Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Well, happy Wednesday morning, everyone! Let’s go! Are you ready? God’s already here. The Lord, by His Spirit, has already shown up early to meet us here. He’s just faithful like that.

Miss Kathy is here and I’ve asked her to open us up this morning. So go ahead, Miss Kathy.

Worship leader, Miss Kathy…

When I was praying about the songs that God wanted us to do this morning, “Raise a Hallelujah” kept coming back to me. So I looked up the backstory, like how they wrote this song. This is going to bless all of you. It was 2017 or so, I think it was the CEO’s son of Bethel Church came down with something that came from eColi and he basically was on his deathbed. And it came to the point where the father sent a message to one of the writers of “Raise a Hallelujah,” and said, “There’s a giant of unbelief. I’m not sure if he’s going to make it through the night.” Something to that effect. And he could feel that giant of unbelief. And out of the songwriter, basically was like, “Well then, we need to sing a melody over it. We need to raise a hallelujah.”

And that reminded me of the passage in 2nd Chronicles 20, where King Jehosaphat and all of Israel were terrified because they were surrounded by three different armies. And it looked impossible. Just like this little boy, it looked impossible that he was going to live through the night. And he did live through the night. And he’s still alive and doing well this many years later.

But the king’s response and all of Israel was to worship. And then the prophet came forth and told him what to do. And said that God will fight the battle for them. So in an act of faith, the king put the worshipers first and they did exactly what this song says. They raised a hallelujah in the presence of their enemies.

So what I was sensing from the Holy Spirit was that we all have stuff that looks like the enemy has surrounded us and it looks impossible. Well, last time I checked, my Bible says that nothing is impossible with God. And that includes politics. That includes your prodigal… That includes whatever crazy disease you’re facing… and whatever’s going on in your life, right? So this morning, I wants us to declare some things and remember our praise makes a difference, And it shows that we have faith in the one who does miracles. So we are going to sing all this over whatever it is that you’re still believing for.

Pastor Ken…

Psalm 34:1 states, “I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord. The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together.” Come on now! “For I sought the Lord and He heard me.” He hears us this morning! David goes on to say, “and delivered me from all my fears. They look to Him and were radiant and their faces were not ashamed.”

This poor man cried out and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps. The angel of the Lord encamps are sets up residence around us, you can say… around all those who fear Him and delivers them. So taste and see that the Lord is good. For blessed is the man who trusts in Him.”

Buy back the time…

In Ephesians 5:15 it says, “See then that you walk circumspectly,” or soberly or wisely. “Not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time.” In other words, buy back the time. You’re doing that right now by being in prayer this morning. “Redeeming the time because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is and do not be drunk with wine in which is dissipation.” Catch this. This is the punchline for me right at the moment, the thing I’m drawn to: “But be filled with the Spirit speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody.” Melody! “Making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to the Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Sister Dar had an exhortation…
Worship in the midst of trouble

The Lord would say to all of you, My loved ones, what are you going to do? It’s a choice. The enemy would tempt you to look at your storms, your battles, your losses, your confusion, your heartaches rather than look at My Word and look to Me. The worship this morning was all your answers. All your answers are giving to Me your thanksgiving. It’s calling forth those things in your life that are not as though they are. Your thanksgiving and praise is lifting up your trust and faith and hope in Me no matter what. And you can do it. My Spirit is inside you. My power, My anointing. But it’s your choice to be close to Me, to be in My Word and to keep looking up. Know that whatever you’re facing, nothing is impossible. I am your God of miracles, but you must believe it. Which I can be hard when you’re in the thick of things. But I said to you in My Word that in this world you will have tribulation and trials, but I have overcome the world. And so have you. I have called you more than conquerors through Me who died for you and loves you.

So My children this morning, look up. Praise and worship is your greatest weapon against the enemy. But it’s also your greatest anointing and ministry to Me to bring Me on the scene. Know that I never fail, that I see you, I am with you always. I never leave you. You must not go by your feelings but what My promises in My Word are. So trust Me, My children. Know My love. Know that I have solutions and answers you know not of. Give Me all your trust and faith. But also more importantly, give to Me all your praise and thanksgiving says the Lord.

Pastor Ken…

Make no mistake about it, at this present moment on the timetable of God’s plan is to be a moment of miracles. Make no mistake about it. Don’t let anybody talk you out of it. Don’t let it get mixed up in your thinking. For I believe God is saying this is a moment of miracles on the timetable of God… a moment of the miraculous. That’s not just some thing that I came up with. This is something God is stating and saying. In His Word and by His Spirit right now. It doesn’t matter. In fact, great that the enemy’s doing what he’s doing to create darkness and chaos, because that means that the miraculous is going to stand out all the more. Because as darkness continues and grows, maybe in some ways in some places, the light is to shine brighter. We are to stand out. And as I often say, called to be the lit-up ones.

