Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Good morning, good afternoon, and good day… depending on where you’re joining us from online. It’s a good day. God is up to some really good things here today.

There are some things He has on His mind that He wants us to pray about this morning. He’s up to some good things in America and here at Living Word… we believe in your church and your community and your family. Today, we’re going to go out of this thing with a flourishing finish, whether we expire naturally in our humanness before the rapture or we’re caught up to ever be with Him. Regardless, we are going to experience a flourishing finish in the plan of God and the purpose of God, in the promises of God that you’re standing on and believing for in your life, in your assignment in prayer and in the call of God.

Our God is a God of victory…

Our God is a God of victory. Our God is a God who always comes out on top in the end. He is the one that is always able to cause us to triumph no matter what we’ve been through or how slow our start has been or what roadblocks or detours or setbacks that we’ve experienced. God is able to make up the difference. He’s able to, in fact, leverage the adversity and use it to our advantage if we’ll trust Him and will lean into Him and will take confidence in the fact that He has got our back and that He knows the way forward. And that He’s mapped out a plan despite what has happened maybe in our lives or in our country or in our churches. God always comes out a victor in the end through those that trust Him.

Opening prayer…

We worship you today, Lord. We’ve come to connect with you… we’ve come to do business with you today. Father, whatever that business would be that’s on your heart, Lord, we are here for you. We turn ourselves into you this morning, Father; we shed the cares of this life. We lay down self and selfish ambition. We lay down every distraction and worry and sin that would easily get us off the mark and off our course. We release the full weight of it this morning. We turn it all over to you, Father, and we say, “Lord, we surrender to you. We want more of you. We want all of you. We want all that you have and all that you want to do, not only for us in our own, but for this age, in this generation, and for our nation this morning.”

You know all things…

The scripture says in 1st John 2:20, “But you have an anointing from the holy one and you know all things.” This is a word for us this morning. “You know all things.” Verse 27 says, “But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you. But as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things and is true and is not a lie and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him,” in His anointing in other words. In His presence.

He will show you things to come…

John 16:13 says Jesus spoke to His disciples and is recorded in that passage that He was going to send somebody who would be to our advantage, our benefit in this life, in this journey, on the planet, on the earth, that being the Holy Spirit and that He would be called the spirit of truth, the spirit of reality… the reality of God’s will for yours and my life. And that He would lead us and guide us and impart strategy and answers and direction and next steps and inspiration to pray out the perfect will of God. And He would go on to say in John 16 that He would even show you things to come.

The word of the Lord says, “It is time to pay attention.”

And I feel like one of the words the Spirit of God is saying, at least to me, is that it is time to pay attention. It’s time to wake up, be circumspect, to use an old King James word, which means have eyeballs on all sides of your head, 360 degrees. Be circumspect, be aware, be discerning of the time and the season. Pay attention to what not only the Word is revealing to you as you feed on it and as you meditate on it, but pay attention to what is going on, the activity in your spirit.

He wants to reveal, transmit, and disclose to you what God has for you…

Jesus did what He did for many reasons, but one distinct reason is that so we could be in conjunction, or in relationship or partnership with God the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit would rush in upon the prayer of salvation and take up residence, take up house inside of us. No longer is He far off somewhere in a temple on a hill but now He dwells in you. You are the temple of the most high God. And God the Holy Spirit coequal, I like to say, with God the Father, and God the Son, lives in you and me if we profess Jesus. He is the answer. He is the solution. He has all that you need. And His job as articulated in the New Testament is to reveal, transmit, and disclose what God has for you and the steps that He wants you to walk out today and in the coming days. The prayers that He wants you and I to pray.

God grants prayers…

Once again, God grants prayers, the inspiration to articulate and pray out the perfect will of God for Living Word, for your household, for that situation that you see, for this nation, for your nation, for Israel, for the culmination of even the age. God is calling us to pay attention now, to not be slow or ignorant. The enemy operates in ignorance and distraction, but God functions in truth. He desires, the Word says, light and truth to be at the center and the core being of who you are. The Word, but also the Spirit. This is the hour for the Word and the Spirit to come together. And in the nexus of that, the Word and the Spirit, there is success. There is fruitfulness. There is victory. There are answers.

For again, for the greater plan of God, but for you and I individually. So the Spirit of God is saying, “pay attention.” The answer for you and for me, no matter what we’re facing, what we’re going through, how personal it is for you is to pay attention. Be aware of Holy Ghost activity on the inside of you.

