Morning Prayer Summary for Thursday, April 8, 2021

Pastor Ray…

Good morning. It seems like we’re like Pastor Mac is in a series usually. We’re in a series this week of Holy Spirit, come more,

we yield, we want it, we desire you, we’re open to you, we roll out the red carpet, the blood of the lamb.

Thank you for your presence in our lives. Thank you for this day. Our hearts are beating and we’re alive. We’re strong, we’re overcomers. We can do all things in and through you. Thank you for the blood of the Lamb. Hallelujah. In that blood, through that blood we overcome. We’re still overcoming as we go through day by day, overcoming in every way. Thank you for your presence this morning. Hallelujah.

So I’d have two very familiar people. I wanted to hear what they had to say about the Holy Spirit. I’ll just read brother Hagin’s little commentary. I think this is from “Understanding the Anointing.” He said, “When you discuss the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus, most people immediately respond. ‘Well, yes, but He was the Son of God. That’s why He could do all that.” And, of course, He was but what they failed to realize is that He, as the Son of God, was one thing and He as a person ministering was another thing. He did not minister as the Son of God. He ministered as a mere man anointed by the Holy Spirit. And we can see how He’d head for the hills and be there overnight getting the will of the Father by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Then brother Hagin says, “Oh, how real He is. If people would start developing that consciousness of the indwelling spirit when they first became Christians, He would manifest Himself. But too often, they haven’t been taught correctly. They thought they got an experience. They kept trying to have another experience like that one. But it wasn’t an experience at all. It was someone, a divine personality, who came to live in them. He is a heavenly being, the Holy Spirit. I’m convinced that the more we yield to the Spirit of God and are taken over by Him, yielding to Him.”

How much more can we, you know, give to Him like we said yesterday? We said, we’re saying we want more and He’s saying, I want more of you. I want more of you! Instead of singing “I need you more” maybe He’s singing, “I need more of you so that I can manifest through you and bring change around you.” So brother Hagin said he’s “convinced the more we yield to His Spirit and are taken over by Him, the more results we’ll see.” Because it’ll be Him. We’ll be yielded even more and we’ll have more and He’ll have more. God wants to raise up a mighty spiritual army. When? Right now! In these days, equipped with His power and His Spirit that He can place His anointing upon.

I know there’s a lot more we can learn about the anointing, but I know we’ve learned some things. But there’s always more to learn. There’s always more to know. As we yield to the power. Think of it. Power of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus.

Lord, seems like words that we speak, words that we pray should reveal unto us if we listen. How much we’ve actually yielded to Him. In Him there’s fullness. There’s power. There’s everything. Everything is in that precious holy anointing. We’re going nowhere. We’re not making a difference if we’ve not truly yielded, been baptized in the Holy Spirit, filled up, stirred up, anointed up, and ready to make a difference.

Thank you, Holy Spirit. Okay, Miss Annie, do or say whatever you want.

When you’re singing that, it’s basically John 14:26, “But the comforter, counselor, helper, intercessor, advocate, strengthener, standby, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name in My place to represent Me and act on My behalf. He will teach you all things and He will cause you to recall, He’ll remind you of, bring to your remembrance everything that I’ve told you.” I love that. “Peace I leave with you, My own peace I give and bequeath to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Neither let them be afraid” in 2021. Okay? “Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated or disturbed and do not permit yourselves to be fearful or intimidated or cowardly or unsettled.” Why? Because the comforter, the counselor, the helper, the intercessor, the advocate, the strengthener, and the standby, the Holy Spirit. When Jesus left, the Holy Spirit came, and we’ve received.

That’s why we want more. We want more comforts. We need more help. We need a whole lot more strength to stand… and we know you’ve given it to us. Holy Spirit of the living God, fall fresh upon us again today. I know there is a renewing. I know there’s a rejoicing. I know there’s a restoration of things maybe that were lost, things that should have been so and they weren’t, but they will be because the Holy Spirit has come to live in you and me. Okay, go ahead, Annie. Just a little bit more, please.

Pastor Ray…

I just saw this is my Bible. It’s from the Passion translation, Romans 12:2. This is the way it says it. “Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you,[a] but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.”

