That higher place, that position of power in God’s grace, it doesn’t just happen. But change, a lot of things have everything to do with what we expect will happen. I was just reminded of it. We were singing about “up on eagles wings.” To me that’s soaring above situations that do not look good in the natural.
The way I was raised, my mother was more optimistic than my father. It was a continual battle, not necessarily between them but for us four children it was easy to be down about things because of what my father would say or confess. He didn’t know about confessing. We were raised in a religious way but not true believers. In my growing up years, I don’t know how that works but it pushed me more toward my mother’s side, inside believing it’s going to work out. It will be alright instead of thinking it’s not going to work out. We’re going under. We’re going down… And I had one of my sisters go the other way and it caused a lot of havoc throughout her life.
When I was born again and filled with the Holy Ghost, I began to see I could have faith that things actually will work out right because it’s not me, it’s Him. Sometimes you see things, you face things, hear things. They can try to jerk the slack out of your faith. So there is a fight of faith to stay in that position of power, presence, the anointing.
Yesterday in the afternoon I was so internally up. Do you ever get that way? You’re not always down right? (ha, ha, ha) Sometimes you don’t know it or you don’t sense it so much but I did. I just felt lifted up. And I know we prayed a lot in other tongues and sang in tongues just moving by the Spirit. So, I was reminded of this prophecy about us, about this church, about what He is doing and about to do. It’s about breakthroughs. This isn’t the first time I have read it but it’s been quite a while. On the back of it I had written out “what is a breakthrough?” I looked it up online and this is what I found.
“A sudden, dramatic, important discovery or development, an advance or a step forward, success, improvement, innovation, revolution, progress, headway.”
When we think of discoveries, we think of some kind of invention. But no, it’s a discovery of what His Word really, truly says, a way of seeing it. Breakthroughs can be revolutionary. These are just some meanings for breakthrough but before I read it, I heard the beginning of this this morning.
“Breakthroughs, most breakthroughs do not happen just to everybody. But breakthroughs, spiritual breakthroughs which result in natural breakthroughs happen mostly when believers believe and expect there will be a breakthrough (ha, ha, ha). So, if it’s like “Pow” and you’re up against the wall so to speak, but we expect and we call for and we believe there will be breakthroughs that need to take place now. Now, in the days we are living in, hallelujah.”
We can go back. We do go back. We do look back. We do observe what God has done in the past for me, for you, for us corporately, for this church, for the Church of the Lord Jesus’ Christ, for our country, for our president. We lift him up right now. We know it’s evening in Vietnam. We hold him up and completely cover him with the precious Holy blood of the Lamb. That covering is a protective hedge around him in what he will say; what he’ll hear. And he’ll hear the right things. He’ll say the right things. He’s not moved by what maybe the enemy or the lies or the false declarations that have been coming against him, not moved by it but moved by the Spirit. Those that are declaring right close to him, those that are declaring over him spiritual words of wisdom and understanding and revelation, those words are coming to pass. And they will open the door for breakthroughs for this country that have never, ever happened before! Those that say “It cannot be! It will never be!” They are lying. They are deceived. They do not know. They do not have faith. They are not expecting. In fact they believe or are expecting for the opposite! So, we cover every aspect of that trip with the precious holy blood of the Lamb and declare no weapon formed against it will prosper but in Jesus’ name what needs to take place in these few short days in Vietnam, these things shall come to pass.
Let’s lift that up just a little bit (tongues), opening up those ways, doorways, possibilities that were there but no one never walked through, never went through the door, or never took a step. But in Jesus’ name, things are changing and they are changing now. And they will continue to change and they will be rearranged. And the things that are opened will not be shut and the things that need to be shut, they shall be shut down in Jesus’ name! Thank You, Father.
Limits, be removed in Jesus’ name. Any kind of limit, limit in expectation, limit in belief, limit in what words would be said. So we watch over our words and we’ll speak words of edification and we’ll speak words of direction and we’ll speak words of hope and we’ll speak words of progress and we’ll speak words of change, and we’ll speak words that will cause momentum and we’ll speak words that will lift and we’ll speak words that will direct things to go in God’s perfect way.
