Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist

Brother DJ…

I was just praying this morning… I was just lifting up some people this morning. And thoughts were coming to my mind about these people. And they were not positive. Suddenly I caught myself. “Hey!” All the thoughts… the Bible says to bring our thoughts and minds into obedience. I have to bring my mind to the obedience to the Word of God. So I started lifting these people up. When I lift them up one by one. Hallelujah! He said He will draw them. It’s easy to put people down by saying the wrong things and thinking the wrong things. But when we lift them up…

If we lift people up, we will rise up…

One time, I was reading something that said, “When we lift people up, we rise up. When we put them down, we go down.” We don’t want to go down. We’re going to go up. Yes!

Thank you, Father, for your goodness and mercy. We lift you up this morning. Yes, we lift you up. You say you draw all men unto you.

We are to forgive…

If you have any ought against someone, He said to forgive them. Forgive them and then lift them up.

Do you have anybody on your mind or thoughts that you have not positive thoughts or something they did to you or something… anyone… any man or woman? Let’s lift them up right now. So we’ll have the peace of God.

Father, you know the name of the man or woman, boy or girl, who has done wrong to you or your thinking, but we lift you up. We pray for them. Father, we pray you will bless them. We pray that you will heal them. We pray that you just touch them.

And we draw the poison of unforgiveness, bitterness … let all bitterness, condemnation or negativity… all get out from our bodies, the poison… and we forgive them as we already have forgiven. Hallelujah.

The blood washes us…

And the blood of Jesus washes us, cleanses us from all unrighteousness, all bitterness, jealous, malice, that cause arthritis, disease. So we are getting rid of all bitterness, all jealousy, all malice…

Rejoice in the Lord always…

Yesterday I called a mechanic. He had my truck there. And he put me on hold and suddenly scripture started coming from that recording. And I’m like, “Man, do I need to hear that!” I was holding my phone and I heard, “Rejoice in the Lord always. When we are sick, when we need money, to rejoice always. Let your gentleness be evident.”

You know, we know when we are rejoicing, we are gentle. Evidence is gentleness, not crabbiness. That’s our evidence that we are happy. The scripture he has recording going on while he put me on hold. I think he had a KTIS radio on. Here it is. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your request to God and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

So he had this recording going on KTIS; they are reading scripture. So he’s saying in everything I pray. I don’t even have time for them. In everything we pray. In all your ways you are to acknowledge Him. And He will direct our paths. Even when we go to grocery store, or wherever we go, in everything we pray. And then the peace of God will come. After praying, we get the peace of God, which transcends all understanding. He gives us understanding after praying, guiding us, our heart, which way to go after the prayer. But the first thing is to pray.

Is anyone among you afflicted? Call for prayer…

Talking about prayer. I read this morning, “Is anyone among you afflicted?” Does anyone have an issue, a problem, suffering? He should pray. James 5:13. He said it is amazing how long we put up with the things before we decide to pray about them. The writer said we do not carry everything to God in prayer. We should carry everything to God in prayer. Everything, like we just read. In everything, every situation, pray.

Listen to this one. It’s so good about prayer. We complain to our friends. We call them up. We complain. We wonder why God does not do something. We wrestle with the situation in our minds, yet we fail to take advantage of the simple solution. There is prayer. The simple solution is prayer.

Charles Spurgeon quote…

Charles Spurgeon wrote, “The desire to commune with God is intensified by the failure of all other sources. We are guilty of treating prayer as last-ditch effort. When you say things like “Nothing else is working, maybe I should pray about it.” Maybe I should pray about it! Do you realize what that says about you? That you really don’t understand or believe in the power of prayer as you should. You’re carrying burdens you don’t need to carry. And life is harder than it has to be because you don’t realize how powerful prayer is. If you did, you would pray about everything.

He said, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, make your request be made known to God.”

If you did, you would pray about everything, not as a last resort, but as a first response. The Bible says “Is anyone among you sick or have issue, afflicted, going through anything? He should pray.” When you have a problem, pray. When someone hurts you, pray. When you’re sick, pray. When you feel like giving up, pray. When someone you love is suffering, pray. When you’re discouraged, pray. When you don’t know what to do, pray.

Now look here. The man who wrote this book, it’s all about prayer. I heard on the radio when I’m holding for the customer service, they have a scripture. Isn’t it amazing? What is God trying to tell me? Pray! Pray more! Not less. And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Here’s the last one. “Pray, pray, pray.” Jesus who prayed early in the morning and late at night, said, “Whatever thing you ask when you pray believe you receive them and you will have them.” At the end it says, “So pray about it. Pray about it.”

For this reason, I kneel before the Father from whom all my family… He said to pray. He said when I think about you, I pray that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened. I pray for you to know the purpose and the glorious inheritance in the saints.

What is prayer going to do? Heal the sick! What is prayer going to do? Raise the dead! What is prayer going to do? Get that depression out of the man or woman we’re praying for.

Forgive quickly…

He said when you start praying for others, forgive quickly. He said, “What should I pray?” When you don’t know what to pray, he said to pray in the spirit. We’re praying for you this morning. You are here this morning in this chapel, many of you and you’re watching and praying. We’re praying for you. We watch and pray. Why do we watch and pray? Because the devil is a roaring lion, looking to and fro whom he can attack… the mind. So we put on the whole armor of God. He say the helmet of salvation.

The helmet of salvation is your Iron Dome…

Somebody said to me last week after Friday prayer, they heard we were praying about how the fiery darts of the enemy coming like arrows. Missiles to our mind, through thoughts. Somebody said to me after prayer, “When they send missiles at Israel, they have the Iron dome.” He said, “I was amazed.” He said our helmet is like an iron dome. Yes, the helmet of salvation. It’s like the Iron Dome. When the enemy attacks your thoughts and mind, you’ve got to have the helmet of salvation.
