Morning Prayer Summary for Wednesday, November 21, 2017

Pastor Ray…

In about a half hour, Brother DJ and Ms. Cindy are going to take over. I am not sure what they are going to do. But we are going to worship a little bit and then go through a few Thanksgiving scriptures.

Ms. Annie led us singing Lord, I Worship You, for Your Name Is Holy, Holy Lord

Pastor Ray…

Thank You, Lord, we honor You this morning, love You
Thank You, thank You, thank You
For Your presence in our lives, for the direction by Your Spirit
That You continually lead us and guide us into all truth
Thank You, Father, that by Your Word and by the direction of Your Spirit
We stay on track with You
We look up from where all of our help, health, everything comes from – our heavenly Father
Oh, thank You, Father, thank You, Lord, thank You, Lord

Scripture focus…

(1) Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you lands!
(2) Serve the Lord with gladness! Come before His presence with singing!
(3) Know (perceive, recognize, and understand with approval) that the Lord is God! It is He Who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]! We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

(3) Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek and require the Lord [as their indispensable necessity].
(4) Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength (His might and inflexibility to temptation); seek and require His face and His presence [continually] evermore. Psalm 105:1–4 (AMPC)

(1) Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! Psalm 106:1 (AMPC)

(3) O give thanks to the Lord of lords, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever—
(4) To Him Who alone does great wonders, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever;
(5) To Him Who by wisdom and understanding made the heavens, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever;
(6) To Him Who stretched out the earth upon the waters, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever;

(57) But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ. (58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose]. I Cor. 15:57–58 (AMPC)

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, we are thankful for him and his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Brother DJ…

Back at the end of October, people started asking us if we were going to bless Pastor Kelly with a card thanking him for what he does all year long. So we got a couple cards and sent them around for people to write down their appreciation. It was just tremendous all the words of thanks. Ms. Annie has a whole card filled up and probably 50 people signed just letting him know what a blessing he has been.

Ms. Cindy…

I just wrote down on the card “Thank you Pastor Ray for making room for our Father’s presence.” We do give Him room here in the chapel, that His presence would come because that’s what changes us. And so I just thank you for making room for our Father’s presence to change us and to change the world. And then I wrote “our reward is with us, His presence is our reward.”

Brother DJ…

People started bringing us money and when everything was said and done we received several hundred dollars. What a blessing. Thank You, Father, We give You all the praise and honor. We know that it is all You, Father.

Ms. Cindy…

Last year, we had the idea to do this thanksgiving card and gift thing for You, Pastor Ray. And everyone was so happy because we wanted to show you how thankful we are for everything you do, being here Monday through Friday making room for us to come to the chapel and be changed in His presence. And you know how God has changed me, Pastor Ray. You remember a long time ago. I was so quiet and I am still quiet but I have been changed. I am still changing. I started coming here into the presence of God and His presence changed me. It became not a works thing where before I was trying to work to change. I had my attention on myself so much you know. But really, it’s pushing fear out because in God’s presence, His love, fear is cast out. And then who you really are comes to the surface. So, I am thankful for this time in Morning Prayer and years of being here in this place that you have made room for God to move in.

Brother DJ…

The Bible says to do good to all men but especially the household of faith. We should be a blessing to each other.

Pastor Folu…

Everyone, if you could just stretch your hands toward Pastor Ray. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Saints, even right now as you are stretching your hands to him, that anointing that is upon his life is flowing right back to you. Just in your heart right now, in your mind, think about what our good Lord has done through this man, this man of God, this holy man of God. Just begin to thank God for the encounters that you have had with him, by the Spirit. You might not have even spoken with him but as a result of coming here, the deposits from heaven that have come through this office. You know to me, it’s just amazing what this holy and I emphasize that saints, holy. He is not just a man of God. We thank God for men of God but there is a difference between holy man of God and a man of God. So, Father, we thank You for this holy man of God that has sanctified himself. He has hazarded his life for the sake of this Gospel. That no matter what people say or will say, Father, he and his household, they have made up their minds, they will serve You no matter what.