Pay attention to the images that come…

Emelda and I were talking briefly before prayer and she asked me about somebody that had come up in her heart. And I said, “Well, that’s interesting. I thought of that same person. They came across the screen of my mind, just the other day.” That must be the Spirit of God getting our attention.

Pay attention to the images that come. I don’t mean go in the other ditch and overanalyze and be immobilized by over analyzation. But just pay attention to words and thoughts and phrases and things that come up in your heart. Oftentimes that’s your cue. Just like there’s cue cards on a TV set for the speaker to say certain things, or for the audience to clap.

The Holy Ghost is perpetually giving us cues now that lead to those answers, that lead to those faith decrees, that lead to us reaching out to someone who desperately needs a simple word of encouragement, and that that would be the very thing that sustains them for today or changes their life on a given day. God is fully orchestrating now His masterful plan.

God is seeking to influence us…

Pastor Mac reminded us this weekend that God is seeking to influence us, to prompt us even just in little tweaks in our daily life and perspective and words that we speak and actions that we take and decisions that we make. He’s influencing us. So pay attention. Be aware that the Holy Spirit is in you, not just for the ride and the tour of this life, but He’s in us to cause us to overcome. He is the spirit of victory. He is the voice of God.

Read off the teleprompter of your heart…

One day I was in prayer and the Lord just said to me in the front row, “Ken, just get up there and just read off the teleprompter of your heart.” And then I proceeded to prophesy for about five minutes. That’s not unique to me. He desires the gifts to function in and through all of us, that there would be a daily discharge of the supernatural.

“Oh, that’s good, Pastor Ken.”

Well, I’m glad that you agree on this Wednesday. Somebody hashtag that and put that in the chat or in social media somewhere. He desires that daily there will be a discharge of the supernaturalness of God, the supernatural powers and signs and wonders and miracles of heaven to come through us because we are paying attention. We’re not oblivious, you know, caught up with the distractions of the age or the fear and “Oh my, what’s going to happen to me?” Nothing. If you choose to rest upon His promises and trust in the leadership of the Holy Spirit, He’s going to see us through the church, and you and I individually, no matter what happens tomorrow or what’s reported or who gets in office.

We believe God’s person will get in office. But regardless of the turbulence and the tribulation that may lie ahead, God fully intends to be with us until the end of the age. We have His Word on it. Let’s stand on that today. Take the reins of your heart. Don’t let your heart run rough shod over you. Don’t let your thoughts overpower you and overtake you and overwhelm you and cause you to be all jacked up by emotions and past things or the forecast of the future in a natural perspective.

Take the reins of your heart and direct your heart in the way it should go. And that is to be focused and set on what God has to say and what He’s doing inside of you. This is especially true for pray-ers and the truth is we’re all called to pray.

Documentary on Apollo 11…

I was watching a documentary yesterday about the space program about one of the first couple of space flights to the moon. There was one particular ground support person in the control center. I can’t remember his name, but he shared a story how weeks ahead of the launch of Apollo 11, I believe it was, and the mission to the moon. They were going through days and weeks of simulations and practice for the real thing. And he remembers one particular day there was just a weird pattern of things showing up on his computer screen and all kinds of error messages showing up. He had never seen anything like that. But he just remembers it; he would later say it was like it was ingrained or burned into my cranial cavity the exact pattern. It was very complicated. And somehow he came up with a solution for that in that simulation from some random source of a binder or something as to what needed to be done in that instance if that were to happen.

Well, fast forward a number of weeks. Apollo 11 takes off in 1969. It was about July of 1969. And not too long into the mission, they were on their ascent into the atmosphere and into space and into orbit and that same error, that rare, random error that one particular man in the control room had witnessed, showed up about, I don’t know how many minutes into the flight. And everybody was kind of like somewhat freaking out because they didn’t know what to do. They basically lost power in the rocket and in the control module. And on the ground, they saw all these error messages and these random things on the screen. And while everybody had no idea what to do, this one particular man who in all likelihood was a godly man, based on some things he said, he was like 25 years old. Because at that time they were all young men. Because nobody had ever done this before. The average age was 25 years old. He basically said in his microphone to the astronauts in the control module, “Flip such and such switch.” Out of the thousands of switches in the control module, “flip this switch.” And they all kind of literally were like, “What? What are you talking about? What’s that?” Nobody had even heard of it. Nobody except for that one man had seen and remembered that error message and knew of that switch.