To me, where it says, stop that but open yourself up to this inwardly being transformed, changed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation about how you think.”

So sometimes we’re thinking the wrong things. Sometimes we’re thinking things that don’t even line up to the Will and Word of God. No! we’re not going that way. The Amplified says “Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].”

That’d be exactly what the way this says it. This will empower us to discern God’s will as we live out our beautiful life. That lines up with our declaration “every day is better. Things are getting better.” We’re not talking about just the world, we’re talking about us, but we’re not of this world. We’re talking about believers. We’re talking about King’s children. Things are getting better because it’s His plan and will. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord.

Listen to what John Olsteen said, “The Holy Ghost is the executive power of God. God the Father, His job in planning salvation. Then Jesus came down and completed His redemptive work. He has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. This now is the age of the Holy Ghost.” And he said, “I do not know of anybody in our day, this living or raising a family or trying to serve God that does not need the ability or the efficiency or the might of the Holy Spirit.” We need it! It’s ours. Thank you, Father. We’re strengthened. We’re anointed. We’ve been equipped. We have the written Word. We have the word spoken by and through the Holy Spirit. We’ve had words spoken over us personally, and it’s made a difference and it will continue to do that. Words spoken by and  through the Spirit will bring about a change, turning things around. “Well, I don’t know how that will work.” We don’t have to know. We just know it will. We know it works. We know He’s working. He’s working right now. Thank you, Holy Spirit.

He said, “You must realize that you’re not prepared to touch the world effectively until you are clothed with power from on high; that clothing comes in the baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire. Remember that the Holy Ghost is in us to bring about a demonstration.” I like that, that He’s in us to bring about demonstrations. And He’s eager and jealous for Jesus to be glorified. That’s what He does. He’s zealous to perform this demonstration. I love it. That’s why, you know, we said that we want more and He wants more. He wants more of us to bring about greater demonstrations on this earth that people will wonder about. Supernatural wonders, signs, miracles.

“He will rise quickly to come to the aid of every believer to demonstrate to the world that Jesus has completely conquered Satan and every demonic force. He’ll rise quickly and come to our aid. After Jesus ascended to the Father and sprinkled His blood on the mercy seat, we received the right to have our bodies become temples of that same mighty Holy Ghost. We could then partake of the dynamic supernatural flowing energy that Jesus had during His earthly life. Jesus knew the power of the Holy Ghost. He knew that it was so good, so wonderful that He could come to earth as a man demonstrate it and then die that all might have it. The baptism in the Holy Ghost is not just a goal, but a doorway to the supernatural power of God.”

Oh, yeah. It’s not just the goal. Well, I’m baptized in the Holy Ghost. That’s been my goal, but it’s a doorway to the supernatural power of God to work for Him to bring about great mighty demonstrations through each one of us… every single one of us count. He knows who we are. He knows what we’ve been called on to do. He’s anointed us. He’s equipped us. He’ll bring those things that we just read this morning back. The things that He’s talked to us about, bring them back to our remembrance. When? When we need it. At the right time and the right place. And we’ll just have that thought, but it’ll be the Holy Ghost reminding us what He said and what He did.

“Since the baptism in the Holy Ghost is God’s method of clothing His people with power to destroy the works of darkness, it stands to reason that the Devil would lie about it, criticize it, make fun of it, do everything possible to hinder anyone from receiving it.”

Isn’t that the truth? Well, it’s too late. We’ve been filled. We’ve been baptized in the Holy Ghost. We’re not ashamed. We’re not proud. We’re humble. We’re so thankful. I believe we’ll never forget that day when we received that infilling of the Holy Ghost. I know where I was standing. I know what I was doing. I know when it happened. Brother Osteen said that was just a doorway to the supernatural.

You know how we’ve been here at this ministry, trained up, raised up over the years… many of us for many years. But just under the ministry of Pastor Mac and Lynne and that this church Living Word Christian Center founded on prayer. It was founded on prayer, came out of a prayer group. It’s still the same. And we’ve been raised up to yield to the Holy Spirit when we pray. Otherwise we’re only praying out of our mind. Thank you, Lord.

