Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Good to see you everyone. I am excited to be with you guys. I’m so grateful for your faithfulness and your supply of the Spirit to the work of God in this time and in the earth. So just know that you are making a difference. I thought I would just introduce myself in case you don’t already know. My name is Ken Olson. I’m one of the pastors here at Living Word.

I’ve often said that my opportunity to lead morning prayer is what fuels me. It’s my gainer. The other things I like to do too, but they can be more of a drainer. So prayer is what fuels me and helps me to gain momentum so that I can do everything else that I do. I just counted a high privilege and an honor to pray and to be a part of what God is doing in His prayer army in this final hour. But also to hopefully inspire, encourage, and impart you all online and in person with prayer on a daily basis.

Announcement…

I also wanted to invite you back tonight, 7 p.m. Central Standard Time for the one and only Rabbi Jonathan Khan, who will be here in person at Living Word. I believe he’s also conducting a book signing of his latest bestselling books in our main lobby after the service. So you can catch that in person if you’re close to Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove, Minnesota, or the Twin Cities. Or join us online. Share and invite somebody online or in person to Jonathan Kahn tonight. It’s going to be truly outstanding, I’m sure.

Excerpt from Bill Johnson…

Let me just read something first. I thought this was good. I’ve shared something like this before, but it was a post by Bill Johnson who just reminded us that God’s kingdom is “voice activated” that there is significance in your yours and my voice. That what you choose to say, whether it be a prayer or decree or worship or just in your everyday, ordinary conversation sets spiritual laws in motion. It either works for you or against you. Right?

He posted this the other day…

“Sometimes we are one declaration away from our breakthrough.”

I think I’ve said that before. You might be one prayer away from a totally different life. Your words are cumulative. They add up. Your prayers and your confessions and your decrees and what you say. As a pray-er, be very cognizant of what you’re saying throughout the day. Don’t allow yourself to become flippant or casual or undisciplined with your speech because your words matter. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. We know that according to the Word of God… if we’re going to mention the Word in this conversation.

And so know that things can be going wrong, you can be feeling symptoms and sensing that nothing has changed, that’s okay. You have the privilege in the midst of that to stand by faith and say, “This too shall pass.” Or “This too is being transformed and redeemed by the power and the anointing of Jesus.”

You have the privilege in the midst of symptoms to speak to those symptoms and tell them to quiet down, to go away, to speak to dead cells maybe in your body or a broken limb that isn’t functioning right in some way and begin to speak life and begin to pour healing balm over it.

How?

By speaking forth the precious promises of God. By declaring what you want to see going forward rather than what you’re presently experiencing. You can say to a Sycamine tree, according to Jesus, “Be plucked up by the roots and be moved from one place to another” and it will obey you. Not just Jesus. You! Because the Spirit of Jesus lives within you.

So your ability to speak by faith is your ability to move things, move your life forward, move your physical present condition from one that maybe isn’t so good or is malfunctioning in some way to one where you feel like your life is thriving and you feel and sense strength.

“Let the weak say, I am strong. Let the poor say, I am rich and amply supply for everything that God has called me to do.” The Bible says, “Ask that you may receive that your joy may be full.”

The Bible says we are to ask…

The Bible in many places in the New Testament is revealed that we’re to ask. The Father knows what you need, but He still says, “Ask.” He set this thing up so that you have the key to the door that must be open. And your words set that key in motion to open the door, to access the provision, to make way for a completely different life in the days ahead.

Pastor Bill Johnson goes on to say…

“Sometimes we are one declaration away from our breakthrough. God spoke the words into being, and scripture is filled with instruction about the words we speak and the importance of saying what God is saying. You want to know what to say? Say what God is saying. Say the same thing. The word spoken to you was intended and designed and crafted to be spoken through you. For many people, the majority of their self-talk is negative. If that’s what’s in their heart, if that’s what comes out of our mouths, it will undermine the prayers we pray. So let every aspect of your speech and what you say on a daily basis be supportive of what you believe is true for you, according to the Word… what you desire to see.”

Charles Capps…

I’ve quoted this from time to time again. A minister many years ago, he’s now in heaven… The Lord got the attention of Charles Capps one day when he was sitting on his porch looking out over his yard. The Lord came to him and said, “I’ve told My people they can have what they say. Unfortunately, they keep saying what they have.”

So just let that resonate and reverberate in your spirit this morning and let a smile come across your face to think about what could be changed and what could be transformed in your life, in our nation, and situations if we will choose the right words. And we will let our voice become a sword of the Spirit with the Word of God on our lips.

Prayed…

So, Father, we just thank you for this time this morning. We thank you for the privilege to open our mouths in worship, in prayer, in faith decrees today. We don’t take this opportunity for granted. We see this as a divine invitation to be here this morning. Whether we’re in this chapel or online, we just invite you to flood and inundate our hearts and our lives. And just simply have your way in us and through us according to your plan, in Jesus’ name.

