Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Pastor Ken…
Good morning, everyone. Hope you’re having a good start to your Thursday, or maybe you’re ending your Thursday depending on what time zone you’re logging in from.
Today, I think what I’ll do to start with a couple of excerpts from a book that I reference every so often. It’s from a book by E.W. Kenyon called “In His Presence.” I thought I would share some reflections from what he writes in regard to what God is to us.
And we’ll start here as we endeavor to align ourselves with the flow of the Holy Spirit. I don’t know fully what He has for us today or what He wants to do, but I know it’s good and my expectation and my faith is set on the goodness of God, on the reality of who He is and who I am in Him.
Today, like no other day, He’s still greater on the inside of us and He is still at work to cause us to triumph. It doesn’t matter if something hasn’t changed in our circumstances or the symptoms remain the same. We’re not moved by what we see… what we feel… what we can filter with our five physical senses. I don’t know about you, but I am moved by the Word of God. He has flung the universe, the cosmos into existence. And He sustains all things in the universe by the word of His power. And He’s going to sustain you and me with His Word today.
His Word does not pass away. He has exalted His Word even above His name. You can take His Word to the bank; what He has said to you, what He has revealed to you in His book and in your heart by His Spirit, it’s true. Let it be so.
I didn’t mean to get all intense here already. I guess I’m just passionate. I’m convicted to the core of my being. That this is so. And maybe not just convicted. Maybe I have witnessed God come through time and time again. I have seen His faithfulness and I know you have as well. So let’s celebrate that! Let’s acknowledge that! Let’s not lose sight of who He is and what He’s done and what He’s promised to do.
As human beings in a world that’s broken and cursed, we can experience drift at times. We can drift away from what we’ve learned and what God has done remarkably so in our lives. And so one of the most essential habits of faith and prayer is to perpetually daily, sometimes multiple times a day, stir yourself up, stir your consciousness up in regards to who you are in Him and what He said He will do for you… what He has done for you.
Take encouragement in that. Celebrate that. Use your will to choose life today. Use your will to choose words of healing and breakthrough and prosperity and truth today. The solution is in you. And His name is Jesus. And He desires to use your words today. He desires to make a way where you don’t see a way with your words today, with your worship today, with your alignment with Him and His Spirit—the one whom Jesus promised to send and who is presently on the earth. And if you professed His name, dwells inside of you and me.
He is the teacher of truth. He is the great mentor. The one who comes to reveal, transmit, and disclose the way you’re to go and what you’re to believe and the good things that God intends to do for you and yours. In fact, if you tune in the Holy Spirit is always preaching. And sometimes when you’re not tuned in on the inside, He’ll find a way to get it to you from the outside. Maybe this admonishment this morning. He’s speaking to you and to me, saying that He is perpetually preaching and His Word and His message is one of goodness and victory and authority.
He wants to not only preach it to you from the inside and from His Word, but He wants you to preach it through you… through your life… through the demonstration that He wants to perform in your body, in your mind, in your finances, in your family, in your ministry, in your business.
He wants to have His way, but we’ve got to give Him permission. That’s what faith is really by definition. “Lord, I give you permission today to have your way. I give you permission, Lord, because I lay down what I think and what I want for what you want. I give you permission by giving you time and my attention today.”
Reflections from E.W. Kenyon’s book, “In His Presence”…
And so E.W. Kenyon writes in this chapter entitled “What He Is to Us.” He says, “Nothing is impossible to Him and all His ability is ours. What an opportunity to bless and help others by our prayers. When the angel visited Mary to tell the glad tidings of the Father’s will to her to be the mother of the Incarnate One. She said a remarkable thing. ‘Behold, the handmaid of the Lord. Be it unto me according to your word.’ Luke 1:38.
How that grips the heart. Hear her say, ‘Behold, here I am, Your slave of love. Be it unto me. Oh Lord, according to your Word.’
“What sublime confidence that Jewish maid had in the word of the angel when she said this. Previously, she had spoken ‘How can it be? I am not a married woman?’ The angel answered her in Luke 1:35 from the Moffitt’s translation, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you. The power of the most high will overshadow you. Hence what is born will be called Holy Son of God.’”
Let the Holy Spirit come over you today…
The Bible says He’s ever brooding and hovering over us, desiring to do good, desiring to extend mercy and kindness and grace, desiring to hook you up with heaven’s flow so that you don’t live on your own and by yourself today, in your own strength and your own intellect. God did not choose you to do things on your own. He did not send you here to be an orphan. He’s with us. He’s in us. And heaven’s flow is available for us to pray today, available for us to celebrate or rejoice today. Take courage today. Adopt a new attitude of mind, the Bible reads. We’re to every day adopt a new perspective—God’s perspective.