Pastor Ken…

I may have shared this once before, but I remember hearing a story a while back of a man who died and actually experienced heaven. And when he was there, he was kind of getting a tour of heaven, of the heavenly realm. And he walked by what looked like a library and he saw angels coming and going, accessing the stacks within this library. And so he asked the Lord, “What’s this all about?” And the Lord said, “Have you not read my Psalm 139? Where it says it all your days for each of us were written down in a book before we were even conceived born on this earth. Very interesting and also very freeing to think, okay, what are we striving and struggling and what are we doing here? Why aren’t we simply yielding to the plan and the provision that’s already been put in place for us long before we ever took a stride on this earth.

But anyway, one of the other things this gentleman understood very clearly when he was there is that when you pray in the Spirit and maybe the Lord … The Lord didn’t instruct him about specifically praying in the spirit. But what he understood is that when you pray in your heavenly prayer language, when you yield to the Spirit, you are literally praying sentences and paragraphs from your book, your personal book of destiny. Or perhaps other people’s books. So, anyway… prayer is way more supernatural and way more profound than we really fully understand. And I was just thinking of just to add to what Pastor Ray… was just totally flowing with that, what he said earlier. I wanted to read this from Jude chapter 20 from the Passion. It says, “But you, my delightfully loved friends constantly and progressively build yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy faith. Praying every moment in the Spirit.” And, you know, I was just thinking too, the thing that hit me was … I was watching something recently about Verner Bon Bron, or whatever. I can’t remember now exactly how to pronounce his name, but he’s the Russian physicist/scientist who came to the United States after World War II. And he was the guy that was instrumental in basically creating, you know, a rocket program and developing not only rockets, but then specific propellant to enable those rockets to break free from the earth’s gravitational pole. And I thought, you know, prayer is our propellant. And I know in my life, in fact, I was having a conversation with Pastor Lynne not long ago, and I was just sharing with her, you know, what she knows to be very true. I have to say in my life, you know, prayer has been so instrumental to such a degree that I’ve just find myself over and over again, doing things and experiencing things in my life that I never thought I would or never thought I could. But I did make choices at different times just to yield myself specifically to my prayer language, praying in the Holy Spirit, which then saturated my weaknesses, diminished them, mitigated them and empowered or fueled me with the propellant of heaven to go and do what I didn’t see myself able to do or that I couldn’t do. So just remember that prayer specifically in the spirit, whether that’s in English, but especially in your prayer language, as we read in Jude 20 is your propellant to break free from the gravitational pull of bondage of your past of whatever it is that’s holding you back maybe for years.  Let me just tell you, I mean, there’ve been times in my life where praying in the spirit literally like … I think Pastor Lynne pointed that out to me years ago. She said, “Ken, sometimes praying in the spirit will move you into a whole other place. It’ll shift you. You didn’t have anything to do with it but you did yield to the Spirit and that Spirit of God fueled you with propellant that moved you from where you are to where you could be and where God said you should be.” And sometimes that’s the only thing that will shift you. The only thing that will enable you to break free from the gravitational pull of this world and other things that hold us down and weigh us down and enter the realm or the new place or the promotion or whatever it is He has for us. It’s truly our supernatural empowerment as Pastor Ray said to do all that He’s called us to do. I just encourage you… I like word pictures and to kind of see me praying in the spirit, my angels coming and going from heaven’s library to access the resources and the sentences and the paragraphs that come directly from my book of destiny. And then those angels work. Praying in the spirit also sets in motion heavenly resources, a.k.a. angels, to work in the realm around us. Oh, if we could just see beyond this thin veneer of the natural what’s really going on. And when you pray in the spirit, it sets them in motion to work, collaborate, partner with you to make possible your plan… God’s purpose… to even reroute the destinies and the paths of other people. Prayer is, you know, don’t let anybody convince you otherwise it’s still the most relevant and important thing and message and truth that the church needs to hear in this hour. So, anyway, that’s more than I wanted to say. I just wanted to add that.

