. It’s chock-full of Heaven’s DNA. And when we speak it, we sow it. When we speak the Word, when we declare the Word, when we pray the Word, when we worship the Word, we release that Word into our environments, into our homes, into our financial situations, into our relationships, into our bodies.
And that Word is planted so that it can go to work to reproduce what is good and what is of God, so that it can rout what the enemy has tried to install, maybe sickness, maybe insufficiency, maybe a problem you’ve been experiencing for far too long, can be routed and everything can turn around when you speak the Word.
You have creative power…
So speak the Word today. Declare His goodness today. Let the righteous declare that God is good and faithful and coming through for us. He’s not forgotten you. He’s not abandoned you, nor will He ever… Never will He do that. He’s always faithful and promised to be with us even to the end of the age. Even through whatever valley you find yourself in, He is with you. And He is turning the course of events and even atmospheres in your life in the direction of His intention. But you must agree with him.
Fundamentally, that’s what prayer is…
It’s getting into an alignment. It’s getting into an agreement with God and what He said ought to be so. I’m not trying to just emotionally provoke you today. I’m telling you bottom-line truth. God reminds us each and every day: “I put before you life and death. Choose life.”
Choose words of positivity.
Choose words of faith.
Choose words of health and prosperity.
Choose words of healing.
Choose words of promotion.
Stop defeating yourself within yourself. Stop beating yourself up with your words and your bad attitudes No, no. Speak to that attitude. Speak to your inner self and say, “Inner self, why are you depressed? Why are you in a bad attitude? Why are you grumpy?”
You are not your attitudes…
You are not what you feel in the moment, even though it might not be so good. You’re not that. You’re what God’s Word says you are. You have what His Word says you have. So agree with that. Set yourself in alignment with that, and your emotions will change. Your attitudes will be transformed. Your head will start to lift, and you’ll see as the Bible records that your salvation, your deliverance, your breakthrough, your answer is closer than when you first believed. God would have to cease to exist to not follow through on His promise, to not do what He said He would do, in other words.
So stand with God today…
Rise up from your prostration and your position where there are tire tracks over your face because of life or some situation and shake it off. Shake it off! It may not be convenient or you may not feel like it, but once again, aren’t you glad you don’t have to live by what you feel or what looks to be the situation? You can get up, based on what God’s Word says, that the righteous can fall a number of times… six, seven times, but then they rise. They arise again and will not remain defeated. But will step into victory.
God has in mind for you good things…
He has in mind that you would always triumph, that you would no longer complain, but learn to reign. Oh, that’s good. No longer complain, but learn to reign, to rule. The Bible says we can rule and reign by one Jesus Christ. The God of the universe has decided to make a way to enter your reality, to insert Himself into your history, to live on the inside of every single one of us so that we would always have a factor of victory. We would always have Him on our side—with us, for us, and in us. To take us from where we are to where He’s called us to be.
We’re required to join Him…
But He requires that we join Him, that we agree with Him. We’re not here to be responsible for command and control in our lives. We’re responsible, as somebody once said, for climate control. In other words, you have to set the environment. You have to set the thermostat. Old school, new school—analog, digital, right? You set your thermostat. You’ve got to raise the temperature of your environment. Firstly of your inner environment, your home’s environment, your church’s environment. You decide “enough is enough” shivering in the cold. It’s time to turn up the temp, spiritually speaking. It’s time to speak into the environment of my soul, my thoughts, my life, my home. Because when the conditions are right in the environment, things start to pop, things start to happen.
Death Valley had a change in conditions…
I heard a story back in 2004 in Death Valley, which if you know anything about Death Valley in California, it’s the lowest, hottest, driest place in the United States. But in the winter of 2004, it rained over seven inches in a really short span of time. Fast-forward to the spring of 2005, and the whole valley floor of Death Valley sprung to life and became carpeted with flowers. Because the conditions changed. The conditions were shifted in such a way that it proved one thing: Death Valley isn’t dead, only dormant. And that which was dormant, those seeds sprung to life, and suddenly what looked dead and impossible for life sprang to beauty and color and life.

In the immortal, mortal words of the actor in Jurassic Park, “Life found a way.”
Why are you saying that, Ken?
There are dormant seeds in all of us…
Because the truth of the matter is there are dormant seeds in all of us. There are things that God wants to bring to life that would produce beauty and fruitfulness and goodness in our lives, through our lives, but we have to be a people who choose to set the conditions, to up the temperature, so to speak, on the inside of us to faith and expectancy and a belief that God is watching over His Word to perform it. Yes, right now in this moment. It doesn’t matter if you’re still battling symptoms. It doesn’t matter what you saw yesterday or what didn’t work up out up until now. What matters is you have today before you.
This is the day the Lord hath made…
We shall rejoice and be glad in it. Okay, that’s a clue right there as to what your perspective and how you ought to use your voice and your ability to choose to rejoice. This is the day the Lord hath made. We shall rejoice in Him.