And so they finally flipped the switch and power was restored and the mission went on. Because they were about to abort the mission basically and blow up the lower portions of the rocket and then parachute back to the earth, I suppose. But I love that because he was paying attention on that day. And God gave him a solution, that particular ground control guy, that would later save this space program and allow them to go all the way to the moon.

God is downloading answers…

So just know that God is downloading answers today, even right now while I’m talking… answers, solutions, strategies, things to pay attention to in the coming days that will cause you to circumvent the enemy’s pitfalls and problems.

Prophetic words…

Let me share a couple of other things with you this morning that align with that a little bit. Some things that may prompt you in regards to prayer. But this comes from a prophetic kind of compilation of prophetic words for 2024. I want to read one paragraph. It says, “We were given special admonition prophetically to go back to shaping history through prayer and fasting.” This book is entitled, “Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting” by Derrick Prince. And the other book is called “Intercessor” by Reese Howells.

“The history of western civilizations, such as Europe is still in the balance and there is still time to tip the scales away from war.” There’s still time. That’s where we’re at right now. There’s still time to shift things in a new direction for America and the world. And what that takes is prayer.

Let me read one other prophetic word…

It states, “The Lord spoke to us a theme of coming up higher in 2024.” So for paying attention, there’s a word right there “coming up higher.” The word pertains to two prophetic understandings, Psalm 24:7–10. As already stated, “Gates will be opened or lifted.” The understanding of the Hebrew meaning for this year, 5784, the number four in Hebrew is symbolic of the door. These are important concepts to understand because this is a season where God is calling us to build. We could say to build the kingdom. To do so, there are doors of opportunity we must recognize and go through.” Okay, hint, hint.

Does God have a door for me to step through? I believe so. Each of us.

“Just as God wants to open doors, Satan wants to shut them in our faces. However, we also note that there are doors that are shut by demonic opposition and others that are shut because God is resisting us or trying to protect us from going the wrong way. Great discernment is ours to know the difference. New authority is being released to stop Satan from interfering in our advancement.”

And can I get an amen?

“Doors of influence, doors of opportunities, and doors to obtain wisdom are being open to us. There is warfare at the gates.” So don’t be discouraged, I would add to that. If there’s warfare, that means you’re at a gate, you’re at a door, you’re in transition. And remember, transition is God’s plan for promotion.

“It is time for you to flourish in this new season. Flourish means to grow, prosper, thrive, increase, and multiply. Do not be content with merely surviving. God wants you to flourish. If you are not flourishing, examine your root system. Are there generational strongholds, roots of bitterness, rejection? Don’t bring the old into the new because it will defile your new season.”

Close the doors on the old…

In other words, close the doors on the old so that you can fully embrace and step through the new. And the old door, the old place might be unforgiveness, might be a self-defeating pattern of thinking that you need to bury with the truth of God’s Word.

Just remember, you might feel like the enemy’s buried you in some way through what you’ve been through, but really you’ve just been planted as a seed to sprout and grow anew. So you leverage adversity; let it be your fuel to renew your mind, to build your prayer life, to say, “I’m not going that way again. I’m going onward and upward. The rest of my life is going to be the best of my life.”

And prayer is the perfect door and opportunity that leads to better things. All that’s needed are the right words. Right words, God-ordained words lead to a better life. Because you create your world with your words, as we said the other day.

“So don’t bring the old into the new because it will defile your new season. New levels of revelation will open to us. Hint, hint.” In other words, God’s got some things He wants to show you, reveal to you. It’s going to give you a level up when you think differently, when you see differently, when He shows you that strategy, that answer, that solution. Pray it out.

“Well, Ken, what is it?”

Yield to the Holy Spirit in prayer. Prayer allows you to access the wisdom of God. Prayer allows the Holy Spirit to operate in His ministry, which is what? Firstly, it’s to reveal, transmit, and disclose. Or in other words, make real or make reality to you the wisdom, the solution, the answers even how you should be viewing this present season of your life. There’s victory in that when you can view this season that you’re in from God’s perspective. So prayer, just like that astronaut or that control engineer received an answer ahead of the problem, God is sending answers before you face adversity.

It goes on to say, “New levels of revelation will open up to us. Revelation 4;1 says, “After these things, I looked and behold a door standing open in heaven.’ In other words, I believe spiritually God gives us a door first that we have to step through. We have to embrace, we have to pray through, we have to embrace spiritually, in other words. And then that door is open to us naturally. You go to another level spiritually, new levels of resource and finance and prosperity and blessing and purpose will open to you naturally, in time.