Open your mouth and declare the wonderful works of God…

And your words are to penetrate the darkness. Your words by faith, I mean. Not because of what you see. In fact, I was feeling the same thing as Dar, as she yielded to the Spirit of God and prophesied. I wanted to say as well while we were worshiping. Understand that faith means that you can speak regardless of what you see. And what you feel. And how you hurt. And what’s not changing. And what happened yesterday that doesn’t line up and match with what you know God wants to be happening in your life or your situation… or in our nation! While all the more, we should be egged on when we see the opposite happening, that what we know God wants to do. Or when we see the enemy creating disruptions or problems. All the more, that should fuel us to open our voices, open our mouths and declare the wonderful works of God in the Spirit and in our understanding.

This is the hour to receive the miraculous…

Faith is not convenient. Faith is a risk. Faith is not always according to your timetable. Sometimes you just got to get up and you got to gut it out on a given day. You just got to go. But you know what? My God is faithful and I’ll bet if you stopped and paused and reflected, you would find He’s already been faithful more times than you can count in your life. And He’s going to be more faithful, more times than you can count in the future for us individually, for us as a church in this hour… for this is our hour to shine. Don’t get it mixed up. This is our hour to receive and to demonstrate the miraculous. This is the hour when He wants to be lifted up for all the world to see. And whatever the enemy throws at the church or throws in our way will not have an effect because no weapon formed against us will prosper.

The Logas and Rhema of the word spoken…

So understand today that the word spoken to you, both the logos and the Rhema of the word spoken in His Book to you, and the word spoken and breathed upon in your heart is designed and destined to be spoken through you. Because you are a speaking spirit created in the image of Jesus, your words are meant to make a way. Your words release kingdom frequencies that have an effect and a change. If we could pull back the curtain and see in the spirit dimension, we would see the reality and the effects of our words. That they pierce darkness. That they set captives free. That they open prison doors. That they assign power into a situation and light and truth so that somebody can obey because the enemy comes to blind the minds of men and women so that they don’t obey and they hopelessly wander.

But my Bible teaches that your words can release a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, concerning the will of God. Not just for you, but for all of those in your household and those that God has called and assigned you to pray for. Your words release heaven’s frequency and they go to work. It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t change in the moment. It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t change today or we see just a little bit of progress. Praise God for progress! Give Him praise for the progress.

Keep praising and worshiping “as you go…”

Oftentimes, when Jesus ministered in the miraculous arena, the Bible says as they went praising God. In other words, “speaking,” they were made whole. So as you go about your day and your week, know that you are being made whole. You are walking step by step. You’re wading in first ankle deep, then knee deep, then waist deep, then waters to swim in. You’re walking into the miraculous power of God that you might receive and realize and fully receive the miracle of your dream coming to pass. The miracle of cancer cells, every last one of them dying. And you being every bit whole from head to toe. You receiving your whole household saved.

Testimony of speaking to the storm…

I can say this because I’ve walked through some things. I can remember going up to the Boundary Waters with a friend. First day canoeing on the lake. It’s beautiful. Warm 4th of July, 1999. But then in a matter of an hour, the clouds looked dark and ominous to the west and almost green. Which was not good. It was very foreboding in fact. But in a matter of time, we realized, “Oh my gosh, there’s a storm coming in.” And out in the middle of Seagull Lake, which is probably miles from the Canadian border, we canoe to the closest island. And thankfully, we got on the leeward side of the island because I was thinking I need to get on the leeward side of the island where the winds are coming toward us, which doesn’t totally make sense, but it does. Because if the winds are strong enough, trees are going to start falling over. And in a matter of minutes, we hunker down on the leeward side of the island and we began to just declare to the weather patterns. We began to declare and sing “At famine and destruction, we shall laugh. Ha ha ha ha.” How many of you know that seemed crazy and didn’t maybe feel right to your intellect, like, “What are you doing?”

But we did it. And there was some resistance of fear because we’re out in the middle of this island, in the middle of this large lake in the boundary waters. Nobody around us. We’re a long way from anything. And all we had was our faith. All we had was our mouths.

Your mouth is a weapon of war…

Your mouth is a weapon of war in the spiritual realm. It’s a weapon for spiritual warfare. Don’t just sit there and take it and let the devil give you a beat down in your mind, in your emotions, in your soul, telling you what he’s going to do to you. That’s what a lot of Christians do. They just kind of hunker down in a corner and just let the enemy tell them what he’s going to do to them.

No! Don’t take that. Say, “Enough is enough. I’m not going to stay in this place any longer. I’m not going to just go through the motions. I’m not just going to cope and get by. I want God’s best. I want what His Word says. I believe in the God of the Book. And if He said it, I believe it. That settles it.”

And so that day, July 4th, 1999, we not only began to decree while resisting fear, we not only began to worship and laugh… literally laugh out loud at famine and destruction at whatever was coming. We didn’t know. But before long, the winds began to blow… blow so much that we couldn’t even see a hundred feet in front of us. Hail, wind, rain, and then trees began to snap behind us.

