Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Pastor Folu…
Good morning. Welcome to Morning Prayer. On behalf of our senior pastors, Mac and Lynne Hammond, welcome. My name is Folu Gisanri, one of the pastors here.
Prayer…
So let us pray. Father, we thank you for today. This is the day that you have made and we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Spirit of the living God, we welcome you into this place. Lord, you said we can have what we believe for. So we’re asking and believing for your manifest presence in this place today. Lord, we just don’t want this to be just a routine thing that we are doing. Yes, it’s time to go to prayer. Okay, here we are. We are at prayer.
Lord, we pray that you’ll speak through me and that everyone that is here together as one, your purpose for today will be realized… for this prayer time will be realized. And so we give you all the praise and the glory. Amen.
Prayer for boldness…
Lord, I pray for boldness for everyone that is here today… boldness like never before… boldness with the wisdom of God… boldness with the tact of God… boldness to represent you anywhere and everywhere we are, like never before.
And for everyone that wants that this morning, either here or online, that is yours. It might be something as simple as stepping out and laying your hands on someone for prayer. Maybe it’s boldness when I said for those that want to say something and you step out maybe for the first time and you say something. Boldness, for me, when I gave that word, right. I felt the tug towards the end of that first song. And boldness to go there not knowing how everything was going to develop.
Boldness for you, my brother, boldness for you, my sister, like never before… to be able to represent this great King of ours. And this boldness, saints, is so needed desperately in this day and age that we are in. It’s so desperately needed by heaven that you and I will take our place.
Prophecy about Living Word…
Thirty-eight years ago, the Lord, through Jerry Savelle, gave this word about Living Word. And you and I are now here today. Some of us that are here this morning, we are staff members. Some of us are members of this church, and some are maybe you have not yet become members, but you consider this your church home. And those of you online, you can take this for your church wherever you are too. But 38 years ago, God spoke some things about this church. And I just want to read a quick excerpt of it.
Excerpt…
“For I have declared in My Word that this is the time that Satan would dispatch an army of seducing, deceiving spirits. And if possible, he would deceive even the elect. But stand firm in My Word, saith the Lord, and do not allow that which I have revealed to you in days past slip. But hold it dear unto you. Embrace it, confess it, believe it with the same energy that you did when you first heard it.”
Saints, what the Lord just said there about Living Word 38 years ago, I am seeing it in grand display. More than ever right here at Living Word, the devil has dispatched an army of seducing, deceiving spirits.
We had a gentleman here by the name of Jonathan Cahn a few months ago. Saints, that man brought something to Living Word when he came. And since he came, this thing has been happening like… this dispatching of spirits. I get approached quite a bit in the lobby, “Can you pray for my son? Can you pray for my daughter? She’s involved in this. She’s involved in that.” We’re talking about spirit stuff. And just this Sunday, it didn’t fail.
Just this Sunday, somebody else came to me and said something that “We think this guy is demon possessed and dealing with all this stuff.” Think about it, saints, if the Lord said this to us… Because you and I are here today. We’re at Living Word today… 38 years ago,
“For I have declared in My Word that this is the time that Satan would dispatch an army.” Think about that word, saints, an army. And it’s very specific. The head of the church, Jesus Christ, sent this word through Brother Jerry Savelle… very specific about the kind of spirits that have been dispatched. It says, “seducing, deceiving spirits.” So we’re going to come against that shortly here. And if possible, saints, he would deceive even the elect.
Saints, I’m seeing this more and more. I am seeing a lot of believers deceived in terms of what they’re saying. I’m like, “Are you kidding me? Did I just hear that?” And sometimes He has me challenge some people. “What did you just say?”
But He says this, saints, I love this. “But stand firm in My Word.” Not just stand firm but stand firm in His Word. Isn’t that cool, saints? Not just to stand firm but stand firm in His Word because that’s where everything is.
And I love this next statement. This is to you and me. “And do not allow… do not allow… do not allow.” That means we can allow. “Do not allow that which I have revealed to you in days past slip.” What has He revealed to you? The head of the church, the Lord Jesus, is saying that we should not let it slip.
I know for me personally, I cried out to Him, “Lord, forgive me. I let that one slip. I let that one slip. Oh Lord, forgive me.”
But, saints, see what He says next. “But hold it dear.” My brothers and sisters, how do you hold something dear? Just like when you carry a child and you’re holding that child dear, I mean, it’s precious, right? You’re very careful how you move when you have that baby in your hands. You’re walking circumspectly. You’re not just doing it anyhow. You’re thinking about what you’re holding. This precious thing you are holding. And if somebody says “hi,” you’ll say “hello,” but this is the priority right here.
“But hold it dear unto you.” Embrace it, brothers and sisters. Embrace it. Confess it. Believe it. And saints, maybe because it’s been 20 years or 30 years, or even 38 years when this word was given, it says believe it with the same energy that you did when you first heard it.
Let the Lord quicken to you what He’s showed you in the past…
So right now, we’re going to give about five minutes for you and I just to go before heaven and whatever it is, I believe the Lord is going to quicken to some of us some of the things He’s said to us in times past. He’s going to quicken it to you and however you talk to the Lord, with His help, you’re going to embrace it. You’re going to confess it. You’re going to believe it. And you’re going to say, “Lord, you said this to me 20 years ago, 30 years ago, but I let it slip. Forgive me. I’m embracing it back. Spirit of God, you’ve brought it back to my memory and with every fiber in me, with vigor and with help from heaven, I will not let this thing go.”
Can we do that, saints? Let’s just pray about that.
