Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Brother D.J….
The Bible says when they started worshiping early in the morning… They got up. My mind is going to, I think it’s Second Chronicle 20:20. “So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord, for His mercy endures forever.” 22 Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated. 23 For the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.”
When they got up early in the morning, they said, “We are going to praise the Lord in the beauty of His holiness. We are going to worship Him.” And they started getting up early and they went out. And the music was playing and the Bible says they start saying, “Give praises to His name. Oh Lord!”
And when they started worshiping, praising, thanking Him, the Lord sent ambushments and the enemy was defeated. There’s something about praise and worshiping.
Someone said, “Whenever I come to church, I have peace. I feel rested. And I have rest and joy and peace.” What happened? When you come to church, there’s praise and worship going on. The Holy Spirit is moving, and all the burdens fall out. The heaviness leaves. Sickness leaves. Disease leaves. And then you feel better.
Like John playing music here this morning, there’s anointing on the music. We remember when King David played the harp and evil spirits would leave King Saul.
Talking about music like John is playing, it was like around 7:30 in the evening. I was just playing music in the restaurant. Just light music. No words. I do that. Because I know the words. But we leave the music so people won’t get too offended. And the music was playing… “Yeshua…” I had one person sitting there, his truck was broke and he came to sit in the restaurant to eat. And the music was going on. And he was from California, and he had a big semi-truck. So he had his dinner and was sitting there. And this Yeshua music was playing. I’m worshiping the Lord in my heart, in my mind. They don’t even know it. And he sat there and I started to share saying, “Good morning, everybody! It’s a good Friday. And thank you, Father. You are going to touch and heal and bring peace and joy to the soul.” So I’m continue sharing this music.
So he was sitting there, he had his meal. And suddenly, I saw him. His eyes were closed. And then he asked me, “What kind of music is this? It’s so relaxing.” Because there’s anointing of the Holy Spirit on this music. I said, “Oh, it’s a Yeshua.” Because my screen had Yeshua music. He said, “Oh, I never heard it. What is that?” Oh, it’s a Christian song. He said, “Oh, I’m feeling good.” He has so much worry about the truck. He said, “I’m relaxing.”
So he started a conversation. “Where do you go to church?” I say, “Living Word. Where do you go to church?” He said, “I don’t.” He’s from California. But I know where he lived because I lived in California. Thousand Oaks. And the church near to him was Greg Laurie Church Harvest. He does the Harvest Crusade. He knew him, but he said, “I don’t go to church.”
We talked about church and so forth. In the end around 1:30, I said, “Okay, you don’t have to pay me today. When you go to California, go to the church by your house and give this money to the church. I know who Greg Laurie is. We heard him a lot.” He said, “I will do that.” I said, “When you come back next time in Minnesota, stop by.” He said, “I will do that.” It’s just the music, the worshiping! The reason I’m telling you this story is because there was anointing on the music.
Dr. Cho in Koria…
I was listening to Dr. Cho, a minister from Korea with the biggest church in the world, 750,000 people under his ministry. He said when he was 14 years old, he had tuberculosis. Because of no food, poverty after the war. They were very poor. So he had tuberculosis disease and he was only 14. He was a devoted Buddhist, and his parents were also Buddhist. So he was 14 years old, walking with no clothes. He’s dying of tuberculosis disease. He cried out to Buddha, “Buddha, heal me. Buddha, why don’t you heal me? I’m only 14. I’m going to die. I have tuberculosis. Heal me, heal me. We are devoted. We go to temple all the time. Why don’t you heal me?”
He cried out day after day, night after night. And then one day, in his frustration, he goes, “God, why don’t you heal me?” He went from Buddha to God. “Why don’t you heal me?” He said the following day, some girl stopped by, a neighborhood lady. Knocked at his door and asked him if he’ll go to church with her. She shared Christ with him. He heard but he didn’t pay attention. But she kept going over and over, again and again to his house. And finally he gave up. He said, “Okay, I’ll go to church.” So he went with her to church and accepted Christ. He gets saved and then the Lord healed him from tuberculosis. He become one of the biggest ministers in South Korea, and he has 750,000 people underneath him?
What happened?
The name! He called upon a different name. But nothing happened. When he called upon Jesus, he got healed from tuberculosis in the name of Jesus.
Jesus Christ, who healed Dr. Cho in South Korea from tuberculosis is the same name that will heal you. He called upon many names, but only when he called upon the name of Jesus, was he saved and healed. He has the largest ministry in the world.
