Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Thank you for coming this morning. We’re going to worship and thank Him for this good Friday.
And the angels cry “Holy… our creation cry Holy.” You are lifted high, holy. We are talking about angels. Angels are in this room. He said He’ll command His angels concerning us to guide us, to lead us the way we should go. We’ll not dash our foot against the stone. And the angels cry, holy, our creation cry, holy. You are lifted high.
He said to sing praise unto the Lord and lift His name high. Higher than the problems. Higher than every concern.
“How do I do that?”
Just worship Him, singing words… Let the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts and our mind be pleasing unto you, oh Lord, our God.
A reminder to us when we sing and worship and praise Him, the Bible tells us when they start singing and worshiping, not when they were sleeping and complaining, but when they start worshiping Him, He sent ambushments and defeated the enemies. So we sing praises to your name, oh Lord.
Testimony of Dr. Chao…
I was reminded of Dr. Cho, who had a church in South Korea. He’s passed away in 2021. He had the largest church in the world. I think around a million people. Anyway, he was so sick with tuberculosis when he was a young boy. He was dying. Poverty, no money, no food, bad nutrition.
One day he was walking home. He prayed to Buddha. “Buddha, why don’t you heal me? My father is a devoted Buddhist. And I’m dying with tuberculosis and the doctor said ‘There’s no hope. We can’t do anything about it. Go home and die.’ So he’s crying out, “Oh, Buddha, help me. Why don’t you help me?”
So then he changed his prayer to, “Oh God, why don’t you help me?” So he turned from Buddha to God, and started crying out to God. “Oh, help me, heal me.” The Lord sent a neighborhood woman. She stopped by his house, knocked on his door. At the time, Dr. Cho was only maybe like 10, 12, 14 years old. He said to her, “What do you want?” She said, “I want to just let you know Jesus loves you. He wanted you to do well.” He said, “Go away, lady.” She laughed. But she came back the next day. And the next day. And the next day. Finally, he went with her to church with her. And he cried out to God and Jesus healed him.
And he got healed, delivered, saved, and filled with the Holy Spirit. He had the largest church in the world. Who healed him? Jesus Christ. When he called upon the name of the Lord. Jesus said, whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. And you can get healed. You will get healed.
Why is this man blind?
I was just reading this morning about the blind man sitting there and His disciple asked Jesus, “Why is this man blind? Did he sin or did his parents sin?” And Jesus said, “Neither one. Not the parents or him. It’s so you’ll see the glory of God.” Hallelujah. And He put mud in the blind man’s eyes and healed him.
You might say, “Why am I going through this situation. Why have we got this problem?” It’s so you can see the glory of God show up in your situation in every place.
Jesus said, “I am the way the truth and the life. I am the resurrection.”