E.W. Kenyon goes on to write…
“And then the angel said, ‘For with God, nothing shall be impossible.’”
Hint, hint… This is what God is preaching to you and me today.
Pay no attention to the balance in your checkbook. I’m not saying you shouldn’t balance your checkbook or be a good steward or know the state of your flocks, as the Word says, but don’t let that rule your life. Let His Word rule your life. Let His Word saturate your consciousness and your view going forward. That His desire and will is that you would increase more and more, you and your children. His desire is that you would prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers and is in health, First John 3:2. So nothing is impossible to those who believe.
He goes on to say…
“This has been translated as for no word from God shall be void of power, for with God nothing is ever impossible. This is creative ability. That’s is God’s Word. How it thrills our hearts when we realize that God and His Word are one. Mary recognized that God and His Word were one. God’s Word is God’s faith expressed. It is God’s confession about Himself. His Word is invested with authority and His ability. Remember that He said, ‘By the word of the Lord were the heavens made.’ Psalm 33:6. ‘By faith we understand that the worlds have been framed by the Word of God, so that what is seen hath not been made out of things which appear.’ Hebrews 11:3. That’s faith’s creative ability through words.”
Let me remind us this morning…
…that God works through words. He’s speaking words over your heart and your situation today to encourage you, for you to grab hold of. Words aren’t things that just kind of float ethereally through the air or something we hear and then it’s gone.
No words from God’s perspective are tangible substance and expressions of faith… if they’re His Word and what He intends. And He desires to work through your words today. But He first speaks a word to us from His Book and to our hearts that are meant for us to grab hold of and wage a good warfare with, in prayer and just as we go about our day. And instead of saying what we see, say what you desire. Isn’t that the promise of God? That if we’ll say a thing and believe it and doubt not on our heart, that what we say will come to pass, we will have whatsoever we say. Mark 11:23… that you could move mountains, that you could exercise authority over darkness, over insufficiency, over sickness, over problems, over your city.
Pastor Lynne at Mark Hankins Supernatural Leadership Conference…
…which she and Pastor Mac are presently at. She spoke the other day and said God grants prayers or grants words or utterance to us to pray and to decree, and that those prayers and those utterances become keys in the realm of the spirit that unlock geographical places for the Gospel to go to. But those words also unlock hearts, unlock situations, unlock your body from being perpetually bound to a particular disease or problem or dysfunction. Unlock souls… unlock atmospheres.
Example of the rappers…
Like I said yesterday when I talked about that example of those rappers and how that one rapper saw another well-known rapper rapping on stage and out of his mouth came fumes and curses and all sorts of negative things. And the people in the audience were singing back those same curses and darkness was coming out of their mouths.
The enemy also knows the power of words to do his plan because he does have a plan. But we’re here to stand in this time and generation in this time of prayer to contend for God’s plan. That our words would unlock the plan of God, that our words would open up places.
I’m reminded that Paul encouraged the early church to pray that “an entrance would be made available to me, that I would step into a bigger, larger, place, that there would be freedom and utterance and boldness and ability to proclaim the gospel, and that the gospel would freely travel and do what God intends for it to do.”
Our words are key to helping us step over that threshold, into a new season…
We are in a threshold moment of time in the church’s history. We’re at a threshold and our words are key to helping us step over that threshold and enter into a new season and place where God intends for us to level up, for us to come up. He’s summoning us to come up, but He needs us to hear the Word of the Lord. And say the same thing because that’s what faith does. Faith sees and faith says the same thing that God is saying.
You are framing your world with your words…
Somebody once said that life and this thing called “the journey of faith” is an open-book test. We don’t have to go it alone or from memory. We can open the Book and say what God has said and see the same results that God saw as He created the world with His words. He framed His world with His words. You too are framing your world today.
What will you say?
What will you pray?
What will you decree?
Especially in those moments when you’re tempted… in those moments where nothing changes or maybe it goes from bad to worse. What an opportunity to step up and cross over the threshold of faith and say,
It’s going to go God’s way.
I’m not moved by what I feel.
I’m not moved by what they say in the media.
I’m not moved by what has been happening presently.
I’m moved by the Word of God and that only.
And I choose to rejoice and to celebrate that though my heart hurts or my bank account is depleted, or my kids are crazy, or whatever, though that might be the present state of things, this too will change. Because everything you see and feel and filter through your five physical senses is an indication of the temporal realm, which means that it’s all subject to change.