Doubt or questions about how it will turn out have to get out, have to go, got to be removed in Jesus’ name! And pressure, we put a stop to you in Jesus’ name. Pressure from the enemy, words from the enemy that say “No, it will not work out.” We refuse that and call it out for what it is! It’s a lie from the enemy and we will not be deceived and we will not be held back but we will overcome in every God ordained right way in Jesus’ name! Hallelujah! And I know we don’t go by feelings.
I know we don’t go by what we so much always feel. But we go by what we know! And we know we’ve overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony, testifying “We have overcome and we’re overcoming and we will overcome and things are changing!” in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah.

Fear, you have no place here. Fear of the future, fear about the days we are living in, fear about how it will work out, fear about where the opportunities will be and how they will be and when they will be, any kind of fear – get out, leave, leave us personally, leave us corporately as a body, leave the Church now in Jesus’ name! Fear, fear, fear – out! And faith and faith and faith in more! And increase of faith and belief that it everything will turn out and it will be alright! Hallelujah. Whoooo! (ha, ha, ha)
The following prophecy was given by Brother Jerry Savelle at Living Word Christian Center on May 14, 1989:
Breakthroughs are on the horizon. Breakthroughs,” saith the Lord of Grace.
“For in the field of technology there have been breakthroughs—in the field of medicine there have been breakthroughs, in the computer age there have been breakthroughs and now it’s time for a breakthrough in the Spirit.
“It is time for you to go further than you have ever been before. It is time for you to experience My glory as you have never experienced before, for I have said that you go from faith to faith and from glory to glory. And it is time for a new dimension,” saith the Lord, “a breakthrough.”
“If breakthroughs can be experienced in the natural realm, why not in the Spirit? And this is the hour for breakthroughs. For I am going to enable you to experience a breakthrough in the Spirit realm where subduing kingdoms is concerned. You will begin to understand spiritual warfare as you have not known it in days past.
“Some have seen but a glimpse, but in the days to come, you will know it as a General. You will know it as a technician—you will know it as those who are experts in their field for I am raising up a people that shall be experts in spiritual warfare. I am raising up people that shall be technicians in spiritual warfare and they will not only know, but they will share and they will show and they will demonstrate and it shall be widespread and many kingdoms shall fall,” saith the Lord.
“For this is the day and the hour for breakthroughs. And your city is headed for a breakthrough. For I have heard the cry of those who are stirred in their hearts. I have heard the cry of those whose bones, whose spirit, whose soul are a fire and a flame. For it is time for the breakthrough. It is time. “It is time that those who once knew Me who are now backslidden. It is time for them to return unto Me,” saith the Lord, “and soon you will begin to see many that left the faith shall return. And yea, there will be hundreds and even thousands,” saith the Lord, “who once were on the front lines, who have lost their zeal and lost their desire, they shall regain it and they shall return to Father’s house and they shall be returned to the front lines and engage in warfare.
“For this is an hour,” saith God, “that there is a note of seriousness that I am causing to come upon the hearts of My people. Yes, it shall be fun and yes, yes it shall be glorious, but oh, the task that is ahead,” saith God, “will determine, will cause a determination, will demand a determination to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh,” saith the Lord.
“For I have declared in My Word that this is the time that Satan would dispatch an army of seducing, deceiving spirits and if possible, he would deceive even the elect. But stand firm in My Word,” saith the Lord, “and do not allow that which I have revealed to you in day’s past slip, but hold it dear unto you. Embrace it. Confess it. Believe it, with the same energy that you did when you first heard it.”
“For this is the hour,” saith the Lord, “that you owe it to yourself to be so established that you cannot be deceived, so deeply rooted in Me and in My Word that you cannot be shaken. And come what may, you are on the Word to stay. For this is the hour of breakthroughs. This is the hour when those who have been diligent and those who have been faithful and those who have said, ‘My God, I will not allow myself to slide, but I will stand on our Word forever more,’ breakthroughs are headed for those people,” saith the Lord.
