Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Good morning, everyone. Hope you’re doing well.

Prophetic word that came forth from the Autumn Assembly…

I thought before we go into worship this morning, I would share a prophecy from Autumn Assembly down in Branson, Missouri with Dr. Billye Brim. On October 17, Billye gave a word generally to the church under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

She said, “Stand up and hook your spirit with the Spirit of God. Stand up and let God use you right now to say and to speak.”

That’s what we’re going to do today, right? We’re going to say and we’re going to speak in the Spirit.

She said, “Wars and rumors will continue, but they will go by the way of the words that the Lord has spoken in the earth. Men will rise into offices of power because of God’s will, spoken through you in this hour. Men will fall, men will die. Others will rise and live and go by words spoken here this very night. Yield your tongue. Do what is right.

Brandon Briggs added prophetically…

“Satan is going to try to crush our economy after the elections. But we can stop him. Talking about him trying to crush our economy…”

And this is now Brandon Briggs who spoke up and gave another inspirational word. He said…

“There will be waves of this before the election. But they will hold it back until after the election. I saw the dollar fall by 50%. Then I saw President Trump praying in the White House in the Oval Office. And he was in intercession. It was like Holy Ghost prayer. There were people pacing back and forth. I saw paddles coming upon the soil of America when he, President Trump, was praying. And it, the earth, was shook and the darkness that was trying to settle upon the land was lifted above the trees. The Lord said, ‘If my people that are called by My name will humble themselves and pray.’”

Then Billye spoke up and said…

“That’s what we’re going to do. God’s hand in judgment has risen against leaders and they have fallen. They have fallen. They fell. There was a time when three fell in a row in Russia and now you have seen the hand of the Lord when they have fallen, fallen, fallen in a row, one after the other, after the other. There shall be those that try to raise themselves up, but you shall see them fall. You shall see the high and the mighty take deep falls. With your eyes will you see the reward of the wicked, but you will see it.”

Then Prophet Brandon Briggs spoke up and said…

“The believer has tithers rights and we’re not going to participate in the world’s economy system. Regardless, if it crashes or not, it’s not for us. We are covenant. The Lord said, ‘I’m going to take care of you regardless.’”

He’s going to take care of us regardless…

That needs to be a word to somebody today, right? He’s going to take care of you regardless of what comes down the road, financially and otherwise.

Aren’t you glad He’s a good Father? He’s going to take care of us. I mean, even just you being faithful… us being faithful to pray on a daily basis, moment-by-moment basis, faithful to seek Him and pursue Him and know Him intimately.

Jesus is the way to intimacy with the Father…

Jesus professed once upon a time in His earthly ministry, “I am the way.” Yes, the way to salvation. But additionally and regularly, He is the way to intimacy with the Father. He is the way into the throne room. That’s why the Bible invites us to come boldly to the throne room, because it’s the way… that being through the shed blood of the body and the example of Jesus. His grace and His mercy are why we can come right up into His throne, not just when we’re streaming morning prayer or when we’re in this chapel, but each and every day in the midnight hour, figuratively and literally, we can know Him and we can join ourselves with Him, and we can walk with Him in cadence with Him. How do we walk…

in cadence with His favor
in cadence with His plan
in cadence with His power and
in cadence with His miraculous ability?
How?
By being in conversation with Him, being in pursuit of His presence.
He wants us. He chose you.

He desires to be in fellowship with us consistently. And it’s in that place where we practice His presence and we pursue Him and we diligently seek Him. That we find our lives more accurately and consistently in rhythm with what He intends and thankfully out of rhythm with what’s happening in the world.

The mercy of God is calling…

So the mercy of God is calling for the church, calling for you and for me to turn our eyes away from the distractions of the age and away from the “Negative Nellies” that are purporting this and that on any given day on social media or on the television or otherwise. And to hear His voice that He us calling us to synchronize our lives with Him more and more, that we would be set apart, a separate people separated from what’s going on in the world and joined with the supply and the flow of heaven that is able to provide for us and sustain us spiritually, emotionally, and practically and financially in this hour.

Let not your heart be troubled…

Let me remind you, Jesus repeats many times in His earthly ministry, “Let not your heart be troubled.” Kathy and I were just talking about that. Let not your heart be troubled. He’s got you and He’s got this, whatever this is for you or for our nation. He’s working through us.

So this prophetic word goes on to say…

“It’s not for us. What’s going to happen or what may happen in the days ahead in America or around the world, it’s not for us, for we’re covenant people. I’m going to take care of you regardless. It can go all around us and the storm can blow, but it’s not going to touch us. Psalm 91 and Psalm 23 is what you’ll stand by.”

Somebody needs to hashtag that…

Somebody needs to write that down. Somebody needs to hashtag that. Put that in the chat this morning. Psalm 91. Psalm 23. There’s your prayer assignment, right there. Get a hold of those verses. Remember, we may be a people of prayer, but firstly we must be a people of the Word because it’s the Word that propels us. It’s the Word that gives us a firm foundation on that revelation of the Word.

He and His Word are one.
When you feed on the Word
When you meditate on the Word
When you’re a student of the Word
Then you are a student of Jesus. You’re connected to Jesus.

