Prayer Summary for Tuesday, February 21, 2017

Pastor Ray shared…

February is moving by fast. A lot of things are happening in our nation, in the church, in this body. But I was reading this morning out of Herald of His Coming. If you have never heard about it, you can go online.  I read seven points and scriptures concerning what we are to do now that the election is over. What should we pray for? Should we pray? Yes, we know we should.

We have gone over and over about praying for positions of authority. That’s what we have been called to do. When? First. That’s always an adjustment, every day, to not just take off and start covering your family and your loved ones and everyone else that you know before you pray for the positions of authority. So, it’s just an adjustment that we make because we know it’s right.

The following excerpt was taken from Herald of His Coming on February, 2017:

1. Healing in the church. One of the worst things to happen in this election has been the division among followers of Jesus. Pray for healing of relationships and for the desire of Jesus for unity among His disciples to be fulfilled. ” … May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that You sent Me and have loved them even as You have loved Me” (John 17:23).

2. Healing in the nation. This election has revealed the depths of division in our nation. Opposing world views that fought over the ballot box will continue to battle unless the Lord steps in and brings His peace. Pray especially for the true tolerance that allows for opposing views to be expressed freely. “He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near” (Eph. 2:17).

3. Wisdom for our new president. Leading this nation through these perilous times requires wisdom that only God can give. Pray especially for the choices for the cabinet and key advisors. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding. To Him belongs eternal praise” (Psa. 111:10).

4. Supreme Court choice. For many, the selection of Supreme Court justices became a key part of this election. Pray for wisdom for the president and the senate as they make choices that will impact our nation for many years. “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another… ‘” (Zech. 7:9).

5. Truth to guide the media. Media bias and accuracy was a key concern and issue during this election. Pray for a spirit of truth to cover the media and that reporters and news networks would see their role as givers of information and not as shapers of thought. “Have I not written thirty sayings for you, sayings of counsel and knowledge, teaching you to be honest and to speak the truth, so that you bring back truthful reports to those you serve?” (Prov.22:20–21).

6. A stable economy. An election season such as this past one brings great uncertainty to an economy that was already unsteady. Ask the Lord to steady our economy so that His people can continue to give generously toward helping the poor and advancing the kingdom of Christ. “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich” (2 Cor. 8:9).

7. Revival and a Great Awakening. One of the greatest benefits of this confusing election season has been the increasing awareness within the church that we desperately need revival. Pray for God to send another revival and Great Awakening to our nation that would awaken the church, bring salvation to millions and transform the culture of our nation. “Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before You! As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make Your name known to Your enemies and cause the nations to quake before You!” (Isa. 64:1–2).

Pastor Ray shared…

A Great Awakening to our nation that would awaken the church, bring salvation to millions and transform the culture of our nation, that’s what we want. That’s what we are praying for. That’s what we believe for every day. When we pray for the positions of authority we pray for those leaders in our country. Really, we are praying that they be awakened to, that they have eyes to see and ears to hear and hearts to be open to what God has pre-planned, a great awakening for the United States of America.

Yesterday evening I had heard some things that the President had said in Florida when he had held the rally, some comments that he had made about some things in other countries. And then right away the media started questioning what he was talking about. But really when the truth came out, he was correct in saying what he said. So, Sandy and I had heard that on a network and knew about it.  And then when we were getting dinner ready I moved to the kitchen and the local news was on and they reported the story absolutely opposite, as if the President had no clue what he was taking about. I just went “What? Wait, that’s not even the truth.”

So, it says “truth to guide the media”, the truth of God. I have never been so aware of how things are reported in different ways on different channels. So, we are to be tuned in to the Holy Ghost channel. Amen. We know what’s right. We are not confused about what’s taking place in our nation. We believe our nation is changing. And you remember how long we have been praying and pastor Mac has been preaching “change in our personal lives, change in the church, and change in our nation”? They are changing. Now does the President need wisdom? Yes. Does he need the help of the Lord? Yes. If the Church doesn’t stay up, stay alert, stay praying, then he’s on his own. He can’t be on his own. He needs the help from heaven, wisdom from heaven. Even in those who he picks for cabinets and Supreme Court judge and all these things. We believe for an alignment with the will of God. That even, maybe some we won’t even understand but God knows if we have been lifting it up before Him. Amen.

Ms. Annie led us singing “Send Your Fire, Send the Oil, the Wind and Rain”

Prayed…

Yielding ourselves to more
Not willing to settle for less
Continual move, flow in our services
In the sanctuary or here
You know when things personally are anointed
We believe to connect to Him all the time
If we are not familiar with the wind or fire
It’s up to us personally to stir ourselves up
Just because we come to this chapel a thousand times
There is always more

When the wind blows in, other things blow out
When change comes, things that needed to change will change and they leave
When the new comes forth, the old gets out of the way
When light comes, darkness disappears
Light always dominates darkness! Hallelujah!
Thank You for the light of the Holy Spirit
Thank You for the fire of the Holy Spirit
Thank You for the new, fresh, wind of the Holy Spirit
Blowing new in and blowing old out, hallelujah
OOOOhhhhh the new!
We pray over the new – opening our hearts to the new
We yield to the new (ha, ha, ha)
Thank You! Hallelujah!