“Mighty breakthroughs in every realm of their life, yea, spiritually, financially. Yes, they will experience breakthroughs,” saith the Lord, “and I am no respecter of persons. I am willing to give you, yes, even you, that begin tonight. I will cause things to be accelerated and I will give you a breakthrough. So it is time,” saith the Lord, “to set your face as flint and say, ‘I shall not be moved, I am on the Word to stay, I will not let go of that which I have learned and those things which I have been taught, I will apply and I will endeavor to learn more,’“ saith the Lord.
“And as you do, you are headed for a breakthrough. For this is the hour of breakthroughs,” saith the Lord. “So rejoice in Me and know that you shall be refreshed and you shall be revived and all that you have lost shall be recovered and yea, I will even raise you up,” saith the Lord, “in these days to invade the enemy’s camp and take back everything that he has stolen. For this is the day of breakthroughs.
“This is the day of breakthroughs. Yea, many of you who have been faithful in your giving and publishing the Gospel, breakthroughs,” saith the Lord “in your finances are on the horizon. Some of you will be entrusted with more funds than you have ever dreamed of,” saith God, “for I can trust you. The breakthrough is coming. This is the day of the breakthrough. And yea, there will be churches, entire congregations who will experience breakthroughs,” saith the Lord.
“There will be breakthroughs in the city,” saith God. “There will be, in days to come, those who have opposed you the greatest. Many of them will be converted and become your strongest supporters. For breakthroughs are coming,” saith the Lord. “And those who have fought you the hardest, many of them will realize soon that you cannot be shaken and that they are fighting a lost cause and they will drop their carnal weapons and pick up spiritual weapons and join you” saith the Lord.
“For this is the day of breakthroughs. And there will be those who have said it can’t be—it will never come and they will be made to look as fools,” saith the Lord. “For this is the day of breakthroughs. Say not in your heart, ‘It can never happen here.’ For this is where my Spirit is near. For the Lord of the Harvest has come your way and you will begin to see more souls come each and every day. For the breakthrough is yours,” saith the Lord of Grace.
“So get ready. You have just begun to run the race. And the race before you, you shall run fast and you shall run strong and you will not give up. You will run the daylong. For this is the hour when you will see My power and the hour that you will see My grace. So know in your heart that I am the Lord that has spoken to you. So get ready, I said it. It will come to pass. THIS IS THE DAY OF THE BREAKTHROUGH!”

Miracles, supernatural opportunities, new doors, new, new, new days, not those days that were but these days that are. The days that are to come. This morning we step by faith, we just see ourselves individually, we see us as a church, we see us as part of the body of Christ, the whole Church stepping over. Instead of stepping one way where there was doubt, unbelief, questions of how it will turn out, but stepping by faith over into that place of faith and believing with all of our hearts. Remember the Spirit said “do not let up on it. Do not let go but set your face like a flint. Do not question.” Let’s not question how it will be. Let’s not question when it will be. But let’s believe it shall be, it will be! And these are the days and the times when, by the Spirit we’ve just heard, these things shall come to pass. Thank You Father. We believe it, we receive it.

In your spirit, your thoughts let the Holy Spirit remind you of something the enemy stole from you. While you were singing that, there was just something that came up within me where the Devil stole something from me. I know he did. But we have the right and we have the authority to go into the enemy’s camp and take it back. So, whatever it is, whatever it was, whatever was stolen, it will be restored. It may be restored in a different way. But it shall be restored! it’s coming back because the Devil is under our feet!
This morning we take it back! We receive it by faith for the church, this body, the whole body of Christ worldwide in Jesus’ name! We believe it. We receive it by faith. We expect to see it. We expect to actually touch it. Whatever it might be, could be health, could be wealth, prosperity – whatever! Resources coming back, restored, made new in Jesus’ name, Amen. Hallelujah, thank You Lord.