Pastor Ray…

I love that picture. Pull down a book and there you are praying in the Holy Ghost and praying out that plan. That just reminded me of when I was invited to a church in another state. And it seemed like an up and coming church. They had a newer building and they wanted some natural things done. They wanted a set, you know, something on the stage and I could do that. But also was involved here at Living Word in the prayer ministry. So we had design places. We always have had that… a room or rooms for what prayer. Not for other things, but for prayer. And so just that alone making a place. And so I went and I did that over a few days and then I was there for a service. And the pastor called me to his office and we were just talking and whatever. He liked what was done. And I said without even thinking, “In this building, where’s your prayer room?” And he goes, “Oh well, we don’t have one.” Oops. And I just assumed he had one, a place. He goes, “Well, we don’t have a room for that.” But anyway, whatever… I’m paraphrasing. He said, “If we want to pray, we can just pray in my office here.” Well, that’s true. But I noticed that years later, he actually exited earth and the church was no more.

Prayer is the foundation. And I love what you said. It’s always relevant. Prayer has to still be maintained and there has to be room for it. And it has to be done. You can’t just go always on what someone else prayed years ago. Although those prayers are making and do make a way for us today. You know, they’re still working. Like Sharon Stromly used to play in here. She said about the notes that she played or the songs that she sang. They don’t just go, boom. They just keep going. Words. Prophecies. The Word. Word spoken by the Spirit. Let’s pray for a little bit. We we’ve been raised up in this. Thank you, Father. And we’re not patting ourselves on the back. We’re learning. We’re still in school. The school of the Holy Ghost. (tongues) Let’s just yield to the Spirit. (tongues) Oh, that will, that will, that will… Holy Spirit, you said you lead us. You are!…  yeah, the Master’s plans… pray out those things… gaining, gaining territory, gaining rounds, gaining regions… restored… That one and that one and that one… I’m praying for somebody’s uncle. I don’t know who that is. I don’t know who you are, but God knows … Enter into the perfect will… take a step, take a step… Take that step… we plead the blood of Jesus right there over your uncle … delivered, made free, whole, healthy and restored… shalom… nothing broken… Oh, Oh, Oh yeah. Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Oh yeah. Oh yeah…  leaning, leaning, leaning further in…  there’s a way there. There’s a way… I can see there. I see there’s a way… We’ll take that main way. We’ll take that heaven way… breakthroughs… breakthroughs… breaking through… take the Master’s way. The Master’s plan. The Master’s will… the power of the Holy Ghost… by the blood of the Lamb… We plead it. We use it. We declare it. We purposely apply it. The blood of Jesus right there… we press in… we press out… we press forward… we’re marching… we’re an army… we take our position… we take our place… we’re running a race… we’ll not stop… we’re not pulling over to the side… we’re not taking that exit. No, in Jesus’ name. Oh, now we rest in you, Lord… we know we can because you did. You could, you did. Oh, open, open, open, open opening openings all around… bigger, greater and grander… we’ll never say our country’s going down. We’ll never speak against this United States of America… we declare this day an uprising… the power of the Holy Ghost… great awakening state by state… once the state of that state in Jesus’ name, be changed. Be rearranged. Be filled. Be stirred. Be set on fire of the Holy Ghost… Oh, America …one nation. Oh one nation under God… some things are shaking and some other things are shaken up… but the church will not be shook up… for the church is standing strong … for the power of the blood is working all day and all night, 24 seven… the blood of the Lamb…

Miss Annie, star singing at other tongues. Just go ahead.

Annie led group in worship…
Pastor Ray…

There are words in those notes. One thing I heard was “It’s sooner. The things that you felt would never, ever come to pass, they will. And it’ll be sooner than you ever thought.” It seemed like those… I saw you singing in tongues and then those notes were adding to the anointing to break loose or break free into that realm of the supernatural, like never ever before. I hear a sound. And it’s the sound, it’s a victory song. It’s not like any other sound. It’s victory overcoming obstacles and stepping right on through, into new territory or different realms where you’ve never been before, or touched by the power from heaven by the precious Holy Spirit.

Annie continued…

To me, it’s this is truly just practicing His presence. You never get to like right here at the end, you don’t get here if you don’t start over here. If you don’t start over here. And all of a sudden, you know, other things will happen. Words will come, songs have come. Sounds will come. And change will come. Thank you, Lord. God, bless your day. It is blessed. We are blessed. Amen.
