Morning Prayer Summary for Wednesday, February 13, 2019

Scripture focus…

(20) Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

(21) Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages). Amen (so be it).

When we come in like this, does the Devil ever try to tell you that you are just spinning your wheels, you are really not doing anything, you are just entertaining yourself, or whatever? Most times, I never even think that, but once in a while that thought tries to come. Are things happening, good things happening because of what we do corporately in here? And we say “Yes they are.” If we thought they weren’t, then we wouldn’t be in faith about it. That’s it. So, we have to stay perked up in our faith believing that the things that we say and pray, all these things have an effect.

The following declaration is According to the Word I am (we are)…

Pastor Ray…

That’s the Word, that’s what the Word says about us, and by faith all these things we believe. There is not one thing… Did you hear anything in there where you thought “Well, I don’t know about that?” No. It’s all true. What does the Devil try to do? Declare the opposite, try to keep us down, and try to keep us walking in his way and be moved by what he’s saying and not moved by what the Word has said. God almighty, the power of Holy Spirit in us, working, leading, guiding, showing, revealing, uncovering, opening in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Father.

You know when He opens the door, and there are doors that have been opened for each one of us, no man can close it. No man no matter what they try to do or say can close that door of opportunity. No man can shut the door. When He opens it, we believe we are going through it. Even if it’s just a little crack, we know it will open more as we pursue Him, His ways, the good ways, the good days, the good plans, the good ideas, the creative ways. Hallelujah, it’s all Him. It’s all You, Lord.

Thank You for Your goodness and for Your mercies today. It’s a new day. We are blessed in this day. We’re healed, we’re whole as we went through all these good things. Hallelujah.

This is related to what you were talking about in the beginning. It’s a news story about a scientific study concerning prayer, and praying in tongues, and the way it activates the brain. Basically, the results of this study showed that prayer works. It’s not just this random, useless exercise. So, I am quoting this PHD lecturer from Harvard: “It is clear from the correlational studies within the epidemiology data that positive relationships exist between religious and spiritual practices and health outcomes on a variety of different conditions.” Moreover she says that in a confirmation study on intercessory prayer, “The prayer groups had statistically significant improvements in outcome suggesting that the intercession has clinical relevance.”

That’s just academia speak for prayer works. They found it. They compared people who prayed to those that don’t pray and that when they pray, good stuff happens! (ha, ha, ha).

Ms. Jeani…

What I love is that the scientific community was curious enough to even do a study on it.

Ms. Annie…

It sort of like you could ask any of us without any kind of degree, “Have you ever had an answer to prayer?” Yes. You don’t need a PHD to figure that out that God hears us and answers us when we pray.

Pastor Ray…

Just while Ms. Annie was playing, in our own hearts let’s lift that name up over a situation we are aware of, something where man can’t necessarily change it, doctors maybe don’t have the ability or knowledge to change it, or the power to change it. But Jesus, the name above every other name. No matter what it is, we declare that name, Jesus, today over these SITUATIONS that need to be changed now! Now! Today! Not in the sweet by and by; we know Your Word is “yes and amen” and it’s now.

Just see it in your heart, just declare Jesus. No other name can be above it, any other name or whatever we could say, it’s under. So, there is the name JESUS. We hold up that name. The one that absolutely turns things, changes situations, reveals, shuts off some things, closes some other doors. Why were they open? We do not know? But it closes them in that power and authority that is in the name Jesus.

Be Jesus in us. Be Jesus through us, Lord. Maybe we opened up a door. Maybe we thought on something so long, we thought it was true when it wasn’t. Whatever! In Jesus’ name, we will stay steadfast. We will keep declaring what You’ve said to declare; whatever the things we spoke over ourselves this morning. We believe they are all true! If they’ve not come to pass, they will! Thank You for that name, the name, the Holy name of Christ Jesus.

Ms. Annie led us singing No Other Name but the Name of Jesus

Pastor Ray…

Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. All of that, all of that, all of that… Unchained and made free, unchained and made free… Answers now, revelation now…

Ms. Jeani…

In His Word, He asks people, “How long have you had this condition?” Why would He ask that? Because He already knew. He asked it for us. Every condition that has been long term comes to an end today, today by the anointing, by His Word because He is good, because it’s His will. Over and over and over again in His Word He shows it is His will to put an end to those things that have gone on and on and on. Today freedom begins.

Pastor Ray…

We agree. Where there has been a war of attrition, an attack from the enemy, where the enemy has tried to raise up some kind of plan to block us from God’s way and God’s will, where the enemy has tried to put bumps in the road that make it hard to go over or go around, today we renew our knowledge knowing that the Devil, our enemy, already has been defeated. So, we’ll just declare a freeway, a highway, a holy way, a right way, the God way, the powerful way, the strength way, the anointing way, the healing way, the prosperous way today! Weights, what weights? Weights, be gone in Jesus’ name. We are free. We are free!

No limits, no boundaries, just no words that would be able to hold us back down or try to tempt us to sit down or turn around. Oh, we shake those things off! Like Paul did, shook that viper away. We shake these things off today in faith, believing! When we declare it, it’s true in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah.

Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. (ha, ha, ha) Thank You. Thank You. Thank You, Lord.

Ms. Annie led us singing Way Maker

Pastor Ray…

Thank You, Father. You are turning things around. You are the Way Maker. You are making a way. Thank You, Lord, that You are making a way in our nation because You are the Way Maker. And those that just in the natural we would like to speak against, we know we are not waring against flesh and blood but against the enemy. And so, we know that by the authority and the anointing that You put within us as pray-ers and as we declare things that are right for America, we believe that America will continually move in that right way. And all those voices where the enemy has been working through, natural people, we come against the enemy. We hold you down, put you down, put you out, say “Shut up. Be still. Get out. Get away.”

We pray for the souls of every man and every woman in our congress, in our senate, all of our leaders, we pray that every single one, we pray for that revival that we have been praying for, we pray that they shall be saved and set free because You are the Way Maker! Hallelujah.

Here in our own state, maybe in the natural it looks like it was going the wrong way but we say “It’s going in the right way in Jesus’ name.” We pray over our governor in Jesus’ name and we pray that the voice, those voices of those that are believers will have a way, have an entrance into the heart of that man. And in Jesus’ name, there will be a turn and our state will continually move in the Your right ways. Your ways, Lord, we thank You for it. Thank You for all the things that You’ve done for us. Thank You for this church, Living Word. Again this morning, we cover every resource necessary to do what we’ve been called on to do. We pray over the finances, over the recourses that are necessary to do what we are going to do in Rogers, doing in St Paul, and all of the other things You have called us to do. Thank You for the strength, the presence of God, the power of Your Spirit in our pastors. We thank You for that, Lord. They are strong in You, they are overcoming in every area. Whatever they set their hands to, there is prosperity there. We are prosperous! We declared it in the beginning here this morning and we declare it at the end. We are PROPSEROUS people in You because You made a way for us. Thank You so much for it. We agree in Jesus’ name, Amen. Thank You for coming today.