Don’t settle for only partial answers to your prayers…
Even from this moment to the end of the day, there can be wholesale change that you see. Do you believe? Will you choose to believe that as that? There was a prophecy I read a few days ago by brother Kenneth Hagin, and by the Spirit of God, he said don’t settle for 75% of the answer or breakthrough. Don’t settle for 80% or 90%, or even 99%. I like to say, “stomp the gas” in the spirit and with your faith. And don’t settle until you see a 100+ % of what God has promised. He is a God according to Ephesians 3:20, who desires and the way He rolls is such that He does and wants to do, exceeding abundantly, above and beyond what we can ask or think. Ephesians 3:20.
Is that a good word this morning or what? Come on now! Can I get an amen? Because it’s just true. I don’t care if you think I’m whatever. I mean, this is God… His Word is true. Let every man, every individual be a liar, but let God be true. Glory to God. Either we believe the Book, or we don’t! I’m not going through a religious motion. I’m not playing church anymore. Not that I ever intended to do that. I want all of God. I want to be ablaze for Him. I want us, the church, to be so bright that there’s no denying that something is going on in the house of God and that the world begins to look to us.
Like I read yesterday about Aimee Semple McPherson…
…who outdid our own government back in the 30s in feeding the poor and contending and working to address justice issues of their generation and time. She stood out. She had a remarkable ministry. Because of the prophetic innovation that came to and through her, because she contended for the plan of God and for the fullness that God wanted to see realized in their time, in their generation, in their city of Los Angeles. And of course, she had a greater congregation than that reached all around the world. The first ministry that leveraged the medium of radio to reach the masses with the Gospel.
E.W. Kenyon…
So I was reading from E.W. Kenyon’s book “In His Presence” where he writes, “You remember that practically all of Jesus’s miracles were performed with words? He said this significant thing, ‘What you hear me say is not my word, but the word of the Father who sent me.’ John 14:24.”
Hint, hint, He’s giving us a template, a pattern to follow. It wasn’t even His words. It was His Father’s words. It doesn’t matter if it’s not your words or your vision… take hold of His. He’s given you His vision and His words to overcome and frame a new and better world for you and yours and all those that God’s called you to influence.
In John 12:49, in the Moffitt translation, we read, “I have not spoken on my own accord. The Father who sent me, he was who ordered me what to say and what to speak.” So Jesus was not using His words, but the Father’s words. The words that have come down to us, spoken by the master were the words of the Father. They were creative words. They were healing words. They were demon-dominating words… words filled with God and His faith.
Subjects prayed about…
Healing over disease, brokenness…
Dysfunction in the body…
Restoration and healing…
I command what has been out of joint to be put back …
Pain, sickness, cancer, deformity to cease…
Curse, flu and colds and every bacteria and germ to cease…
Migraine headaches…
Digestive problems… stomachs and intestines, pancreas, and every part of the GI tract…
Recreate missing parts, holes in certain parts… esophagus, intestines, the stomach lining…
We agree with every person that needs to go to the doctor to get an encouraging report… a clear and all thumbs up report…
Nothing detected in your cells, in your blood work in that X-ray in that MRI…
Practice the habit of joy and laughter in the face of the enemy. Laugh in the face of the negative report.
Word came forth…
Somebody needs to just raise your hands and voice and praise the Lord. Everything that has breath should praise the Lord, for He is worthy. He is worthy. He’s going to sustain you today. He is going to propel you today. He is going to bring into fullness today, the answer and the miracle for you in Jesus’ name. Doors are opening up and opening wide for you. You are being set up for success as God defines it. You’re being set up to step through and step over the threshold into a new place and season. We declare that over the church today. We declare that over the body of Christ today. We declare that over America, spiritually today in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah.
Prayer subjects…
We just proclaim the wonderful works of God today in Indonesia…
We pray that the way would be made for your plans and your gospel…
For new pathways and new avenues and new innovations…
A revealing of some things that have been hidden. Some secret things that you have planned in your places and in your realm. Lord, let them come forth now. Let them be uncovered and discovered now among your people, an ignition of the works of Jesus… of signs and wonders and miracles…
A turning up of your Shekinah glory… holy fire… power of God…
We lift up the nations… for mercy upon nations right now…
Must come now upon America, upon the nations in the way of an awakening and revival…
Save America… Save Israel.
Prayer for Israel…
Lord, we lift up Israel this morning. We pray for a breaking of the stalemate, a breaking of every hindering force, a breaking of every blockage… Stoppage. Lord, let there become penetration through the forces of darkness, through the seemingly impenetrable barriers and walls the enemy has erected through deceptions and lies and strongholds of every sort and category.
Lord, we pray for a supernatural breaking through now into a new season…
New expression of God among the peoples of nations…
Send resources, send innovations.