Jesus said…

“If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, then you can ask what you will and it shall be done unto you.” It is our firm foundation, especially in this hour and in this time of the latter days or the last days, literally. His Word. He and His Word are one. The Bible says He’s even exalted His Word above His name. He holds all things together in the earth and in the cosmos by the Word of His power. Many things will pass away in this current age and will be no more eventually, but His words won’t pass away.

He watches over His Word to perform it…

The Bible says He watches over His Word to perform it, to bring it to pass. And no word has gone forth from the mouth of God, from the heart of God that will not produce a positive, powerful, and intended result because, once again, He watches over that. He’s intent to watch over the Word that comes forth from your mouth, the Word you take hold of in His promises and in His Book that you contend with, that you reflect back to Him.

Because that’s all prayer is. It’s just reflecting His intention, the Father’s heart and the Father’s Word back to Him… reflecting it back like a mirror. So that when He looks and sees He’s, “Oh, that’s My son, there’s My daughter. Thank you for reminding Me of what I promised you. For I’m going to see it through.”

Aren’t you glad for His Word? Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. The words of Christ Jesus. Oh my goodness! The Bible says we’re to be nourished up on words of life, words of faith, the word of God.

So this prophetic word goes on to say…

It reminds us again, “Let Psalm 91, Psalm 23 be what we stand by, what we pray.” He said, “I saw a stream and a table prepared for me in the presence of my enemies. The Lord said, ‘Brandon, this great wall is protecting you from all the storms out there. I’ve got you regardless of what you see. Don’t be moved by what you see or what you feel. Keep going. Keep sowing. And know that I’m going to take care of you regardless.’”

So I pray that that would be encouraging to you this morning, that that would encourage us. He’s got you. He’s going to take care of us regardless. Hallelujah!

Prayed…

And so, Father, we thank you for your faithfulness. We thank you for the holiness of your Word, that it is truth that we can stand by… that it’s truth that we can pray by… that it is heavenly DNA within those words you’ve spoken to us… that can change any situation. And so, Lord, we declare that you are faithful today… that you’re going to see us through today… that we are rising up today as your people, as your sons, as your daughters taking hold of your promises and your words to us. Thank you, Father.

Flowing in the river of prayer…

Let me share a scripture with you. We’re just flowing in the river of prayer here this morning. Have you guys ever seen some of those videos online. I don’t know what nation it is, if it’s Switzerland or somewhere in Europe. [It’s Switzerland] Where people literally jump off bridges into a main river that flows through town and they just let the river carry them. It’s their source of transportation to the other end of town or wherever they live. Maybe you’ve seen a video on YouTube where they just literally just jump in. And they’re fairly buoyant in that river, and it just carries them, I guess. I’ve seen whole groups of people at the end of their workday just jump in and it carries them to their neighborhood or their area of town or whatever. And it’s transportation.

People uncomfortable about prayer…

And that sometimes makes people uncomfortable about prayer because it’s not quite as boxy and have certain parameters, and it’s always the same way every time.

Prayer flows from the throne of God like a river…

No, the Bible describes prayer as a river. In fact, that river originates from the throne of God, according to my Bible anyway. And it issues forth from the realms of heaven and I believe down into the earth through the Holy Spirit and into this realm where we can also go to the river. And we can jump into the river.

Pastor Lynne has taught many times over the years that prayer sometimes is a river. And there’s lots of rapids and turns, and there might even be a waterfall where we all go over at once. Then other times prayer is like a calm backwater. It’s can be quiet and still and peaceful.

But the bottom line is we want to be in that river. We want to be transported by the river of God in prayer. In our lives in general, but it starts with prayer. That’s where we learn to cooperate and be transported and be propelled by that river.

Because the more I journey, I don’t know about you, I don’t want my agenda. Even as pray-ers, we can pray and learn some things and gain some head knowledge about how to pray, but that doesn’t necessarily equate to effectiveness. Just because we prayed one way, one time, it’s going to be effective that same way the next time. No, the Spirit of God has a way about Him. He’s the great strategist and He has the most effective or correct way in any given situation to pray about something, to bring deliverance to a person, to transform a nation.

We must give ourselves to the river…

As we give ourselves to that river, the river will take us where God wants us to go. And it’ll accomplish what He intends to do. And that’s why prayer doesn’t look always the same. And why maybe when I’m up here sometimes I’m just pacing and just… I’m just waiting.

Jesus Himself told His disciples and tells us through their record, “watch and pray.” I think much of prayer is just calming your own soul down. The distracting thoughts and things that contend for your attention. I think that’s why fasting can be important. Because even from an actual natural standpoint, we know that fasting helps bring clarity to you. It helps you get in touch with your spirit and in touch with the voice of the Holy Spirit. And so just know God has got us and He’s got a river that’s taking us somewhere if we’ll give ourselves to it.

I was also thinking about how when you take up the mantle of prayer, when you give yourself to prayer, as the Bible says, and to God’s purposes and to His river and where that leads today, you may be praying about situations that are halfway around the world. You may be praying about something that’s completely outside of you and your agenda. And that’s okay because when you do that, you are actually releasing yourself from cares and worries and things that you can’t solve on your own.

Prayer helps you to release your needs to the hand of God…

And you’re actually, by virtue of you giving yourself to the assignment of prayer in your life, relegating your problems, your needs, your situations. You’re releasing that to the hand of God for Him to take care of those things.
