Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Well good morning, everyone. Good to see y’all here in the chapel. Good morning, good afternoon, maybe good evening to those of you joining us on our online channels. Good to have you with us.

If you didn’t already know, my name is Ken Olson and I’m one of the pastors here at Living Word.

Psalms 85:6, revive us again…

This morning, I want to remind you of a passage found in Psalm 85:6. It states, “Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Show us your mercy, Lord, and grant us your salvation.”

Psalms 111:4, his wonderful works…

And then there’s another passage in Psalm 111:4 that says, “He causes us to remember his wonderful works.” And the truth of the matter is God is going to do it all over again. He’s going to do what He’s done in times past when it comes to revival, when it comes to a miraculous work in a generation. And He’s doing that now.

God is going to flip the script…

In fact, I jotted this down just the other day, a simple reflection that I felt like was the Lord. And it says this: Don’t settle in any way. Instead, wait on the Lord. His glory is coming. It’s coming to America and to the world. It will begin in the most unlikely places and the world will not know what to do with the Christians that are born out of this end-time movement of God. A Lazarus generation, people raised up out of ultimate depravity, hopelessness, and misery. They will be used in an epic way by the Lord in these last days. So get ready! God is about to flip the enemy’s script. His glory is coming. He’s going to flip the script. Amen?

He’s doing that right now…

I believe He’s doing that right now in your particular situation… in your family, in your business, in your body. He is flipping the enemy’s script. The enemy had a script, a plan, but it will not stand. It cannot remain. It is being flipped presently right now.  And prayer is going to continue to do that this morning.

Revival broke out in London, England…

I wanted to read something that I thought was encouraging. Perhaps you saw it on social media or heard about it on CBN news. But speaking of God flipping the enemy’s script, this is going on right now in London, England. The story came out the other day that there was news from countries outside of the United States and it continues to travel around the world. This time a massive Gospel event in London last month saw 70,000 people moved upon by the Holy Spirit with many people giving their lives to Jesus Christ, experiencing healing and seeing deliverance.

Pastor Daniel Chand of Pragma Church…

An evangelist by the name of Daniel Chand, Pastor of Pragma Church and founder of Walking Like Jesus Ministry says thousands worship Jesus and heard an encouraging message in Trafalgar Square in the UK on May 4th. “We witnessed not only history but prophecy being fulfilled,” he wrote. “Thousands in Trafalgar Square heard the Gospel 70 years after Billy Graham stood in the same spot, myself along with other evangelists and pastors, shared testimonies, prayed for the sick, and of course declared the greatest love story—The Gospel.” According to Walking With Jesus Ministries, there were several testimonies of healing, including healing from back pain, arthritis, nerve pain, and macro degenerative disease.

“One woman pushed through the crowd on stage to testify about the miraculous healing she received when a lump in her body completely disappeared.” You better get ready for that. Perhaps even today something bad is going to disappear in your life… in your body… in a situation you’re facing and something good is going to arise out of this season. I prophesy that this morning.

This article goes on to say…

This woman declared, “I had a lump disappear” and the crowd cheered and shouted for joy. God is not finished with the United Kingdom W.L.M. said on Instagram. “We saw the Lord move powerfully in our nation’s capital. God is hearing from heaven and healing our land. He’s shaking everything that needs to be shaken and pouring out His Spirit.”

We’ve been praying about that very thing to happen…

Isn’t that something we prayed about? I know many others have, but we have definitely prayed that prayer here. “Lord, disrupt and shake what needs to be shaken now. We don’t want status quo. We don’t want to go the enemy’s way and be surrounded by darkness. We stand for righteousness.” And justice for the plan of God, for the glory of God. “Chand stood in the square boldly proclaiming and pleading and preaching the blood of Jesus over the nation.” I thought that was awesome.

Tommy Welchel, author of “True Stories of the Miracles of Azusa Street and Beyond”

Let me read one other thing that goes along with this from Tommy Welchel’s book, “True Stories of the Miracles of Azusa Street and Beyond.” I’m not reading this to say we need to hearken back to that or go back to that. No, we’re going forward. But these stories can inspire and recalibrate our thinking to what is, from God’s perspective, His normal. Our normal isn’t God’s normal. God intends for signs and wonders and miracles and experiences in His presence and His glory to be a regular occurrence in this day in our lives, that we would be perpetually propelled and sustained and influenced by the manifest presence of God in our lives… in our churches… in our homes… in our decision making… in our everyday lives.

He never intended that we would go it alone. Having a “once upon a time” experience of salvation or an encounter with Him sometime in the past of our lives. He intended that we would perpetually be influenced and enveloped and always experiencing newness and new ways. His glory, His presence, the influence of His Spirit… that is the game changer. That is God’s normal.