Worship leader Kathy…

I want to start with the passage of scripture this first song is going to start with. This is Revelation five. I’m not going to read all of it, but there’s some things that jumped out at me. So this is the Apostle John. And he says, “Then I saw a lamb looking as if it had been slain standing at the center of the throne and circled by the four living creatures and the elders.”

Now Jesus is in heaven, and it still looks like He had been through the cross. So with that picture in your head, listen to what the 24 elders and the living creatures said. “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were slain. And with your blood, you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”

But then it doesn’t stop there. The angels have to join in on all of this. And this is what they said: “Worthy is the lamb who was slain.” That’s how it starts. Now think about this. Jesus was not slain for the angels. He was slain for us. But they still worship Him because He was slain for us. That’s amazing. Can we worship God because of what He’s doing for somebody else? Maybe if He didn’t do it for us, but He’s doing it for somebody else or has done it for somebody else? Can we take their example and worship just like they did?

So it says, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise.” [singing]

Pastor Ken decreed …

Activation. Activations. Activations. Things are being activated now, coming online now, where it’s been quiet, where it’s been latent, where something’s been dormant and seemingly dead, we speak life to that. We call that to activation. We call that to light. The plan of God is coming to life today.

Now! Not tomorrow. Today, in the name of Jesus. Hearts are being activated. Calls are being activated. Resources and provision now are coming forward up into the front lines of the work of God.

Utterances. The prophetic. The working of miracles. The gifts of the Spirit. We speak forth an activation to those things. They must now come to the front. They must now come up to a place of prominence. We declare today in Jesus’ name, individuals, those with callings on the inside of them… All sorts of callings. Some public. Some private. Some technical. Others creative. Some ministry. Yet others legislative in nature. Leadership in nature. We speak activation to those gifts today, activation to our own souls today.

Why? Why are you dormant, O my soul? I will be activated. I will be surrendered now. I will be yielded now. I will go God’s way today and every day. Even as we wrap up this age.

Prayed…

We pray, Father, for a shift in the atmosphere and in the condition of the hearts of your people right here at Living Word and in America today. We pray for a changing now, for a hunger.

Just let His presence wrap around you this morning. Let His presence envelop you this morning… His holy beautiful presence… that His presence melt away the hardness of life and struggle. Let Him minister to you this morning.

Pastor Ken gave a word of exhortation…

I feel like for some, the Lord is just wrapping Himself around you just enfolding Himself around you. Just let Him do that. Don’t resist it. Don’t be indifferent to it. Acknowledge it. Welcome it. And sense that the Spirit of God is saying, “I’ve got you in this call on your life. I’ve got you in this situation you’ve not faced before, this decision you have to make, this transition that you’re in. I’ve got you.”

The Spirit of God is saying, “Don’t worry. Don’t fret. Don’t let your heart be troubled. Rather, let your heart be melted by the presence of God. Let your heart take courage and receive strength and be refilled and resuscitated by the glory of heaven. And know that I’ve got you.”

The Spirit of God is saying that you don’t have to tire yourself out or trouble yourself by trying to figure it out.

“I already have a plan. I already know the way. Even though you made a mistake, even though you messed up, it’s a new day and My grace is ever available and bottomless and profound and ready to flow and is flowing to fill you up and set you up for a victorious day, to set you up to succeed at what I have appointed for you. For after all, My plan is My plan. I envisioned it,” the Spirit of God would say. “It was not a plan for failure. My plans are always for success and for blessing and for favor and for fulfillment in your heart and in the outworking of My plan.”

So understand there’s no reason to frown or sulk or be depressed. But there’s only reason to rejoice and celebrate and allow your heart to sing with gladness because My plan will stand. And My will come to and through you in a way that will glorify Me, in a way that will make you rejoice. Because My plans are for success. My plans for you are to prosper and be blessed and to be a blessing wherever your feet touch.

So know that the days ahead are filled with hope. Know that today is the day that I have made. And I made it for you to rejoice and be glad and have an earnest and forward-leaning expectation that answers are coming through for you now.

“For now faith is,” isn’t that what My Word says? For now faith is the title deed, the substance of what you hope for. Believe you receive it. Rejoice in advance whether you see it or not, for it shall be so. All that I’ve told you, all that I promised you, all that I have nudged you in your spirit by My spirit, that should be so and should be reality for you, it’s coming through.

Don’t hesitate to rejoice. Don’t go another day wondering and worrying or thinking about your own plan. My plan will stand. My plan will come through. All that you have been expecting will become true in your life. That dream. That promise. That desire. That request. That petition. I’ve said yes. Already, I’ve said yes.

So take it to the bank and celebrate that today. In your everyday ordinary life, celebrate, expect, rejoice, shout until the walls come down. And know that My desire is sure toward you, in Jesus’ name.

Thank you, Father, for those encouraging words.