What an example for the rest of us. What an example to emulate what God has done, what a Good Father has done through this man. So, even right now as you are going down memory lane of the instances, the encounters that the Lord has spoken to your heart through this dear, dear Pastor. And as you are recollecting, going down that memory lane, the Lord will give you and I more opportunities in time to come to have more and more of those kind of encounters, more and more of those kind of opportunities to be taken to the next level in our walk with the Lord.

Father, we thank You so much for what has happened through this office
All these years, faithful – what an example for the rest of us
Faithfulness, we thank You, Father, so much for the faithfulness of Pastor Ray
For his lovely wife, all of his children, all of his grandchildren
All of them faithful because of this man, all his lineage is faithful
So, Father, as we are praying for Pastor Ray right now, for those of you that know his wife, his kids, his grandchildren – even in your heart, just pray for one of them that comes to mind right now (tongues)
Father, we thank You for abundance of blessings just chasing all of his family members!
The blessing of God just running them over
Father, in their sitting down, the blessing of God; in their uprising, the blessings of God
In their going out, the blessings of God; in their coming in, the blessings of God
Upon every one, Father, that pertains and is connected to this dear man, the blessing of God, the goodness of God – even today, Father, even today!
Let Your goodness overwhelm every one that pertains to this great man of God
Father, we are so thankful, we are so grateful that You have seen fit that Pastor Ray Kelly and his family would be part of this body
Not just part of this body but an integral part of this body, of this church called Living Word Christian Center
And, Father, I am so thankful for my dear brother and sister for what they have organized today
Bless them for what they have done, all the money that they have spent
All the efforts that they have made concerning this time and this honoring
Lord, honor them back for organizing all of this
We are so grateful, we are blessed that this holy man of God, Father, everything he touches it continually prospers
Everything that is in his heart, that You have put in his heart that is still yet to come to pass, it comes to pass and it comes to pass speedily in the name of Jesus
Thank You, Father, that through this office You will continue to confound the wise
Through this office that Pastor Ray stands in, those of us that come to prayer and people all over the world, they will continue to be established in their faith
Through this office that this holy man of God stands in people all over the world will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ
Through this office that this wonderful man of God, holy man of God, stands in, more people will just be established; they will know the love of God because of this dear person
Lord, we are so grateful, words are not enough to thank You for the deposits he has made in all of our lives
And, Father, as a token, just a token of our appreciation we are doing what we are doing today
But we cannot thank You enough for what he has done
So, Pastor Ray Kelly, just receive the little we are able to do
We could not thank You enough; we do this little bit just to express our profound thankfulness to God for You sir in Jesus’ name
And in my culture (Nigeria) to honor a great man, we prostrate before you, sir
We honor and respect the anointing, thank You, Lord

Ms. Jeani…

I hear your heart cry out with a powerful humility that invades the throne room and says “More, more Lord.” And your heart cries out for others and God is so pleased with the constant crying out on behalf of the body, on behalf of the lost. And He answers you with the far and above.

Ms. Emelda anoints Pastor Ray’s feet with oil

Ms. Annie sings over Pastor Ray…

♪ How beautiful are the feet of them who preach the gospel of peace
How beautiful are the feet, how beautiful are the feet of them who preach the gospel of peace ♪

Pastor Ray…

That makes me want to kiss every single one of you. I am serious. Everything, every word was beautiful. It is my heart for all of us to expand, to increase, and to make room for more of Him. And in that way we overcome always. Because it’s Him and everything you would say about me, like that, I just honor the Lord because believe me, I know me (ha, ha, ha). Hallelujah, thank you from my family for sure. Bless you.

Way back, way back, I have said it before. When I first got filled with the Holy Ghost, I got a hold of a scripture on a book mark and nailed it on the wall of our house. It read “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” And that has been our prayer and our children and grandchildren are serving Him. And I believe for each one of you too, children and grandchildren, moms, dads, whatever.

Thank you very much
Bless you and your thanksgiving