An expectation of God of the breakthrough…

I think it’s important we have an expectation that God wants to break out. That there’s a “breaker anointing” here—a breakthrough. The Bible says our God is the God of the breakthrough. In other words, He wants to break through every opposition and obstacle. I don’t care if it’s something that’s held you back for decades and years. Our Lord is the God of the breakthrough. And He is endeavoring to get our attention and say to us, “Hey, I want to break through that limitation. I want you to bulldoze down those harassing entities that have limited you in your course in this life.”

The season of “nothing is impossible”

We’re entering a season of “nothing is impossible” because we believe God. That’s this next season. Not only that we might experience a healing from a headache, but also that limbs would grow out, organs would be recreated, people would be raised from the dead. Nations in a day would turn to Jesus. That places on the global map would would become glory hotspots.

Minnesota has been prophesied about being a hot spot…

Minnesota is to be one of those. Your nation, your city I believe is to be one of them wherever you’re from. But I know Minneapolis and the State of Minnesota are to be one of them. It’s been prophesied many different ways and at many different times that this is to be a place where the glory is to break out for sure … and to spread.

We don’t have much time left. So be encouraged in that. But be encouraged that starts today by us letting the Holy Spirit shift our perspective… that nothing is impossible! That healing has come to your house and my house today. That today is the day of salvation for you and me, and all those that we’re associated with.

Azusa testimony…

I want to read this story entitled “True Stories of the Miracles of Azusa Street and Beyond.” Simply as a point of reference and a way to recalibrate our perspective to be inspirational, that we would lift our expectations. Nothing is impossible. Jesus recited that numerous times, at least in the Gospels. Nothing is impossible to him who believes. And so this short writing goes starts by saying…

“We can look to Azusa Street as an incredible expression of the heart of God toward His people. Not one who came to 312 Azusa Street was left untouched by the extravagant love of God. All who came were healed in heart, mind, and body. Harmony with heaven filled this small speck on earth. No one was too young or too old. All were rejoicing children of Abba Father. It was a divine party, a beautiful celestial collision of heaven and earth. To quote Pastor Bill Johnson, “Azusa was a prime example of heaven invading earth.”

Get a picture of heaven invading earth…

Okay, so we’re going to get a picture of heaven invading earth. That’s, again, something we’ve prayed about many times and we’ll probably pray about today. Remember, Jesus taught us, “pray that it would be on earth as it is in heaven.” Glory to God. Let me give you permission this morning to let your heart be resuscitated. Let your heart be excited. Let your heart be expectant. Let your heart rejoice this morning that God is on the move, that He is working behind the scenes in your life, in my life, in our nation today… in Trafalgar Square, just recently, right? 70,000 people. That’s amazing.

So the author writes…

“The Azusa Street revival ended in the early part of the 20th century. However, our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. For this reason and this hope, we are not to park in the past and wistfully look upon that outpouring as something that only belonged to yesteryear, like brokenhearted Brother Brown. We are to live expectantly of how God is going to bathe us in His blessings in this day and time. I like the way Tommy puts it, ‘We can’t get by on what happened at Azusa. We can remember what happened there and know that the same thing is for us. Azusa Street is an inspiration, not a bygone destination.’ God is on the move in ways that are to be greater yet, according to the 100-year prophecy…”

The 100-year prophecy…

Which is that prophecy I read not long ago that in a hundred years from the earlier part of the 20th century, revival would break out. It would be the great and final revival of the former and the latter rains coming together. And it would essentially be wrapped up by the coming of the Lord.

“Global glory this time everywhere, everyone with every keystroke in writing this book, my spiritual appetite has grown insatiable to participate in this move of God, which has already begun.”

Can I get an amen?

“I’ve participated in two miraculous healings to date. Then I think of the Azusa saints performing that many or more in a day for more than three years. In all honesty, at times I’ve envied the saints and all who experienced Azusa Street. I hungered for the fullness of this heavenly invasion in my world. As I can still feel powerless when I see sickness, death, lack, and strife all around me. I’ve been immersed in the miraculous for months now, daily penning these accounts while life off the page still falls short of this glory. I joined with others who believe our Christian inheritance is naturally living the supernatural. I’ve grown a healthy dissatisfaction with a life that is anything less. I want my children dissatisfied with anything less. What can I do, Lord? What can we do?

Like Azusa, our role is still to pray it down, fervently filling those heavenly bowls of Revelation 5:8 to the tipping point until we are rained upon this time with grander glory and fresh falling fire, proving the words of scripture once more: “nothing is impossible with God.” Not a missing limb… not a body ravaged with cancer… not a being succumbed to death… not even an empty bank account.

Contemplating this fervor is our resting confidently in God, trusting His promises, His very nature. He has, is, and will always be faithful to keep His Word. This time, the promised outpouring will not end until the Lord comes again.”

Glory to God. I think one prayer that pray-ers ought to pray often is, “Lord, what do you want? What do you want of me? What do you want of my church and my family, in my city, my neighborhood, my nation, the world?”

And so, Father, we thank you this morning and we pray that, “What do you want here today?”
