Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Well, hello everyone. We meet, once again, for morning prayer. Hope you’re doing well; good to have you with us. My name is Ken.

I thought I would open us up with a passage of scripture found in Ephesians 5:14. Just let it wash over your spirit. Let God speak to you however He may.

It says this in the Amplified Classic…

“Therefore He says, Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine (make day dawn) upon you and give you light. 15 Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), 16 Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity]…”

We’re going to do that right here today. We’re doing that right now. We’re living wise, sensibly, intelligently by starting off our day in prayer and in addition, redeeming the time as well.

It says…

16 “Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is.”

God is going to get a word to you today about His plan for your life…

Can I just pray in agreement with you today that you will firmly grasp and understand what God’s plan is for your life? He is faithful. He’s going to get a word over to you today. He’s going to help you to see what you need to see, what I need to see, what we as the church needs to see and understand as far as this time and this season. I challenge myself often when I find myself living vague and thoughtless and like a pinball bouncing off of this demand and that need and this unexpected circumstance. God wants us to live purposefully and worthily.

When praying, expect God to get through to you…

And as we go into prayer today, just let your heart be lifted and have an expectation that God is going to get through to you. He’s going to speak to you and me about the season of life you might be in, about a situation that needs prayer, because God does answer prayer.

I don’t mean to insult anybody’s intelligence, but I think that’s an important reminder. He was the one, as the Great Architect, who came up with the concept of us asking that we might receive, as the Bible says.

So don’t relent.
Don’t back off.
Don’t remain in a place of discouragement for very long if you found yourself there.

Those who seek will find…

Let your heart be stirred. Let’s let our hearts be lifted and stirred today in this time of prayer and be reminded that He is still the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Be reminded that He is still our Father, the Father of all spirits, each and every one of us. And He’s faithful still to this day, watching over His Word to perform it. And if you’ll simply look His direction and give Him some of your attention and ask, you will receive. If you’ll seek, you will find, as the Gospel of Matthew says and as Jesus said. If you’ll search, you will find. If you knock, it shall be opened unto you. And so just have an anticipation that answers are coming your way today, that answers are coming our way today.

He’s waiting for you to seek Him…

God’s plan all along was that He would work in partnership with us, as I often say. Because He’s already come up with an answer. He’s already put something in store for you, for the church, for the body of Christ in this generation. He’s already the God of, “Yes, I want to do that for them. Yes, I want to do that in your life.” The way He set things up… He’s a legal, or a just, God. And He set it up in such a way that He waits to be wanted. And He waits to be pursued. And He waits to be asked or for us to put in a petition or a request. That is the legal avenue through which God gets what He wants in the earth realm. That’s the legal avenue that you’re able to receive and to experience His great and good and abundant plan for your todays and for your tomorrows.

So don’t relent.

Turn your heart toward Him…

Don’t throw up your hands and say it’s useless regarding your family members, regarding that financial situation, regarding understanding the will of God for your future. No. God is faithful, and He will come through for you. Just turn your heart toward Him as the good Heavenly Father that He is and have an expectation, an anticipation that answers are coming through to you.

God works in all kinds of ways…

You may not know exactly the day or the moment or the set of circumstances that the answer comes or the Word shows up or you realize something maybe watching a movie or something. I don’t know… God works in all kinds of ways. He has a pattern in our lives. And there’s a particular pattern I recognize in my life going back to when I was a child, that He speaks to me and He works in my life.

“The pattern I see Him working in my life…”

And one pattern that I’ve understood is that He always has something prepared for me. Even though it looks bleak or impossible or I feel unable or He’s already got something planned. And it’s good. And it’s full of hope. And it’s full of abundance. And it’s full of blessing. He just needs for us to just see Him and understand He’s faithful and that He’s worked that thing out for you. And that His Word is not restrained but it is flowing to you and to me today. His Word of encouragement. His plan. His purpose. And to not relent or back off or give up on prayer.

The Bible says in Luke 18:1…

“That men ought always to pray, not grow weary or give up or throw in the towel, but to always pray.”

Let your expectation be the craning of the neck, the butt on the edge of your seat kind of expectation…

Turn the timetable or when the answer’s going to happen in your life, turn that over to Him. We’re just going to walk with Him today. We’re just going to worship Him today. We’re just going to elevate our hope today, our earnest expectation that is demonstrated by a craning neck and a butt on the edge of the seat, looking and expecting for answers and goodness and provision and revelation coming to us today. Often in the most unlikely situation, when you least expect it, God walks into your life and says, “Son, daughter, here’s what I’m going to do,” or “Here’s what I have for you.”

He’s faithful.
He’s faithful.
He’s faithful.
He’s faithful.

The Lord is passionate about His will being realized in your life…

He will be faithful to you. He’s not going to let you slip or slide or have to go silently into the night because there’s no hope and it’s all gone, the hope that you once had. No, no, no! He is as passionate and as ardent today at seeing you finish in a flourishing way as He’s ever been. He is as ardent and passionate, the Lord Himself, today at seeing you realize His fullness and His goodness and His promise in your life as He ever was.

So let your heart be stirred…

Let your voice articulate worship and praise unto Him. Sing unto the Lord a new song today. Sing unto the Lord in such a way that it brings Him honor and glory and blesses His heart. Because you believe you receive even before you pray. You believe you receive even before you see the answer. That healing is coming your way. That healing is a settled issue. That is the great message of the Gospel, right? That so much of what we fret and worry about and stress out about and wear ourselves out about has already been settled.

Whatever you need, it’s settled…

If it’s healing you need, guess what? It’s settled. He’s already said yes to that. If it’s provision, if it’s answers, if it’s a way forward in this uncomfortable, inconvenient, stressful whacked-out season, guess what? He’s already said, “Yes, I’m going to bring order out of chaos. Just trust Me. Believe in Me. Worship Me like you already have the answer, because you already do.”

And so with that, let’s take some time and turn our hearts toward Him and worship Him. And then we’ll continue after worship with some prayer.

Prayed…

May the glory of God wash and roll like a mighty wave into every heart, every life, over every situation, into every house of worship.
Lord, we pray “Make a way. Let the way be prepared now for the coming of the Lord.”
Let the way be prepared for revival to spread and increase and grow in Jesus’ name.
We decree that over this house, over every place called by your name, Father.
We decree, Lord, let revival reign. Let revival flow. Let revival increase, spread, and grow in the mighty name of Jesus.