I remember one prophecy Pastor Lynne gave years and years ago. In it the Holy Spirit said “Turn your face to the wind.” In other words, turn up your expectation to the wind of the Spirit once again. Maybe some things have grown old or they have grown to be just normal or just another day, another time, another way. But yielding ourselves and turning our faces to the wind of the Spirit and letting him blow in the change.

These are days of change
We have prayed for change – let’s not stop short now when the changes have already begun
But let’s cover so that the body will be one
So that the body can flow out into the places that it’s been called to go
Yielding one another to the wind of the Spirit
To the power of the Holy Spirit, to the fire, to the rain
Thank You Lord

Ms. Annie led us singing in the Spirit

We call on Your name Jesus
Name above every other name
Name above confusion, above deception
We magnify Your name, Jesus
You are Lord, You are Lord
Father, we pray for divine momentum in this nation
One nation under You, undivided, being brought back together more
More and more by the Power of Your Holy Spirit
Praying over every member of Your body – no matter what stream of ministry they may be in
Praying for strength, wisdom, understanding, knowledge from heaven
Words that would be prayed, direction that would be laid out
Abundance in the United States
Abundance of peace, where there has not been peace
We call for peace in Jesus’ name
A paradigm shift in direction, a way of seeing things
Things being rearranged that needed to be
Change, change, change in America
More and greater change -the God kind of change
We pray over it!
It’s Your presence Lord, that Your presence would be manifested all over this country
Over all the leaders of the Church that they would walk in wisdom
That they would seek You first
Were there has been a shortage of the wind
We pray the wind would blow in
Where there has been a shortage of that rain from heaven, we declare it to rain again
You reign! You reign! You reign!
Loose Your wind, loose Your rain, loose Your Kingdom
Jesus reign, Jesus reign
We call on the name that is above all other names
Behind the scenes things would change
Things that we didn’t even necessarily know that they needed to be changed
High positions of authority
We lift up the name that is above every other name
More, and more even greater change
Loosing, loosing things that have been tied up
Be loosed in Jesus’ name – now in these days
Supernatural changes – entering into new days, greater turns
Power to change, power!
Moving ever more in Your way
Mistakes being straightened out
On time and in time!
Justice, justice
Lining some things up – adjustments that have to be made
Where the enemy moved on people and wrong decisions were made – we declare a straightening up and a straightening out
Not moved by the enemy and what he has said
But moved by heaven alone and what God has said in His way
Picking up speed, picking up great changes in Jesus’ name
Dates, times, just the right time in Jesus’ name
Just the right dates and times
Permanently changed in God’s way
Never, never, never to go back but marching on ahead away from lack
Into God’s permanent plan
Oh, that’s the wind of Your Spirit
Hallelujah! Hallelujah Lord
We see supplies come out now!
Blessing without sorrow
For the blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow and neither does striving increase it
Hallelujah

Ms. Annie began singing…

♪ “Let My people go that they may serve Me
Let My people go that they may serve Me
Let my nation go that it may serve You
Let our government go that they may serve You

By a mighty hand we are delivered
By His mighty hand we are free
By His mighty hand He delivers us
And our nation is let go, it will serve Him
Our nation is let go now to serve Him
Our nation is free to serve You”♪

Brother Mike shared…

The Lord wasn’t speaking through Moses to negotiate with Pharaoh to let His people go as if he is asking a boss for a three-day weekend just so I can get away. Like will you please let me go? That was the Lord commanding. The Lord wasn’t negotiating. That was His way of saying “You are done.” You have no more control over My people because I have heard their cry. That the Church stops negotiating and trying to manage the enemy. That those would stand in the government and forms of leadership and say we are not negotiating with the enemy any longer.

Continued praying…

With an outstretched arm and with great terror
We line up with that authority that is from above
He has heard the groaning of all those that are oppressed under wickedness
There is nothing nice about sin; there is nothing nice about allowing it
Because it steals, it kills and it destroys
And He has heard the cry of His people
Everything must bow to the name of Jesus
Jesus is Lord over America
And we will serve Him and Him only
Let my nation go to serve You
Let them go! There is authority in that
We line up with that authority from heaven above
For all authority, all power is in the name that is above every other name – Jesus

The Egyptians behaved proudly with all of their magic arts
But the very thing in which they behaved proudly, Johovah God was above them!
It’s time for the Church to make some noise – Whewww!
It’s a righteous noise, it’s a healing noise, it’s a joyful noise
It’s a peaceable noise, it’s a happy noise, it’s a delivered noise
Hallelujah!
Father, we give You all the Praise, all the honor and all the glory
Thank you for coming
