Ms. Annie led us singing Let It Rain

Pastor Ray…

Thank You for the rain, Lord, the former rain, latter rain, the rain of Your Spirit, we need it, we’re calling for it. Thank You for it, Lord.

The following excerpt was taken from True Stories of the Miracles of Azusa Street and Beyond by Tommy Welchel:

MODERN-DAY: MIRACLES OF TODAY

Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. (Acts 2:41, 43)

Revival means to revive or restore back to life or consciousness. Sometimes a pastor or minister wants to “wake up” his or her congregation or even grow its numbers. An evangelist will come and infuse fresh ideas into the minds of the congregants to spiritually spark them back to life and to a new level of spiritual awareness. A revival is really for the saints, the believers. To be revived, there has to be something—faith—revivable.

The Azusa Street Revival is really a misnomer. Azusa Street was an awakening! As in the Upper Room in the Book of Acts, it first shook its own, then eventually the whole world. Not just Christians. Everybody. An awakening is for all, not just for the saints.

Azusa Street wasn’t planned. It was prayed down. There is a physicality,” if you will, to the realm of the Spirit. Revelation 5:8 speaks of this: “…and they held gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.” I like the way Tommy puts it: “Rain doesn’t fall. Rain never falls. It keeps collecting and getting so heavy that gravity pulls it down.”

The power of God works the same way. We keep praying and praying until the bowls get so heavy with prayers, we pull heaven down. That’s what they did at Azusa Street. That’s what Bartleman was doing with his prayer groups all over the city prior to the outpouring.

“I’m going to keep telling people these stories from Azusa” Tommy says, until the prayers of God’s people get so heavy, we pull it down again. According to Tommy, We don’t have to contend to have the hundred-year prophecy fulfilled, but we have a part to play. That role is mainly praying and seeking God, and to keep on seeking that anointing until we pull it down. Remember, it’s just like rain.

Don’t forget, we are living in the period of the prophecy! This time it’s going to be bigger, better and global. The prophecy is now coming to pass in different parts of the world. People are hungry for this next outpouring. The release of Tommy’s first book was a trigger for this anticipated, mightier move of God, as we are about to show.

It makes me wonder – were we the holy envy of Parham, Seymour, and all the people of Azusa Street when they were still alive?

So many people get excited and want to talk to me about the hundred-year prophecy. “Have you seen any of it?” they ask. I say, “You bet I have!” I get calls from all over the world.

One of my favorite testimonies is from a missionary to China named Brother X. He’s asked me not to give his real name because his life would be in danger if his identity was known. He and other missionaries print my first book in Malaysia for $.27 a copy. Then they smuggle the books into the country and give them away for free.

I called Brother X and asked, “Brother, how many books have you gotten into China?”

He said, “Over 200,000.°

“wow!”

He said, “Brother Tommy, they don’t know any better than to believe. They are having the same thing they had at Azusa Street. Even the Chinese soldiers go by, and they see glory over there [places where meetings are held]. They don’t go in. They’re scared.”

I asked, “How often do miracles happen?”

He said, “Miracles happen at all their meetings. They’re having limbs grow out. They’re raising the dead. They’re having it all in China now.”

I said, That’s great! How about salvations?”

Brother X said, “We figure an average of three per book.”

I said, “Over 600,000 people?”

He said, “That’s right, Brother Tommy. All of China is having revival. They just keep it quiet.”

He finished by saying, “There’s only one book that’s more popular than your book in China the Bible.”

Jumping across a couple of oceans to South America, an American missionary named Brother Paul Borel found my hook and read it. Fluent in Portuguese, he went to an open-air church gathering of 9,300 people in Brazil. Brother Paul didn’t know that they had been praying to see this kind of manifestation. He just stood up and started reading from my book.

When he read about the Shekinah Glory, people started falling out in the Spirit. I asked about how many fell out. All of them,” he said. “Nine thousand, three hundred people were slain in the Spirit.” I couldn’t believe it. He said, “You couldn’t walk down the aisles. There were people everywhere.’’

I asked him what he and the pastors did during this time. “We waited for them all to come to.’’ I can just imagine that scene. All those people. I love that testimony.

Pastor Ray…

Remember how Brother Hagin always said that we are right on the verge or threshold of the greatest move of God. We have to believe that is so true.

Things are changing. There is change all around us. We welcome it. We want it. We have to keep pressing and filling up, lifting our prayers up until they are so heavy that (shewww) the rain of the Spirit. And it’s Azusa but it’s not Azusa. It’s 2019, 2020. It’s greater, bigger. That’s part of the prophecy.

Part of what the prophecy said was that it will be greater, it will be bigger, and it will be global and it will keep happening until He comes back. It’s not going to wane. It’s not going to be over but it will just keep getting greater. Hallelujah.

Ms. Annie played the notes of Let It Rain

Pastor Ray…

It’s almost like a marching in the notes. It’s a contending for the rain of the Spirit more than ever before. It’s that outpouring. That we’d be so revived that we would pray and pray and believe to receive the rain from heaven. It’s like the clouds in the natural that become so heavy with the rain that the gravity pulls it to the earth. It overrides the wind. The winds keep holding it up and holding it up until it’s so heavy that it will come and yield to gravity.

Today, so today the rain, the rain, more rain… more rain, Lord.

Pastor Ray…

You know in the natural too, we call for rain in California. Speaking of Azusa and the revival that took place over there; that rain of the Spirit that fell. We pray today for rain, natural rain to fall and to quench those fires that are burning right now and we say “Stop, cease in Jesus’ name. Winds calm down and rain fall in Jesus’ name.”

We pray for every man, woman, child, the homes, the houses, the firefighters in the name of Jesus. We pray for protection over each and every one as these things to begin to calm down, stop in Jesus’ name, in Jesus’ name, in Jesus’ name.

Fires stop, desist in Jesus’ name, stop it! Calm down! Get down! Stop! We command it in the name of Jesus. Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord.

Thank You for the Holy Spirit rain! Thank You for Holy Spirit fire! Thank You for Holy Spirit wind! Thank You for the oil! Thank You!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You again and again and again and more and more and more! The wind, the rain, the fire, and the oil – thank You! Thank You, Lord. Thank You for it, Father.

Pastor Ray…

Jesus is Lord over the United States of America. Jesus is Lord state by state by state. Ha! Jesus is Lord! There are more of us than there are of them! Jesus is Lord over America. Hallelujah.

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