The Lord will position you…

Thankfully, because the Lord can even unconsciously position you. If you’re aligned with Him, you’re a pray-er, you don’t even realize it but half the time, He’s positioning you and putting you in places to experience favor, putting you in places and you’re making decisions because your heart is synchronizing with His heart because you are a seeker of Him. Therefore, He’s moving you. He’s positioning you. He’s keeping you out of harm’s way.

And we were on the leeward side of the island, and these old grove pines began to snap behind us. One after another, after another. Later we would find out that it was a great blow-down event, of a once in 500-year storm. It blew down hundreds of square miles of old growth pines in the Boundary Waters.

We were still shouting, still praising God…

And when it was all said and done, we were still shouting. We were still praising God. In fact, we went back to fishing again. But when we got back to the outfitters where we rented our gear, there were whole groups of young people coming off the lake. They were crying. Traumatized, really. An island adjacent to us, there was a young boy that had been crushed by a tree and had to be airlifted out of there with a helicopter.

So my point is, is that your words not only make a way, not only move mountains, not only penetrate the darkness with light, not only assign power to situations that God’s will might be possible, but your words, your worship, your faith decrees, keep fear which is the spirit according to the Word… If we’re going to bring the Bible into this conversation this morning…. Keep it out of you.

Don’t let the world get inside you…

Like Jesse said this weekend. Big military ships, cargo ships, they don’t sink because of the storm around them. They sink because of what gets in them. And I read Ephesians five, which reminds us, “Do not be drunk with wine.” Don’t let the world get in you, which is dissipation or uncontrolled living. “But be filled with the Spirit.” What are you going to be filled with today? Your speaking fills you so that the world can’t get in you. Your speaking fills you with God the Holy Spirit and His presence, so that the storms of life, the temptations of fear and trauma and difficulties and even your past, no longer have an entrance point. And therefore, you’re able to ride above the waves. You’re able to ride out the storm so that when the sun returns and the pleasant breezes begin to blow, you’re sitting pretty.

Worship leader, Miss Kathy…

What I keep hearing from the Holy Spirit is that some people are struggling to believe this because they’re listening to the wrong voices. Some of you need to shut off some of the voices that you’re listening to. That could be the news. Unfriend people on Facebook. I mean, if they’re just full of negativity and full of the world, why are you listening to them? It’s not helpful. At all.

We need to be wise at who our companions are, and that means who we allow to speak into our lives. The Word tells us what kind of friends make your life. The companion of fools suffers harm. Well, some of us need to stop listening to fools.

So whoever that is, maybe you need to throw some books away. Maybe you need to shut off the TV. There’s not a lot of good stuff on it anyway. Open your Bible. That’s what Pastor Jim keeps saying. Open your Bible. Find out what God has to say about some of this stuff. Maybe the details are different. I mean, we don’t have cities with walls around it and stuff, but we might feel like we do. Find out what God did in those situations. That’s the voice you need to be listening to. And those people who are here, those people even online, those people who come to churches like this who believe the Word, that’s who we listen to. And that will actually solve that whole problem of you not being able to believe what Pastor Ken is even talking about.

Sister Barb…

When we were worshiping, I was reminded of Jesus when He was in the boat with the disciples. You remember that story? He says, “Let’s go to the other side.” So we’re going to go to the other side, and here comes the storm. And what is Jesus doing? He’s asleep. And what are the disciples doing? They’re freaking out. But we are supposed to be like Jesus, right? So what did Jesus do? He got up and He stopped the storm.

One day in the valley is enough!

So that is our position. You know, as believers, we tend to want to extend… tomorrow, next month, next year, this’ll change. No, He says, “You get up and you stop the storm. It is in your power. You have the power and the authority to stop the storm today.” Don’t say next month, next year, five years, this is going to change because that is deceiving. That is the enemy trying to get you to stretch out. I know the Word says in Psalms that, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil.” Well, that’s a valley, but you’re walking through, right? That means there’s an end. There’s an end to that valley, and the length of that valley is dependent on you. You can stand up and say, “This is it. One day in the valley is enough for me.” It’s not going any longer. This is the end of that.

Today is the day of salvation…

So don’t let the enemy deceive you in saying, “Well, this is going to be a long battle for you.” How long did it take for that battle to turn when they set the praisers out? That battle turned immediately. And I don’t know if it’s just kind of a prayer thing, because we kind of get in there and we pray out and we pray out. You can get in the mindset that it’s going to take a long time to do things. And that is not the Word of God. He says, “Today is the day of salvation.” Is that not the truth? Did Jesus go to the cross and change things in one day? Did everything not shift in one day? By His power, by His grace, it shifted, it moved. And we need to step out of that mindset as the body of Christ that “this is going to take a while.” The doctor says it’s going to take me six months to recover that this muscle or this repair or this surgery… That’s baloney! We don’t live according to the rules of the world. We live according to a different set of laws. And that’s the law of life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah.
